My family recommended this place to me. I'm from out of state, and tend to do my car maintenance…read more here in Arizona. I had rear brakes, a brake fluid wash, and my serpentine belt changed. The workers here are super nice, and since they don't take commission, they're honest, and don't try to push you into anything un-necessary! I'm one who usually goes to the dealer for maintenance, but I'm so glad I didn't. The prices were reasonable, and they were able to fit me in as a walki-in. Definitely recommend this place/location for honest repairs! :)

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!…read more These people are not good at anything - other than messing up your brakes. I initially brought my vehicle in to find out what I needed. They said pads and rotors. I had purchased the new pads and rotors myself and paid this shop for the labor to install them a few days later. Shortly after the service--within about a week--I began hearing a persistent squeaking noise coming from one side of the vehicle. I contacted the shop and was told that this can be normal with new brakes. While I understand that new brakes may squeak initially, it is not normal for the issue to occur on only one tire. I was advised to bring the car back in if the noise continued. I returned the vehicle the following day. After approx one hour of inspection, I was told that a metal component was rubbing against the brakes and that the issue had been fixed. Which in my mind that meant - you did not do the job right from jump. However, the problem did not resolve. A few weeks later, after continuing brake issues and taking additional time off work, I had the vehicle inspected by another repair shop. They disassembled the brakes and informed me that the brake components had been installed incorrectly. They showed me that while the other brake pads were measuring at approximately an "8," the affected pad was already worn down to a "4," which clearly indicates improper installation or an unresolved underlying issue. They provided me with written documentation outlining their findings. I brought this documentation back to brake masters to address the matter. Unfortunately, during this visit, my concerns were repeatedly dismissed, and I was told that the issue was not their responsibility. Only after insisting that the brakes be checked again did the staff take another look and then informed me--within a matter of minutes--that the caliper was seized. This raises serious concerns. When I first brought my car in for inspection, this shop had it for over an hour and did not identify a seized caliper. When they initially installed the new pads and rotors, you had the vehicle for over two hours and again did not identify this issue. I also brought my car in for a squeaking noise...this issue was still not identified. Yet it was suddenly discovered in minutes during my most recent visit. If the caliper was seized, this should have been identified before installing new pads and rotors. Had I been informed of this issue upfront, I would not have authorized the installation of the new parts. This suggests that the brakes were not properly inspected prior to installation, which is both negligent and unsafe. Because of this failure, not only were the brakes installed incorrectly, but my safety was put at risk. Brakes are a critical safety component, and improper installation or failure to diagnose known issues could have resulted in serious harm. Which makes me wonder how many more of our vehicles get overlooked because they don't care and negligence. I would avoid this company at all costs and take your hard earned money elsewhere.

I bring my vehicle to you, entrusting that you, the professional will fix and repair my vehicle so that I and the others around me are safe. You did not do that today. You put my life and the lives of others in danger when the upper sway bar and link bolt were not tightened. Nut was put on with approximately two threads engaged. And yet I gave you 4,400 dollars of my money that I work for to survive and you could've killed me. What part of this do you think is ok?? Not only did you royally not inspect or review your work..you also never have in the past either. I was there a few weeks ago for an oil change you didnt even tighten the oil filter!! You also didn't replace the fastener grommets under your hood !! But yet when it came time to pay for the so called repairs you tried to tell me my estimate was more because some parts were more expensive. I didnt entrust my vehicle to your business for giggles. I didnt entrust my vehicle to you for nothing. I actually care about my vehicle. And anybody that lives in the desert knows car batteries do not do well in a very hot temperatures and very cold temperatures. Which we seem to have an abundance of both in 2023. My battery started showing signs of going bad and I stopped in at O'Reilly Auto parts I did not have my receipt for the battery that I bought there a year and a half ago. I do always use my phone number when I buy auto parts just in case I have an issue. Cody was working, he is the assistant manager of the store. For some reason their computer system was having issues and he was not able to look up my phone number in their system. Cody was very patient and tried several different ways to locate my phone number in the computer. He even called another store whose computer was working and was able to locate my information so I could get the warranty claim on the battery. I appreciate the fact that he stuck with it and was able to get the issue resolved. The computer did finally start working so that helped. But Cody was not going to give up until he got that battery changed. I highly recommend O'Reilly Auto parts.

I called them on the evening of 09/03 to ask if they had a battery that fits my car. I believed that my last battery was purchased with AutoZone 4 years ago and I tell them this. They have only 3 year warranty options available (more $$$) and I stress that I can't afford more than a 2 year, and then the assistant store manager Cory makes it seem like he's going to do me a great service and price match a similar battery with Walmart, and is going out of the way to even look for a lower price for me. Red Flag #1 (I didn't realize at the time) is when Cory asks why I don't want a 3 year and I say, "I don't need a 3 year since my battery lasted 4 years anyway", and Cory says "I can see why you would think that". He pulled my info with just my phone number and that surprised me because I don't remember shopping with O'Reilly before. This was Red Flag #2 but I didn't think on it further. I thanked him sincerely, went to the store that night and bought it. While checking out Cory once again gave a whole song and dance about how he's helping me out here, no problem at all. Red Flag #3, is looking back and forth with the other store associate in a peculiar way. As though they know something I don't, or Cory doesnt want the other associate to say anything. Something felt 'off' the whole time. The afternoon of 09/04 I go to return my old battery for the core exchange. Partnered with store manager Bryan and brought up that it was odd that my info pulled up, I realized I have an O'Reilly brand battery in my car currently, and is it possible my battery was actually within warranty? Bingo. My warranty ends 09/23/23, I bought it with them in 2021. I just barely caught it before that warranty ran out. I ask how and why Cory could have missed this information and Bryan gives a vague "well did he look at your car? No? Must not have been looking at that screen". He then talks me into keeping the battery as a purchase rather than taking advantage of the warranty in a convoluted way, by making it sound like it's a better deal to simply buy my battery now so it has three year warranty starting today rather than running out of warranty in 20 days. What an idiot I am. Of course the better deal is to get a FREE battery while it's within warranty for the last 20 days. What are the odds something will happen to a brand new battery? Even if it did, I was already going to buy a new battery. Literally trying to rob me of the last few days I could use the warranty. Thanks for making me look like a dingus, Bryan. I'm sure y'all had a good laugh when I left. I came back an hour later to get the full refund and use my warranty. Bryan didn't look too happy about it. Sorry you didn't get a measly $173 for your store this month by trying to trick someone with slimy sales tactics. This left a bad taste in my mouth and I will never return to another O'Reilly.
