Grabbed dinner from here recently and thought it was OK. There was parking directly next to the Qdoba, so no issues there. I ordered online and they got me my order within the estimated time window, so that's always appreciated. Unfortunately, my burrito was not super well made - the ingredients weren't properly mixed at all, so all of my guacamole and most of my cheese was at the very end of my meal. At least the burrito was adequately sized (sometimes, especially when you order online, you can get stiffed by places when it comes to portion sizes), but I was left a little disappointed. I've forgotten how delicious QDOBA is! I haven't been back since the whole new branding for the chain. I drove a good 40-minutes to eat her and it was worth every penny! The taco salad was delicious! Ok so I order a 20.00 make your own bowl on 8/21 for lunch and it's to be delivered. The order arrives and the only thing is the small cup of guac. No lunch that was ordered. I immediately call because I can see what I was charged and after waiting about 10 minutes with the guy who answered the phone to the manager getting involved that they are telling me there is nothing they can do because they are only seeing a 2.50 charge for the guac and not the 19.52 for the bowl. Their frauds and running some kind of scam taking your money but not giving you your food. Now I will file a fraud claim with the authorities and my bank to get my money back! read more

WARNING!!! Beware of midwestern bleach colored white people tortillas! Jokes aside... I want to emphasize that the ingredients are very fresh and healthy compared to other restaurants. They have fresh cilantro which is awesome! The environment is well taken care of and clean. I like that there are multiple salsa and queso options. The employees also provided very friendly service and smiles. However my only complaint is that the meats had absolutely no flavor. I will admit I'm from Arizona so I do have a high standard for my Mexican food. However all the meat needed was a little salt and paprika and it would have been fine. The gentleman working there recommended the sweet and hot chicken. The sweet and hot was all sweet and no hot. It tasted like a dessert. Maybe I need to try a different protein next time. The size of the burrito was small compared to chipotle but I will say it was very affordable. I wouldn't personally return here unless I needed something quick and fresh. If you don't like spicy this is the place for you. If you do like spice... bring ya salt shaker with ya! read more

Calls to the store resulted in no answer and a hang up (thanks for that!) I've also submitted a complaint with no response from the company. We've been eating here since they opened. They had a seasoned team but they appear to have all left. Portions have shrunk dramatically. Even the taco salad shell as it doesn't even fill the metal bowl anymore and mine had no bottom in the shell! I had chicken in my taco salad and counted only 9 pieces. We arrived shortly after opening, and the food was cold. I don't mean room temperature, I mean right out of the refrigerator. Most of the sodas were out, and the sweet tea wasn't. My wife reported the problems to the manager, and she generously offered put some hot beans on her chicken bowl to warm it up. Yay! We threw away $30 worth of food and went to Burger King. Been coming here awhile. I got off work and rushed here to get two items to go. They close at 10 and I was at the door at 9:48. I saw as I was parking workers cleaning, but they hid in the back when I came to the door. I know how it is when people come in before closing, I've worked at two places just like Qdoba. The doors were locked though already and I sat there just for a second until I saw someone poke their head out of the back, laugh, and then hide again. I know I might sound entitled and it's not cool to come in before closing, but I've been coming here enough to know the food would've taken 5 minutes tops to prepare and I would've been out before 10. For 2015 QDoba has a new menu- you just tell them what you want in your burrito and they throw it in there for ya. The service size is huge. The staff is younger and friendly enough for this type of restaurant. Their hot sauces are a little misleading- there is a hot, hotter, and very hot. I can slather the "very hot" all over my food and it just isn't that hot. Think 2 stars at a Thai place. And the hot sauce is salty. If you want a huge burrito for under 10 bucks this is the place for you.Next time I go I need to eat half my burrito and save the other half for another meal. read more

This is the only Mexican grill of it's kind in Apex, (no Salsarita's, Chipotle, or Moe's, unfortunately) so we've been regulars here for a couple of years and here are some bullet points based on dozens of experiences getting take out: 1) service is always fast and friendly 2) they're a little skimpy on the meat, I've paid for extra chicken more than once, after witnessing the tiny amount they've put on my burrito 3) chips and salsa are a couple bucks extra and their hot salsa is "meh", but the chips are pretty good 4) according to the hubs, the "naked steak queso burrito w/ guacamole" is where it's at...but, I'll just have to take his word for it :/ read more

But a recent visit to the area brought me by this location. I ordered my favorite item, the queso burrito, and it was not just warm or room temperature. It was cold.
