I brought a car in for tires to get replaced. Ended up finding out the rims were installed in the wrong position. I returned months later because they were so booked every time I came back to have the tires moved from front to back and back to the front. The work was performed and they came and told me it was done while waiting in the indoor sitting area. When I asked for the keys I was shown the car with the tires mounted on the same wheels. The problem was I needed wheel spacers on the front so the wheels didn't rub. And when asking about the problem I was told a wheel stud was broken. They being (Justin) told me it was broken when he took the wheel off. Remind you he didn't tell me it was broken till after the wheel was rotated and he didn't tell me I needed a wheel spacer. I ended up having to pay $25 for wheels spacers and now I have to pay $200 for a wheel stud. Remind you I have brought a lot of business here for my cars and for family and friend's. I work in the business things happen but it's not the customer who is at fault. If he would have showed me a broken wheel stud on the vehicle before doing any work or that I needed the wheel spacers before hand this review wouldn't be here. Short Version: I got ripped off $550 on used wheels that are bent and unusable without repair by an employee of this shop. The wheels were presented as used but functional. I was fooled because I thought I was buying from the shop itself and not just an employee. Request for even partial refund was refused and the employee further wasted my time by setting a meeting to refund me then no-showing. Spoke to the owner, nothing he was willing to do to help me. Full Story: I recently purchased some used 17" wheels from a person named Bannon who works at Elite Tire Co. specifically the location on South Power Rd. I knew the wheels were used but when I purchased them they did hold air and seemed to be functional. Plus I picked up the wheels from Elite's Power Rd location and was told they were good to use. Fast forward about a week I I go to get new tires mounted and balanced on these wheels by a different shop (only used a different shop because they were closer to my location at the time) and I was told the wheels were severely bent and needed to be repaired before any new tires could be mounted. I am obviously caught off guard by this and send this communication to Bannon at Elite Tire Co. via his offer up profile "WhiteRiceThrift". Again, I was not expecting perfection from these wheels, but I did expect them to at least be functional. I then take the wheels to a different tire place to get a second opinion and they confirm the same thing, and even showed me the wobble in the wheels on the balancing tool. At this point I reach out to Bannon again and ask for a partial refund. I paid $550 for the wheels and offered to return them and only take $500 back, letting him keep the $50. I called the Elite Tire Co shop on Main st. In Mesa and spoke to Bannon on 8/24/23 and he confirmed to meet me at the shop on Power Rd at 9am on 8/25/23. I get to the power Rd shop at 9am and Bannon no shows. I then drive to the Main st shop to speak with him there and he isn't there but I did get to speak with the owner. The owner explains they sometime buy used wheels to resell and of course all sales are final on resell wheels (though he was surprised Bannon wasn't at work that day). My frustrations here are 1) I bought the wheels because I thought I was buying from a shop and not just an employee of a shop. 2) if I had been told all sales were final I wouldn't have bought them (again I thought I was buying from a reputable shop) and 3) All Bannon had to do was tell me the sale was final and there was nothing he could do vs. set an appointment with me and waste my time on top of wasting my money. Overall be careful dealing with Elite Tire Co. as they have employees on staff who are not honest. Do not buy anything from the OfferUp profile WhiteRiceThrift. read more

I actually came here a few weeks ago after finding out I had a screw in my tire. I was sort of scrambling to either get it fixed or just order a new tire. After being let down somewhere else, I called Elite Tire and they literally had a new tire in their shop a few short hours later which was amazing because we ALWAYS have trouble ordering tires for our car because of the size. After being told at another shop they couldn't fix my current tire, I was prepared to just buy a new one at Elite. When I showed up for my appointment they took my car back and ended up fixing my tire, which i has been told couldn't be done. Everyone was extremely nice and even said if I had any more problems they could get my tires in their shop within a day which for us is unheard of. Overall, they saved me from having to buy a new tire and I haven't had a problem since going there. They are genuine and a great local shop to go to!!
