I don't think I am a fan of the taichi beef though but that's more of a personal preference. The medium spicy though they warned me is spicy, is actually spicy. I got medium and I was having too great of a time. I had to take the l and go for the non-spicy mushroom soup base at the end. The service was exceptional. The best service I had in any hotpot place. Also, the servers don't feel a certain type of way helping customers they weren't assigned to unlike other places which I thought was great. I asked a lot dumb questions and they were great in answering all my questions. The restaurant was clean and nice. Everything smelled great because ofbthe hotpot. From what I saw, the restaurant is themed around a more village area in China. It reminded me of my village. Wonderful hotpot place overall. Would recommend 10/10.

We came around 3:30pm on a Saturday and had to wait nearly 2 hours for a table for 4 people. The wait time is also longer than they initially provide as it was only supposed to be 1 hour wait. If there is no wait time, then I would recommend. The service is amazing - the servers make sure everything is taken care of and they even tell you that if anything doesn't taste good, they can adjust or remove it for you. The food itself isn't that different compared to other spots, although I will say the food is very fresh. Our favorite items were probably the tai chi beef and the thick sliced tender beef. Both were tender and tasted good. There is a $1.95 charge for sauce station per person so make sure to use it. The interior will take you back to ancient China as it is very aesthetically pleasing. Worth it if there is no wait, but if there is a wait, I would go somewhere else.

All of the meats and veggies they brought out were super fresh and tasty. I sometimes feel like all broths taste the same at hot pots but was super pleased that I could taste the pork bone and mushroom in each of our two broths. I know the dancing noodle is kind of for show, and I did wish that there were more noodles, but they were DELICIOUS. Like the perfect QQ and bounce to them. Highly recommend if you're on the fence about it!

(See the attached photos and videos.) I have to admit, I was pretty shocked by what happened. My party stayed while I took a moment to process everything, and we ultimately decided to continue with our dinner once things were under control. Because of everything happening, I completely forgot to take photos of the food that came out afterward. I do want to recognize the staff for their response and the great service they provided after the incident. They accommodated us, made sure we were taken care of, and helped turn an unexpected situation into a positive dining experience. Once we settled in, we truly enjoyed our meal. The quality of the meats was excellent, the hot pot was delicious, and the service remained attentive. I'm glad we were able to stay and enjoy dinner. I will be back!

Why am I asked to wait before seating when I made a reservation? 2. Workers didn't pay much attention to our table, especially when we needed to more soup base. Probably because we didn't order as much food. ‍ (Additional info: this place is not ACYE, therefore, you pay by the price of each item)

Clean, orderly and most of all delicious!…read more I chose the pork broth. This is a buffet place where you can choose your vegetables and other side dishes. But you can make your own your mind whether you will have meat or seafood. I had both in it and I was not even able to finish the seafoods I ate so much vegetables and they also have a lot of condiments to accompany your cooking. You cook your food in your own private pot with knob controls. I had to get the onions and found the garlic at another section for dips and sauces. But I used the garlic for my broth. Everything is delicious and they add more of your broth of choice if you run low on it. At the end you get soft serve ice cream serve your self, I had green tea and the vanilla and green tea swirl. I also tried the pineapple sorbet. I happen to be lactose tolerant so I was happy with the ice cream. If you are lactose intolerant, they also have vanilla ice cream without milk. Overall - a happy place for me and my cravings! We took the 7 train to get to this place.

Spring Shabu Shabu is still my favorite hot pot spot of all time. Yes, I said it!…read more It's clean, spacious, and well-maintained, which is honestly rare to find in Flushing. On top of that, they even have authentic Dole Whip, so you don't have to wait in line at Disneyland to enjoy it! I've been coming to Spring Shabu Shabu since they first opened years ago, and they have never disappointed me. If you're looking for a huge variety of freshly made noodles, fish cakes, vegetables, and other hot pot essentials, this is the place to be. Although it's AYCE (all-you-can-eat), meats, seafood, and drinks are not included. Honestly, with all the options available at the buffet, it's more than enough for me. The fresh ramen is usually my noodle of choice, but there are so many great unique flavors that you really can't go wrong. Today, I tried the chili garlic and curry noodles, and both were delicious. The curry flavor was light and subtle, but you can definitely taste it when eaten on its own. The chili garlic noodles had a nice kick that I really enjoyed. If you're new to hot pot, this is a great place to start. Everyone gets their own individual pot and can choose their own broth. My family and I prefer not to share because we all enjoy different ingredients and flavors, so having a personal pot allows everyone to customize their meal. I love spicy food, so I always order the Mala broth. The service here is excellent. Special shoutout to Wendy and Jamaica for always being so friendly, attentive, and welcoming. My family and I truly appreciate your hospitality every time we visit. Is it loud? Yes, but not "concert loud." The atmosphere is lively, the music is great, and it's very family-friendly. It's also perfect for large parties and gatherings since there's a separate private room near the entrance. Tips for First-Time Visitors: Most of the parking spaces in the front large lot have been blocked off, so give yourself extra time to find parking around Flushing. Make sure everyone in your party is present since the entire group must be present to be seated. Once seated, place your order first, then head to the buffet area to grab your food. Don't forget to stop by the sauce station near the entrance and create your own dipping sauce! Finally, save room for dessert! Soft serve ice cream: Matcha, vanilla, lactose free vanilla and the famous Dole Whip! Choice of cup or cone. Bottom line: Spring Shabu Shabu continues to be my favorite hot pot restaurant. Great food, excellent service, and a fun atmosphere so stop by and give it try!

It looked like this place only does 1 large pot per table compared to individual pots. You can split the broth up to 3 types. We got the 2-broth split pot with "Liu House Special Soup Base" and "Tomato Soup Base", both were above my expectation in flavor. They have a sauce station that you make yourself and prepped food that is ready to eat such as edamame and seaweed salad. Also, a drink station with water, orange juice, passion fruit juice and iced tea. Everything is ordered on the tablet that is at the table and the staff there are very observing since every time we have an empty plate/dish they would come back and remove it from our table. It came out to $53 per person with tax and tip for an AYCE location that serves higher than average ingredients. Overall I would come back again since I enjoyed it a lot and it is well maintained.
