As a 60+ year old female, I could write a book of horror stories I've experienced at mechanic shops. Not today. Goodyear Auto Service Dobson was exceptional. I literally can't remember a time I've received such excellent customer service. I was so stressed out by car trouble today that I misdialed their number 4 times before I reached them. The mountain of angst I was feeling was obliterated after just a few minutes on the phone with Deven. It was such a relief to talk with someone who listened, offered information, seemed genuinely interested in helping me and then proceeded to go out of his way to actually help me. Happy days! I was also impressed by the teamwork and collaborative work environment in the shop. These thoughtful folks took excellent care of me, in record time, without my having an appointment. I am so truly grateful. You can stop researching. This is the place. read more

Extremely disappointed with @Goodyear! Bought 2 tires +oil change in Oct. Tire blew out in 5 days. Corporate made ME pay upfront for replacement & wait 30 days from a refund. Missed alignment check ruined tired in 2 months. Billing error in December left me driving on unsafe tired. #Customer Service Fail # Safety Matter. read more

I've visited this store numerous times in the past year or more. They have been amazing every time. I just wanted to say "Thank you!" For always being so kind, accommodating, hospitable and a major shout out to D'Angelo for going above and beyond to get me back on the road this weekend. I'm a Lyft driver, so it was very much appreciated. I've honestly never been treated with such kindness and respect from any other shop. Thanks again guys! read more

Had a bit of a car emergency on a Friday afternoon. I was conveniently placed across the street from them and thank god I was! I gave them a call and they said to bring it in right away which is already impressive on a Friday afternoon with no appointment. James's customer service is top notch. The gentlemen working here are honest, reliable and professional. Being a girl who knows nothing about cars I appreciate being able to get my car fixed knowing it is in good hands and I'm not being sold things I do not need. Would recommend them time and time again! Thanks guys!! read more

FULLY READ PLEASE! Goodyear took notice and listened to thier customers finally and basically cleaned house which was well over needed. I am a long time customer since 2017 and they have done well over 12,000 of work from then to now and last year was the first bad review I ever put up 8/25 and I do an oil change twice a year and that's when issues are caught and fixed and my car is a pain so I stay here they have the records and I'm told what needs to be fixed and price and I pay. I have seen a huge change in the atmosphere of more people up front helping people not sitting around bullshitting like before. I needed new struts this time and valve covers on my engine which they took the time to go through my history which is long and found that they were still under warranty so BROWNIE POINTS for taking the time to go through years of history on my car. It needs some tie rod boots and a radiator flush which it's going back on the 17th for that. SEEMS LIKE THEY ARE REALLY TURNING IT AROUND AND NEW FACES SO PLEASE GIVE THEM TIME TO GET THERE GROIVE FIGURED OUT BEFORE GIVING UP ON THEM. THEY HAVE POSITIVE FRIENDLY ATTITUDES AND WANT TO MAKE SURE THE CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE IS THE BEST . I learned that first hand today we were going to do my boots drop off today but they would rather do them when more techs are there which fair. I work 2 jobs so getting my car there and getting it at times a slim window. They are the experts so they say my car is fine until the 17th to bring it back then I will listen read more

My car ran into some engine issues. I was able to change the spark plugs but the code wouldn't clear off a cylinder 2 misfire. As a first time car owner, I've tried to my own personal extent to research and learn what I can. The representative Christian was amazing at communicating. I voiced my concerns and questions and to each one, he was able to answer, educate and relieve my anxiety I had towards some unanswered concerns. Looking forward to working with and getting my car serviced with them again in the future. Never be afraid to ask questions- it's your car, Advocate!! read more

Master mechanic Greg quickly repaired my steering wheel after my warranted alignment and free 29 point inspection. Had steering symptoms but so thankful he caught that and saved me from steering failure on the freeway by lightening loose bolt in the column. Very good price and mgr Matt very kind. He knew I was ready to pay for alignment but he informed me I was still under warranty! I will definitely return in future. read more

Brought my car in for new tires. Once I picked up my car coolant levels showed dangerously low. Drove car back immediately to find out they left my coolant cap off having the coolant leak into the car. Mistakenly brought my car back at a later date for oil change. They broke the coolant hose and kept my car for 6+ hours. BE WARE CARELESS SHOP read more

Had to stop by for a quick inspection on my car for turo and the gentleman that was assisting me was really helpful. He let me know a couple of things that I needed to updated on my car in order for the car to pass inspection. I was able to get those things fixed right away and brought the car right back and it passed inspection. He wasn't trying to upsell me on any of their products either which I really appreciated. Quick inspection time as well. Would definitely use them again. read more

LIES AND MISLEADING NATHAN WILL TELL YOU ITS BEING FIXED BUT IT ISN'T PLEASE READ IN FULL. A friend of ours has been a long time very loyal costumer to this place. Again tonight we got a phone call about her car not starting again and she practically begged them to fix it but they didn't. She has been a customer since 2018 and they have made well over 10,000 dollars closer to about 13,000. Please tell me how many mechanics have a customer that loyal. She has had no issues until recently. Maybe if Goodyear reads how they treat long time customers maybe they will care or maybe not but if they treat her the way they did. She almost got stranded tonight took her about 10 tries and 30 minutes to get her car started because 3 times of her bringing her car the Goodyear they didn't fix it. Shes had been having starting issues and she basically knew what it was because of work done late last year. From 11/25 to 06/25 she only drove the car about 900 miles and last oil change was 11/25. She brought her car in for an oil change and the starting issues telling Christian when scheduling the appointment that it needed to go to the place that does electrical work for them that last year they were thought they needed to replace the tumbler but then didn't need to because found a way to fix the starting issue so they thought. She explained in detail to that person and also to Nathan who was at the front when she dropped the car off. She picked up her car and the oil change and brakes were done but not the electrical she was irritated but had to bring it back for angle arms new ones so sheduled for that and left. The issue got worse so she called and explained it got worse bringing the car in a week early for the angle arms and for the electrical again when scheduling very detailed about it not starting taking 6 or 7 attempts and when she dropped it off explained again as well as this time the store manager knew. She was called the next day to pick it up the angle arms were done and they put a new battery in because thee one that was put in 12/24 was drain in 8 months for a car that she only drove maybe 900 miles. So again what she made sure was clearly explained about the starting issue for the 2nd time they yet again didn't bring it to the place that does the electrical as well when she went to pick up the vehicle the turn signal lights were on and had been for about 2 hours in the bay so that should show you how well they pay attention to vehicles after they say they fix them because how did they not know the turn signal lights were on for that long and when she dropped off the car nothing wrong with them. The fact the battery that was only 7 months old was drained when the car was only driven about 900 miles in 8 eight months. They didn't care to check or try to figure out why nope put a new battery in and give her the car back. Most people would of been mad about the turn signal lights and the electrical work not being done but she told them to remove the bulbs and when she brought it back for the electrical they could look into the turn signal bulbs as well but when she went to leave the car door was open and dinging but the keys weren't in the ignition like she told them was happening and the manager and Nathan saw it and heard it and the manager tried to start the car and it wouldn't start again like she was telling them . She doesn't yell or make scenes she tries to make the best of situations. Finally got the car started got home and the next time she tried to start her car it took 7 tries that same day so she called and told Nathan and told him it was getting worse and scheduled to bring the car back the following week just for the electrical and she made sure she told them how bad it was and she needed her car this week badly and she needed the issue fixed. They have 3 to 4 full days before she drops the vehicle off to call and get it set up. She called Thursday for an ETA spoke to Nathan who advised her car was never taken to have the electrical done that they were really busy and he was busy and the only one in the front so the car was never taken for the electrical to get done and NATHANS fix was for her to pick up the vehicle and she needed her car fixed so he said he was working on getting new blinkers and the car would be ready by the end of the day but she wanted it done right so advised would get it then next day and he said ok but it was never taken over for the electrical he lied so her car sat at Goodyear for 4 days nothing done. When she picked it up took 3 tried to start it and it has been getting work and her battery is drained if it was going to start it wouldn't turn over. Also they floor on the driver side cover in grease because they didn't care to put protect it at all. Also since Friday AC not working correctly. HORRIBLE WAY TO TREAT A CUSTOMER. read more

This review is a shoutout to recognize the desk advisor Aaron who is a glowing example of friendly-professional service. He provides above and beyond compassion in his explanations, solutions, and tone of voice. I observed him tackle more customer calls than one staff member should be responsible for, withholding a positive demeanor for each and every client. Aaron ought to be commended for his dedication and hospitality while I awaited a routine maintenance service for a Flexdrive rental on Tuesday and Wednesday 12/10-11/2024. Oh my goodness!!! It's Saturday after 5pm, I have flat tire. The ONLY tire shop open after 5 pm is Goodyear Auto Service. The second I pulled up with my hazard lights on, Natalie immediately greeted me, asked what's wrong. Explain my flat tire and worried how I will get home. They immediately lifted my vehicle and noticed big nail ( main focus was to make sure it could be patched ( , was told it be around $20-$25. Upon Inspection I was told I would need alignment and new tire eventually. When I went inside to pay, Eric ( store manager) and Natalie ( sales advisor) said," don't worry, you don't need to pay anything. I can't recall such kindness from business. It's always, money, money. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND GOODYEAR ON DOBSON AND MAIN! Remember, store manager, Eric and sales advocate, Natalie! read more

Austin has been so helpful throughout the whole process. I had this large metal thing perforate my tire and caused it to go flat beyond repair. Luckily, I bought the additional insurance. Like every other working American, I'm on a 9-5 work schedule. I called Austin and let him know I was running a little late and he was able to accommodate me and help me the best way possible. I was able to slide right in the next day during lunch for them to mount my tire, since it had to be ordered. He was so polite, kind, and progressional throughout the whole process, leaving me VM's to keep me updated. I really appreciate all his hard work and I will never go anywhere else for tires. I went here to get an oil change today and it was great! I love that you can schedule appointments online and see exactly how much you will be paying when you get there (also, look for coupon codes....can save some money). The oil change was inexpensive and the guys who worked there were friendly. They got it done in a little less than an hour, which I am completely satisfied with after my debacle with Meineke a few months back where I was there for around 4 hours...with them being right around the corner, why not give them the business? Note: their parking lot is on the south side of the building and cannot be accessed from the north side (I found that out the hard way :-P) read more

Top notch service, and a really friendly staff, but the following are actual texts I sent during the time I was there for a simple oil change: I've been here so long, they may just offer me a senior discount when I'm done. By the time I get my car back, it may be time for another change. By the time I get my car back, it may be considered a classic. By the time I get my car back, it may need snow tires--if hell's already frozen over, Mesa may not be far behind. By the time I get my car back, the price may have tripled from inflation. By the time I get my car back (your 5-year-old son) could drive it home. By the time I get my car back, cars may be obsolete and I'll need an oil change in my hovercraft. By the time I get my car back, Captain Kirk may want to borrow it. What I'm trying to say, is that despite all the smiles and the deals and the very, very proficient gal behind the counter, I sat there in the (not so entertaining) lobby for 2+ hours waiting on a simple oil change. Being from out of town, I'm glad the Yelps led me to a reputable place and they did a terrific job, but I could have done without the wait. read more

I have been here multiple times, and always have excellent service. Just had a window regulator replaced, and saved about 300 dollars compared to estimates from other local shops. My old tires were tired(pun intended) so I called Goodyear and another franchise store. Ken beat the price and I still received warranties and replacement coverage. I spent $779 and all 4 tires were done in 90 minutes as they told me. I am unsure why other people complain as it is not primarily a oil change place. I highly recommend Goodyear! read more

Finding a good mechanic that won't abuse the; "She's a Woman" card is always a plus. I spoke with Austin and Ken about my Truck using my own mechanical terminology and they both understand me like a second language. They both schooled me in detailed (looking under the truck with them) about what needed to be fixed and suggested time frame to get it done. They didn't quote me an arm and a leg, but reasonably prices and sales. So would, I recommend this location to a Friend's & Family? Absalutily ;) read more

This company is very reliable. I did not even need to make an appointment and they took care of my needs in an effective manner.

I come here often for whatever I need, usually just oil changes. The guys are usually pretty cool and friendly. They are honest too, which is a good quality in their industry. Look out for their coupons, you can easily save 10 bucks on oil changes just from a coupon. Park in the back because I don't think they want you to park in the front. They have a nice TV in the waiting room too so it isn't too painful if you are sitting around. All in all, good place to go for servicing your vehicle. read more

This started out much longer then I decided to cut it short and keep to the facts. My 2013 has been a tad bit brutal so on Thanksgiving when check engine light went on I fell further apart. Goodyear whom I have always trusted jumped in to hopefully end 2013 much better than it has been going. Sofia not only handled my major breakdown on the phone well, she handled the business of my car with class and care. With all the other issues going on, I am happy to say they allowed my car not to be another. I am sitting here writing this, crying at the peace of mind that phone call left me in and the kindness in her words. Thank you for your care in customer service, care is how you speak and listen. Care in how you allowed my 2013 to end. I will never stray again from Goodyear due to a good coupon. read more

I explained what was going on and since I am not a great mechanic the guy seemed confused at first and annoyed because I wasn't able to use the terms he needed to understand what was wrong with the car. That was annoying to me, because of course, that is why I am here. Otherwise they worked on the car very fast and called me back with more of a plan since they checked the car. Unfortunately they couldn't find the problem but it had something to do with the steering wheel so they suggested a couple of thing we could do. I also fixed some other stuff that my car needed and they gave me a good price without trying to trick me into over paying. They called me back and they also let me know when the car was done. Overall a good experience. read more

Had my car looked at and and suposably fixed, at another spot. My car kept making a clank noise. I was informed my car's tires was the issue, from another mechanic. I only had those tires for a year. I went to go buy 4 new tires, from good year. The mechanic there, said he will check out the car for me. He said the tires dont look like its the issue. He said it will take him a couple hours. MIND YOU,this was a walk in service. Took me in super quick. Very friendly, well spoken, as well. Called me within 2 hours, informed me the main problem was my right axle. He informed me some minor issues. He gave me a price quote to get everything fixed and another just for the main issue. I gave him my budget and worked with me. Gave me a discount and bundles the services. Over all, they fix 6 thing that same day. I had my car that evening. Car runs great you can feel the difference, driving it. It doesn't make a weird noise anymore. I would differently come back. Thanks again ken!! read more
