First, I gotta note that the problem I had wasn't an easy fix or one that any shop (across the country) could fix; it was essentially a crack in the wheel in a terrible spot, and there wasn't a way to fix the wheel or source one online or find junk yards that even had this wheel. The guys at the shop showed me the crack, as I've seen at 10-15 shops, but instead of shrugging their shoulders and sending me on my way like the others, boss looks in the back yard and finds the exact rim I needed. Swapped the tire onto the wheel, charged me a ridiculously low price for the service and tire swap and, after two years of chasing this problem, I now can get an alignment and stop ruining all the other tires on my dually Sprinter van! Wife's car had a slow leak in a tire that I couldn't pin down. Other shops wanted me to drop off the car all day, pulled into Robert's and they saw us right away. I am more than satisfied with my experience at Roberts. I drove my mini-bus 75 miles from Globe early yesterday morning with an inside right rear dual that was paper thin. There are no shops in Globe with bays large enough to lift my bus for an alignment, so I researched several tire stores and settled on Roberts. Keith at the front desk was very accomodating after I bought 6 tires and requested an alignment afterwards. He didn't have to try to get me in for an alignment. They already had prior appointments and he could have had me schedule another day, but he made sure I was able to get everything squared away before heading "back up the hill". The first set ( actually 6 tires) I had chosen a size other than stock, which ended up not being safe to drive on. I booked my appt 2 weeks in advance with the understanding of 3 things to fix. After they looked at the car they said they would fix it all and gave us a quote. I checked in everyday on my car 3 days later I finally picked up my car. Tried to charge me $500 more then quote and when I got in my car 2 things weren't fixed!! I got out went back inside and they were giving me stupid excuses as to why they weren't fixed tried to blame me and they charged me for fixing them. Not an honest business!! read more

I had the dreaded flat tire when leaving for work and worse yet, my spare is GONE. No clue where it went. I can't remember the last time I used it. My husband took my tire to Big O who it was purchased from, and they deemed it irreparable. The cost of replacement $260. It didn't sit well with him, so he called and took it to Robert's tire. Unpleasant experience Got a flat tire on Tuesday afternoon. I dropped the car to the shop and was told the car will be ready tomorrow morning. 7:11am I called to check 7:30am received a call said the car is ready to pick up 7:40am received another that the car requires a new tire. And if I confirm by 8:00 the tire will be done by noon 3:00pm I called to check and was told the car is ready 3:15 I came to the store and was told the tire just arrived and needs 20 more mins. read more

I had a severe engine overheating problem when traveling down Power Road and I was lucky enough to make it to Roberts Tire for help. It was my wife and me, both in our 70's, and when we pulled in, we were immediately told someone would look at the problem. The person assigned to us was Matt. This is a man who dropped what he was doing and started to diagnose the problem immediately. After doing several tests he determined that the radiator cap had not been properly replaced and this allowed the coolant to leak out every time the car was shut off. He added coolant and replaced the radiator cap. We have not had any problems since leaving Roberts Tire. Special thanks go out to Matt in particular and Roberts Tire. Anyone needing work should visit this business. They do all types of repairs, not just tires. read more

We were quoted $45 per tire for mounting and balancing. Beware - it is actually $45 for mounting AND an additional $45 for balancing for a total of $90 per wheel. read more

I needed a tire-rim combination pair for a specialty machine and had gone to about eight places that couldn't help me. The most helpful among them said to go to Roberts Tires. When I got there, three men were behind the desk. I named what I needed, and two of them openly laughed at me and said it wasn't possible. This seriously angered me and I started to leave. The third guy, the youngest, motioned me to come over and he proceeded to devote two and a half HOURS searching for the right combination. We quickly figured out I'd have to have a custom-made rim, but he worked with the Rimex company to find what they could make that would match tires available that could hold the weight of my machine. He found only one possible combination and I ordered it. At that point, Roberts Tires could've gotten a five-star review from me. But then they repeatedly dropped the ball. Rimex needed more information from them and Roberts simply would not reply to them. I'd harass Roberts and Chris at Rimex would bug them. Roberts wouldn't know the status of my order and "would get back to me." They never did. I finally had to form an alliance with Chris at Rimex and he went out of his way to get me my rims. Then Roberts stalled about going to Rimex to get my rims. Then they failed to get around to put the tires on the rims. In the end, it took six weeks for me to get what was supposed to be no more than ten days. I'll give thumbs-up for Roberts having the tire inventory to make it possible for me to find the tires. I'd give a trophy to the one employee who cared enough to create an outcome. I give thumbs Down for Roberts' two employees who had to laugh at me. And finally, a bad review in general for them simply not caring about my little-guy order--only $1700. read more

My wife had a flat in about a block from their store when she hit a large piece of re--bar that caused an enormous hole. in the left rear tire. Roberts took off the tire and showed me the damage. They did a quick patch and ordered us a new tire. I liked the tire so well I ordered three more as I like to run the same tread all around, they replaced the new tire and we couldn't be happier.
