This is still an ongoing issue and a gentleman from their corporate office named Kacey Meeks thinks adding green coolant to a Toyota Sienna that has red/pink coolant(the correct coolant) in it isn't a problem. He doesn't think an O'Reilly's employee putting the wrong coolant into a car without permission is problematic. Those were his words. He also called my mother and left a message and told her to call him back at the number that wouldn't work. Mixing green coolant into a Toyota Sienna that uses red (Toyota Long Life) coolant can cause the two types to react, creating a sludgy, gel-like substance that clogs the radiator, heater core, and engine passages. This sludge can lead to overheating, water pump failure, and significant engine damage. 8/11/25. I drive quite a ways to shop at this location (on Apache Trail near the 202 store 2734). It always has the best and helpful employees. Christopher (CHRIS S) was my savior as he found the Bosch wiper blades (different sizes for RAV4) and installed them . He's my hero !! Now my windshield is perfectly "dust and drop free" I can see !!! Thank you Christopher !! Been coming to this location here for over 10 years weekly, not sure what happened to the customer service but it's gone down hill. Place is ran by a bunch of Tweakers. Never liked going to autozone but looks like I'll be going there from now on. Very disappointed on how I've been treated over the past few months and this last time I was in there I had enough. Well established auto parts store in East Mesa. My Dad had a dead car battery and an employee named "Dominic" saved the day. My Dad was able to get his battery changed by Dominic in about 5-10 mins (and in the dark) and all the while, Dominic was a good sport about it. He even tested the battery after my Dad purchased a new one, just to make sure it was the battery that was having the problem and not the alternator. The other guy who works there (I didn't catch his name) has also been helpful in the past. The battery prices are on par with AutoZone and WalMart, but we like going to this O'Reilly location because of the continual great service! read more

As a female that's worked on cars her whole life this location has been awesome in terms of respect and not belittling me based on my gender. Until I met Mike. I've had a few interactions with him at this point and every time I've dealt with him he's been nothing but disrespectful. Making comments like "well obviously you don't know." "you sure you know how to put this in?" I get that a lot of females don't know much about cars but that should not be implied due the fact I don't have a shaft in between my legs. I originally went to Walmart with what I thought was battery trouble. They told me it wasn't a battery but it could be an alternator problem, they told me to go to O'Reilly Auto Parts. I went to this location and Hunter immediately helped me. He advised my batter had corrosion and he cleaned it off. I told him Walmart wouldn't change my air filter, so he didn't for me, and then he advised me the problem could be the starter, and explained to me how to do an at home test, and he even referred me to a place who can fix it, if it is the starter. Hunter is incredible, and I will recommend this O'Reilly on Ellsworth and Guadalupe forced...thank you!! read more

So the Super Start battery from O'Reilly's was made in Turkey, of all places. It lasted less than two years and O'Reilly's refused to replace it under warranty because they don't have my phone # associated with it. That's fine. I won't make an issue over less than $200 but my Porsche now has a fine Duralast battery from Auto Zone that was made in Germany, same as the car I put it in. It's going to cost Oreilly a lot more than $200 losing all my future automotive purchases for my Porsche 944, Tundra, and F150. C'est la vie. read more

Southern and mesa dr. I have been in and out of this location with out a mask. Several employees have not been wearing their mask properly on Several occasions. I personally don't think the mask a useless distraction and businesses are forcing people to wear them to avoid being sued. My point is the location should not pick and choose to informed masks based on the day or Manger working. I will not go back to this location ever. If I could give a 0 It would be more appropriate, I came in to purchase a fuel injector cleaner and I have always purchased the STP fuel injector cleaner and asked the gentleman that was working the counter if he thought that was the best or if there was a better product out there on the market. He said oh yes there is a lot better of a product called seafoam. He said that that works much better than the old STP fuel injector and would highly recommend that over the STP. The seafoam was only for16 gallons of gas for $11.99 versus the STP which gave me two bottles for $9.99 which treats up to 24 gallons of gas, so much better of a savings using the STP which is more common and what I have seen and have had recommended in the past. But because I assume The store manager Jack would have the knowledge of the product I would take his word for it and give it a try. I noticed at the very beginning that the seafoam bottle did not have a long neck like the STP brand does for inserting into your gas line. He said yes you can pour it right into your gas tank right through the normal area where you would fill up your tank. So I went to the parking lot because I had gotten gas removed the top and stuck it into where my gas goes and it was not long enough and poured down the side of my truck. I stopped immediately because I did not want to waste the product and also wanted to be able to just bring it back into the store because again I'm still just in the parking lot in front of the store and return it and get what I was used to using. He said unfortunately because I opened the bottle it was not refundable but he would sell me a funnel to pour in and that should do the trick which was $1.99 not a big deal. I tried to use the funnel but the funnel neck was not long enough and poured it down the side of my truck again. At this time I am aggravated and want to return The funnel and the product because it is not user-friendly nor was explained that you need to buy a long funnel to pour this product into your gas line. But the store manager did not recommend that nor did he explain that and refused to return the products. I have worked retail in the past with chemicals and we've always carried a 100% customer satisfaction where if you're unhappy with the product if it is open you can't bring it back into the store but we would be more than glad to give you a refund. I didn't want a refund all I wanted to do was use the money I spent on a bottle of product that does not go into your gas tank and funnel that will not go deep enough into your gas tank to get the product in there all I wanted was to get the STP that I had brought to the counter originally And credit my previous purchases that were recommended by the store manager jack which was totally rude and gave me no customer satisfaction and essentially said it was my fault because I didn't buy a long enough funnel even though he's the one that gave me the funnel to use. I can promise that I will never shop here again and I will make sure everyone knows how terrible the customer services and the lack of knowledge that the store manager Jack has. How can a store manager tell you without a doubt a product is better than another but can't even tell you how to use it? Or suggest sir if you plan on pouring this in your tank which you have said that's what you're going to do you are going to need a long funnel to do such that would be called up selling a customer and if he would have done that I would have had no problem purchasing a longer funnel and would have gotten the product in my truck and not all over the side of my truck. But I bet you there is a promotion on seafoam and as long as they're pushing it and selling it they probably get a kickback or spiff that's why it's "the best". Buyer beware Jack the store manager is a joke and knows nothing about customer service and sure doesn't know anything about fuel injection cleaner's or how to up-sell customers especially when the product is needed to use for the application of what they're buying. read more

They've been awesome the two times I've been here. I needed a battery change on a car I wanted to sell. My car must have known too because the battery died the day before my trade in. The manager helped me out, sold me a gently used battery with a 30 day warranty so that I didn't have to pay full price for a fancy one. And he installed it! Talk about a knight in shining armor. I can only refer to O'Reilly as the Autozone Slayer. The staff in O'Reilly stores don't have the tendency to walk around like zombies and stare at customers with blank expressions. this store is horrible! we purchased an AC compressor and a warranty for the compressor two years ago. The compressor took a dump three months prior to the warranty expiration date. my son, a 16 year old kid, had to save his money to have the compressor repaired. we got an estimate two weeks prior to the warranty expiration date, but when it came time to take the compressor and trade it in for the warranty reimbursement, they WOULD NOT HONOR IT! three days! and we even had an estimate that the damn thing took a dump two weeks prior to the warranty expiration date! THIS STORE DOES NOT HONOR WARRANTIES, BUT THEY SURE DO PUSH TO SELL THEM!!!!!!! I've been going to this store for years, but it's just as easy now to go to any other auto parts store in the area! they're not getting any more of my business! read more
