Will never be purchasing car batteries from Walmart ever again. I had purchased a battery less than three years ago with a 3 year warranty. I was not able to get it replaced as the scanning sticker was missing and that is the only way for them to check warranty on a battery. Learned my lesson to go to O'Reilly for batteries as they have everything in their system, and not on a sticker that can be removed, or fall off easily. read more

Absolutely terrible customer service. I'll never attempt this again. I came in first thing in the morning with a flat, because it was right across the street. Sat there with no one else in line waiting for over 15 minutes... everyone saw me, but walked past and didn't even acknowledge me. Finally when another vehicle pulls up, a lady comes out and asks if I was first. Wow. That was a given! She was new, but had no idea what she was doing. Finally asks a tech about fixing my flat but he tells her I need a lug lock to remove the lugs & tire. I kind of figured a shop would have that... nope! So, instead of helping, they flat out tell me they can't do anything about it because "we're just Walmart, not a professional auto shop".... wtf?!? WHY would you be in business as an AUTO CENTER if you aren't prepped or prepared to handle removing & replacing a tire??? The lady was a bit more kind & offered to have me pull around back to use a can of "fix a flat" and the air compressor so I could at least get a temporary fix & take it to someone who can do the job. But, I sat out back for over 30 minutes... all the while the lead tech completely ignored me & kept on with whatever. I finally had to ask for the air, which he disregarded me & proceeded to scream at the lady to come back. And, she did, apologetically saying, "I thought you could/would hand her the hose & take 5 minutes to help". No. She ended up having to do the manual labor & assist with the temp repair. I sincerely appreciate her attempt to help. She was kind & compassionate with my situation. But the other guys & lead tech working in that shop are worthless, rude & I wouldn't pay to have them touch my vehicle after that experience! They flat out do NOT care and that was blatantly obvious. Save yourself the headache & go somewhere else. These people don't care and really don't know what they are doing. But, it's also a huge red flag when they flat out tell you they aren't a professional shop like others & literally don't have the proper tools to deal with the removal & replacement of a tire on a 2 year old, very common sedan! I just tried to get an oil change here today? I pulled into a parking spot at the auto center a walked in. I asked for a oil change. The older employee inside at the register stated no one helped you outside? I said no. He then asked me to pull my car into the lane at the garage door and he would send someone out. I walked past two mechanics talking who ignored me. I pulled into the lane they looked at me and kept talking. There was no one in line....... Just me. After 10 min I just left. read more

Yesterday I took my RV camper van to Walmart to have my tires rotated, simple task ! They got a couple guys right on it, as they were finishing up I notice one of the guys kicking my hub caps on with his boot, jus the front driver side, what the heck you don't have a rubber mallet ? So I let it go, unlike me .... When I drove home .3 miles I noticed on my paper work tire pressure for all four tires was noted as 60 psi, I know my tires are suppose to be at 80psi so I double checked the pressure in my tire to find that three of them were at 80psi and one was at 30psi, wow this lead me to believe they never even checked my tire pressure, wow very lame read more

POOR. They messed up a simple tire repair on one of their warranty tires and then charged for it saying it was not one of their tires. Sloppy work, they took the wheel balance weight off one side of the wheel and left it off. They also omitted the stem cover. I went back to ask the manager to balance it quick and he told me it would be at least two hours to get to it. I took the tire down the street and had someone quick professionally balance it. I have never had poor service like this at Big O or Discount tire. Busy or not they are nice to you and honest. My friend also took her car to walmart to have a battery installed. The inexperienced guys that installed it used 14gauge household wire for a battery to chasis ground. This place is NOT worth the headaches. These are NOT qualified mechanics. I would not trust them for an oil change. They could forget to put oil in and tell you its not their fault when your engine seizes. read more

I brought my truck in with an appointment to replace 1 tire and was told I would need to get in line for the oil change. When I arrived there was nobody ahead of me for the oil change. It was an hour and a half before closing. They took a walk-in before me because they had a 4 tire change out. They had 3 techs working, so I wasn't concerned. I came back to the auto center 15 minutes before closing and they were just putting my car up on the rack. The manager said they did not have time to do the oil change. This is ridiculous and unacceptable. I don't blame the techs, that is all management. The workers are only going to work as well as management expects them to. It took 2 hours (with overttime) to change out one tire with an appointment and nobody here in front of me. At that rate, it would take 3 techs an entire 8 hour day to change out 4 tires!!! I can't believe the owner of Walmart would be good with that turnaround rate. read more
