I'm a bit torn on how to evaluate this nail salon. Let me start by saying I like to go to nail salons for a simple manicure. I pay so they can cut, shape and file my nails because I am insecure about doing it myself! My normal nail salon, which I love so much, was for some reason closed today, but my nails were driving me crazy and I have a busy week coming up so I decided to try someplace new...which is what led me to QT nails. Unfortunately, I am not impressed with my service. My nails don't feel any better than when I first came in, the man working on my nails clearly rushed through, the massage was not that great, AND he told me he could only file them down, not cut them. So, for me it was a disappointment. But, the technicians were all so friendly and welcoming. I could tell, had I came in for more than just a regular manicure, I would have gotten better service. Most people get a mani-pedi it seems and they have plenty of chairs and technicians to accommodate. I would try this place again if I was doing a mani-pedi to compare, but otherwise, not impressed and do not plan on coming back. Although a regular mani is $12, I wouldn't advise going to this salon if that is the ONLY service you would be getting. I give three stars because I do feel like they pamper you if you are willing to spend the $, but if not, don't expect too much. read more

I have been getting my nails done for years and have never experienced another salon quite like QT nails. The staff is always friendly and very personable. You can tell that they are happy to be there and that they want to make you happy. Kit does the best acrylic nails i have ever seen, and as far as a mani & pedi go, perfection every time. The cleanliness of the salon is what really drew me in. After coming here i wont go anywhere else. Give them a try, and i guarantee you will have a fabulous experience! read more

WOW..... This place is awesome . After being unhappy with many nail places around Orange County I have finally found my place! This place does NOT keep you waiting. They give awesome and LONG massages with the pedicures. No one is talking a lot of chatter in another language(very appreciated). And their acrylic nails and pedicure work is beautiful! I had NANCY for nails and IVY for pedicure and both were wonderful!! They do need to update the spa chairs as they were worn and uncomfortable but I will put up with that because everything else is top notch! read more

iv bin going since they opened. i love the staff and the owners are like family. they the mani pedi package is the best, for being on my feet all day i treat my self every two weeks. the girls wont talk to you unless you talk and most of the time theyd be happy to know about your family and they will share about their own. and they DO NOT talk about you in their language, thats a pet peeve of mine in nail salons!!!! try it out read more

The WORST pedicure and acrylic job ever. After 2 days the gel polish was chipping and I already have broken nails, the lady who did my pedicure did a horrible job. A 5 year old would have stayed in the lines, I had polish all over my skin on my toes and it was clumpy. Never going here again. And I still had to pay $51 for the horrible job. They are nice but seriously if you want good quality nails and polish go somewhere else, their gel polish is old. I opened up a dispute on the charge since I wasn't satisfied. First timer today, I give it a 2 star and I may be being to nice. Plus side....was super fast full set and pedi done within an hr! But the lady who did my nails was super rude and having attitude because I didn't know what color I wanted right away, didn't ask what shape I wanted or anything. As she yells to me "what color "? And just walks away and leaves me, the one doing my pedicure kindly came and brought me additional gel colors! That's not the bad part. As I go to pay I happened to grab the wrong debit card I asked can I go grab from my car, I parked a ways and as I just got to my car one of the men is after me and taking pictures of cars inside looking for me !!! I rolled down my window and said didnt I tell u I had to grab my other card!! Luckly I had cash to make him go away so I wouldn't have to go back in! Never again will I come here!! I had the worst pedicure, ever... I believe she thought that sense I was also getting my eyebrows waxed at the same time as my pedicure that I wasn't paying attention to her. She did not cut any of my cuticles and half-assed the callus scrub. Terrible! But I must say my eyebrows and nails look great! read more

My daughter recommended this salon, and her nails always look amazing. But my experience wasn't the same...I was in last week for a gel manicure, It was crowded but there was no one waiting. I only had to wait for a few minutes before a young man came up and said come with me and grabbed my purse and started walking toward the back of the salon. He gestured for me to sit but I had to move a small dirty pillow off the seat to do so. He put my hand in a small bowl of warmish water for about 5 seconds and then pushed back my cuticles, trimmed them slightly and showed me the samples of colors. I found a very light pink, almost white color polish but he returned with a color I can only describe as hot pink....he tried it convince me it was the same color I had chosen! I said I would choose another color...so I showed him another very light pink, almost white color and he returned with a bubblegum pink!? He insisted it was what I chose so I let him put it on. That turned out to be the least of my problems! He polished my nails, my cuticles and my fingers. Apparently that was the best he could do. I think my expression at the end result should have been apparent, but he contined on and rubbed (not massaged) cuticle oil onto my arms and my pinky finger and thumb on both hands. He completely ignored my other three fingers. Then he sat back and said that's $25!!! I was dumbfounded at the whole awful experience so I paid and left. When I got to my car I sent a picture of my horrible nails to my daughter who said I should go right back in and make them re-do my nails correctly. But I was so upset I just left. I've been going to QT Nails for about 4 years now. I just love them. I'm bad about making appointments so I just walk in and get who ever is available. Everyone who has worked on my nails has been great. The staff is so nice and care about their work. I've been coming here for years, I've mainly had nothing but good experiences with a few negative ones. The good always weighed out the bad and I continue to go back here over and over again. This past visit was absolutely terrible. When I went in they were pretty busy, I figured I'd have to wait for a bit but I actually got sat right away. Once I was sat down the person who was doing my nails kept getting up do do other things, I was fine with that because I could clearly see how busy they were. Towards the end of my fill is where I was starting to get really annoyed. The gentlemen doing my nails ended up getting before I was finished because I assume it was an appointment he had, so he left to go help her and a lady (didn't get her name but she had red streaks in her hair) filled in for him to finish my gel fill. She was painting my nails SO fast I could tell she rushing. She would stick my hand under the light for the gel polish and then walk away, come back when the light was off and do the other hand. At one point she left me sitting there with the light off for like 5 min and I was so irritated I got up to pay and leave. She looked at my nails and said "they're fine" and I payed and left. Fast forward to the next day 3 nails on my right hand were already peeling. I pay extra for gel because I work with my hands a lot for work and it last so much longer. So I drove back the day after getting my nails done and they fixed it for free. It's now been THREE days since I got my nails done and now the opposite hand has the gel peeling off my nails. If she would have taken her time like they usually do, this would not have happen because it usually never does. This was only a complaint about what upset me the most, I also got a coffin shape and tried to explain how crooked two of my nails were and there basically wasn't anything he could do about it because he filed them holding my finger one way and when he lets go my finer turned another way. I'm so displeased and upset I never want to return here again. I loved this place so much because it was so close to my house and they USUALLY do a good job but lately I've been having things here and there that I haven't been liking and I think it's time for me to find another nail salon. This place has HORRIBLE service. Don't come here. The girls here, tell u what u want instead of u telling them what u want. Than they give u attitude & talk about u in there language.. I would never ever recommend this place to any family or friends. Be aware when u pay with your credit card or debit card they give themselves there own tip on your card, after giving u horrible service .. I had no choice, but to give them 1 star, they deserve no stars..and to top it off they don't sanitize there equipment. Someone has to call the health dept. on these people sick. My absolute favorite place to get my nails done! Everyone is so kind and does great work. They are always busy, probably because of the excellent job they do and the service they provide. The salon is very clean and attractive also. The receptionist is such an angel, sweetest lady ever, although I didn't catch her name. It was so busy when I came in today that she actually ended up doing my pedicure, and offered me a flower design on her for waiting patiently since it was so crazy busy! I went a couple weeks ago with my whole bridal party. I had worked with Kit to get this appointment booked. When some of us arrived girls were already waiting and ready for us to get our nails and toes done. One of my bridesmaids was running late and the nail stylist waited for her to arrive and took back right away to get started on her nails. This place is amazing. If I could give more stars, I would. I called in and Vi answered and when I asked to book an appointment she assured me I could just show up and be well taken care of. I walked in and was greeted and shown a vast array of colors! While browsing she pulled up a chair and told me to make myself at home. Amazing. I was then directed to a pedicure chair where they started up the massage chair and started on my toes. The foot massage was AMAZING and Kit came over and we had such a good time talking while he did my acrylics. They are shaped perfectly and my feet are so soft! (I apologize for not remembering my pedicurist's name). Both Kit and Vi were so fun and the designs Vi did look incredible! While doing my gel nails the first coat of polish was very sheer because it was a new bottle so instead of just layering more Vi cleaned them off and got a new bottle and reapplied. I loved this place so much but lately they have not been up to standards. I've tried almost everyone in the nail place and they haven't lived up to standards like Nam (who unfortunately is no longer there) I've tried kit before and he is constantly looking at his phone my nails come out different shapes all the time with him. I've tried Jessica who does great with designs but her nails literally lifted off of me within two weeks. Which that has never happened before with me. Jack, he's too into what he wants and what he think you want, a little too rough. The manager of the place is a sweet heart and that's why I continued to go there because they were so nice with my kids. Pricing is okay make sure you ask because I was going there for 2 years and some of the girls would try to hire the price and I was just like I get the same thing every month and they tried . Comfortable, clean, professional, and good service. I've only gotten their spa mani/pedi, but they do gel, waxing, and massages, too. I get better looking nails and accompanying hand/foot massages here than other salons I've been to. Their massage chairs are better, too. The prices might be a couple dollars more, but I think it's worth it. This is a big place, but still mom-and-pop, which I feel good about patronizing. I'm really sad to say I have to give a three star rating. I have been going to this place for a very long time with my grandmother and fiancé. They have always done a very good job and the price was very good. The last few times we have gone they treated us very differently. They were very rude, always got our appointment wrong, very distracted when doing manis always on the phone or talking walking away. I wanted to give this place another chance but when they started changing the price on us I was very dissatisfied. We get the same thing everyone yet the price started changing like an extra 30 dollars change. My fiancé got a pedi and then contracted a fungus so she never got her toes done again. Over all this place was great we loved going here but not anymore. They also wouldn't let my fiancé ever get her nails painted white. Ever. They always said no we can't do white you'll get it dirty.
