Burritos are unique and all-encompassing almost. It's kind of a relaxed Beach atmosphere.

My wife and I regularly order burrito bowls. I've tried all their signature bowls. Great value. I tend to eat my entire bowl with the chips in one meal, but my wife typically gets two meals out of here bowl. The toppings are fresh and there is a sauce for just about every taste. Their hottest salsa has a bit of spice, but doesn't challenge your tolerance. read more

Clean and minimalist interior. The staff was friendly and efficient. But the best part was the food. My picture of the Fire Shot looked better before I mixed it up. They burritos or bowls come with chips and if you need more they are free. All the salsas tasted very good and for the heat averse the habanero was not too spicy. ( Caution I like the heat, so take that with a grain of salt ) My burrito bowl was delicious. I like this place better than the "C" burrito place. read more

This is our go to place for nachos. We particularly like the chicken nachos and the beef nachos. We usually do the "make your own" as we are able to customize them exactly how we want. Always fast and delivery is exceptional when we choose delivery. read more

The food at Burrito shack is lovely; the atmosphere was very relaxed The taco salad tastes amazing! You can make any burrito a bowl and it comes with chips You can choose a one of the menu items or be creative and make up your own. This spot was crowded on a Wednesday evening lol. If we were a minute later we would of been at the end of the line. But when we walked in there were 2 ppl inside. The swim school was ending next door and all the families came over after. The food was good and service was great BUT ...... We got nachos with shredded cheese instead of queso, most places would heat the nachos up for the cheese to melt. That didn't happen so it wasn't as great as it could of been. I suggest they do that in the future. Other than that food was affordable and seemed fresh. And everyone working seemed to have great customer service skills. read more

The pico de gallo was fresh, and everything else was good for lunch today, too! My Guppy Quesadilla was loaded with well-seasoned chicken, pico de gallo and cheese, and it was so big I took half of it home. My friend liked his Fire Shot Burrito, but would have liked for it to be hotter. He liked the options at the sauce bar, and that helped with the heat. Both entrees came with a huge portion of chips. At $6.99 for my quesadilla and $7.49 for the burrito, the prices were definitely right! The two friendly employees were wearing masks and stayed behind the plexiglass barrier (it's an order-at-the-counter place). The burrito was ready immediately, but it took a few minutes for the quesadilla. I like that it tells you that on the menu. Went for lunch on a Monday at around 11:45. We ate in but most people were getting their food TO GO. The menu is very easy to understand. Pick a protein and then decide on a bowl or burrito. Tacos too ! Very friendly and helpful employees. You pick what "named" bowl you want but you can actually pick and choose your toppings. It's actually quite a nice concept. Toppings were fresh. I had the "aloha bowl" NO cilantro. I added lettuce and chose what type of beans I wanted. The chicken was nicely spiced. My friend and I ate inside. It was clean. We would go back. Better experience this year at Burrito Shak. This time we dined at the restaurant. Only a few other parties were there when we arrived on a Sunday afternoon. We ordered right away and our meal was made in a reasonable amount of time. Several tables were available inside, so we quickly found a place to eat. Think Chipotle, Moe's, etc but with more options, more flavor, and freshness. I enjoy the variety of toppings and customizations you can get here. I love the sauces/drizzles! The chicken is the best chicken of any of these build your own bowl places. Your order comes with chips and there's a salsa bar that has 5 or 6 varieties. You can get a drink as well and your meal is probably around $10 total making it the perfect lunch (or dinner). I've been here a few times now and it's always good but the employees vary making the experience a bit inconsistent. Once my bowl was overloaded and could feed 2-3 and the next time I wasn't sure if it was enough for one person. The burritos are always huge if you're a burrito fan. I also agree with other reviewers about lack of communication. They have an assembly line going when it's busier (which can be very efficient) but don't really convey what your selections are. I found myself repeating the same thing a few times to different employees. They're still relatively new so maybe with time they'll get these small kinks in order. Some good water, there were things in places I didn't expect things to be. The roasted poblano crema is a sauce. The workers were excellent, and didn't get anything wrong. I enjoy the overall feel of the place not too busy, not too loud. I would recommend the "S-turn". If you're looking for a Mexican restaurant, I recommend going here. read more

The food itself was perfectly fine. The rice was a little undercooked, but otherwise, it was just adequate. Now, let's talk service. The staff was good, end of story. The chairs were uncomfortable, a little too small, and kind of rusty. The water was pretty good. It's a similar concept to Moe's and Chipotle. You wait in line when you enter, place your order and wait with your number. You can choose from nachos, salads, burritos & bowls, tacos or quesadillas (most are served with chips & salsa). My husband and I tried the queso, mahi mahi taco special and aloha burrito with beef. The food was tasty and the portions were huge. The fish in the tacos did not travel well since it was fried so I would only recommend those if you are dining in. It was also really slow, the first guy was doing a two person job so the line was really backed up when we left. In the end, this was a good spot to grab lunch at. read more

Well, this was a first for me. I placed an advance order and picked it up after arriving a little early. Upon arriving home a few mins later I discovered that all of the food was at room temperature. I've had LOTS of take outs and deliveries from as much as 40 mins away and never had food arrive at room temperature. I don't know how long they had it sitting out. Staff was very friendly, they wore gloves and masks. We opted to place a to go order. We ordered, Paradise Tacos w/fish, Aloha bowl w/ slow roasted pork and Nachos w/ carne asada. Tacos were ordered on corn tortillas! So good! The quality and quantity were spot on. I love that they offer pineapple as a topping which reminds me of southern CA healthy tacos! Absolutely delicious! We ordered a build your own quesadilla and cheese dip with chips. The food was delicious- but the cheese dip was really thick- just not what I'm used to. We did a pick up order and didn't realize we had 2 bags. Got home and only had chips. Thankfully it's not far from us and we ran back to get it. An employee also called to tell us which was nice. Got the Fire Burrito Bowl with chicken. Added more hot salsa from the bar. Way better than Chipotle! James was behind the counter and was great. Clean floors and tables. They opened about a week ago and I thought I'd try them out since they're close by. They offer a nice variety of tacos as well but I stayed with the burritos on this visit. I am not disappointed and I will be visiting them again to try other things on the menu. We got the Aloha bowl and the Fire Shot burrito. The Fire Shot certainly had some heat to it, but not outrageously so. However, I suggest you avoid it if hot foods get to you. The Aloha was much milder and very tasty as well. If you don't like the items as shown on the menu there was a variety of options so you can customize it to your liking. I went into Burrito Shak last week. I love the food and everyone that works there. You can order off the menu or, they will create anything you want if it is not on the menu. Shak is an amazing person. I have been going through some difficult health problems and, he is always so kind. He even took time to check on me and give me a hug last time.
