    Texas Fajitas
    Zay M.

I arrived here around 12:15pm for a lunch date. I've seen this restaurant on instagram and was interested in their robot that brings your food. We were promptly greeted and sat. The decor was AMAZING! I truly loved it. The waiter didn't take too long to come and take our drink order. We got a queso dip ($5.75) and I got a Mamacita flight ($16.99). The traditional sangria drink was our least favorite. The mango margarita was our favorite. Our entrees included the Texas fajitas and Chicken quesadilla. I got the fajitas and it came was a mini cheese quesadillas that was HOT and delicious. The fajitas came with rice and beans that was more warm than hot. I also got 3 tortillas that seemed store bought vs homemade. The steak was steak and shrimp were cooked perfectly and delicious. The veggies that came with the plate were hot but the meat lacked consistency in temperature. I was saddened when the robot went to wrong table. It was not a huge deal as a staff directed it to our table. Unfortunately, our waiter not very attentive at all. It took him a long time to return to take our order after asking for another minute. Additionally, he took my rice and beans plate WITHOUT asking if I was done. That was very insensitive and rude, in my opinion. I stopped him from taking my hot plate as it still had food. To make matters worse, he didn't even ask I I wanted a box either, smh. When we were done eating, we wait 15-20 minutes for him to bring us the bill and it wasn't busy. There were sufficient staff present as well. This could've easily been a 5 star review if we received better service.

A good friend invited me to Mamacita for lunch on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. I arrived a few minutes early and was seated right away. Several years ago, this location was Famous Toastery. They have made it their own and the ambiance is great. Plenty of greenery and color. The young lady at the host stand didn't seem particularly glad to be hosting, but I looked past that. Everyone else was pretty friendly and the service was great. JR took great care of us. We both ordered mango margaritas and the San Cabo burrito. I wanted something with steak at first, and everything looked so good, but I was told it was one of the best. I love that they have pictures and descriptions next to most of the menu items. There so much to choose from. The drinks are good. I felt they were a little pricey, but that seems to be the going rate ($14 & up) these days at the fancier Mexican restaurants. The drinks and the food were both good. The Pico was so fresh and flavorful that I ordered a side to finish off my meal. The burrito has so much queso, there's no need to order extra. I'd recommend Mamacita and go back. They have plenty of indoor and outdoor seating.

Thin guacamole may be Florida avocadoes in lieu of the Mexican or Haas avocado. Watery consistency may have too much lime juice.

Camarones a la Diabla, or "Diablo Shrimp," is a Mexican dish of shrimp in a spicy sauce.  The dish is also known as Deviled Shrimp Camarones a LA Diabla, contained 8 medium shrimp cooked in a soupy sauce was a medium spicy sauce using ancho peppers, guajillo peppers and chile de arbol peppers for a rich spicy flavor from chipotle peppers in adobo sauce and cholula hot sauce for better Mexican food. They do not serve salsa verde. Produce. should include whole tomatoes without seeds and extra water, onion, garli, and serrano pepper for some extra heat. Extras. Apple cider vinegar, vegetable oil or olive oil, salt, and pepper. Shrimp. I would enjoy more by having the large shrimp or prawns in lieu of the medium shrimp. Guacamole was thin and watery. Maybe too much lime juice use. Tortilla chips were thick and cold but not crispy and esrm for some reason? Salsa roja, or roja sauce, is supposed to be a spicy, red Mexican condiment not this salsa was thin and watery without much spicy taste but more like tomato soup than a salsa picante They forgot my Queso Blanco but charged me for it. My two tortillas were very dry and fell into flakes because of the lack of moisture. Mamacita needs higher quality ingredients and recipes to succeed in this area to be more successful.

Ambiance was super cute! They made me a cocktail which I drank super fast (didn't get a picture) but it was a guava margarita with Tajin rim (non alcoholic). The food came out quickly. The empanadas were pretty greasy and I think overpriced. Everything else was yummy!

Mamacita food, service, and overall experience were enjoyed. For food, we enjoyed the chorizo queso dip. I ordered the Parraillada (shareable if needed) came with steak, chicken, and shrimp. My entree had a side of rice and refried beans on the side. The menu indicated a stone bowl but it came on a plate. This entree was perfect for me as I was seeking a large serving, so I could have food to take home. The food was really good and the meats were cooked well. My steak wasn't exactly medium well as requested but still decent. The cocktail flight was a good choice and shareable.

Parking: plenty of parking because it was in a shopping center Food: food was flavor but the chicken enchiladas were a bit dry and the poblano relleno wasnt as spicy as expected. Service: to go order but they seemed confused with how to put the order in the system and took awhile for them to figure it out and actually place the order. Ambience : It was to go order but was decorated with pictures good photo prop in the front

**Service** The staff was amazingly friendly. They were very attentive and just fun loving. There was always a joke or moment of good conversation, almost like you felt like family instead of just a customer. **Ambiance** What a beautiful location! I mean you feel as if you are in a garden. The decor is amazing. You almost feel like you are in a fairytale setting. The seating was very comfortable and the location was very clean - greatly appreciated! There is plenty of parking. However, this is located with other eateries so I can see that at some times, the parking might become and issue (like around lunch time). **Food** Here is where I have my meh moment. The food was good for what it was. There was some elements of it that were like, who did this - lol. For example, the entree I had came with a side salad, it had oranges and apples in it. Not really something you expect to have in your Mexican salad. It wasn't listed that it would come with that, so I couldn't truly enjoy it because of my allergies to citrus (glad I take medication before going out to eat - or it would have been a problem). The street corn was realllllly good. My friend truly enjoyed with this the queso and chips. Now, the elephant in the room. We saw this restaurant on IG stating they had $1.29 tacos on Tuesday. When we got there and asked about it - they told us that wasn't the case. We asked where was the location that had it, they said they didn't know. VERY ODD. **Final Thoughts** Pricing isn't bad, but I don't think I will be back honestly. I don't really like to have food that isn't to close to the "norm" for me. As someone else stated, if you do go and have allergies - let them know asap. There is too many things that are "surprises" with the dishes that could be an issue for some.

The food here was delicious! We got queso for the table and it was a great consistency. Chips were also very crispy. The enchiladas were perfect as well and bringing together 3 different sauces worked very well. The Spanish rice was also done to perfection. The drinks were good too. My personal favorite was their mamacita drink. Light and refreshing. The others were strong and well done as well. Service was quick and organized. Our waiter was very friendly and a good guy. Prices were on par with what was expected. If you only got food it would be about $10-20 a person. With drinks maybe double. Atmosphere was also great and there was plenty of seating for people. Plenty of parking as well. Regardless would definitely come back to try the other dishes and overall a good spot!

I had such a wonderful lunch experience at Mamacita. I had been wanting to come here for awhile but it's a bit far from my home. I finally made my way and it was a wonderful experience. The restaurant is so pretty and vibrant. It's so inviting once you step in and the colors and the decor just brought me joy. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive. I sat at the bar and Maria was wonderful. She helped me pick my drink and my food and everything I got fit exactly what I was looking for. The drink was delicious and refreshing and beautiful with the addition of edible glitter and I love that the tacos can be given in a lettuce cups. I had the grilled fish tacos which were flavorful and delicious and perfect for a small lunchtime meal. Their chips and salsa were also very flavorful and the chips were perfectly warm. This was a great dining experience and I'll certainly be back for dinner!

really excellent food and no wait at all! i enjoyed my experience here a lot. i was not aware of the robot waiter which was actually delightful lol. i ordered the enchiladas and my mom got a veggie bowl - both great, as well as the guacamole!

Adequate amount of parking in the front. They also offer handicap parking in the front of the business. They're located in the Weston plaza. The restaurant is new and recently opened. They do not have their liquor license as of yet but it is coming. The staff is really friendly and have great personalities. The restaurant is clean and has awesome murals on the wall. Currently, they offer daily specials that change day to day. They have a big selection of menu items. They offer brunch as well. I highly recommend this restaurant during lunch or any time. The food is very delicious, flavorful.

Until a friend's meetup group scheduled an afternoon "let's have cocktails all afternoon" Friday. Yup, count me in! I got there right at the appointed time, and the early birds were already halfway into their wine. There is a large patio area outside with chairs and tables in small groups. A sunshade and some nicely placed trees help a little There are a few 2- and 4-tops scattered around as you enter. To the left is a large square bar that projects into the room. Behind it is a veritable library of liquors, towering to the ceiling, which is about 9-10 feet high. Seeing the bartender climb up the sliding ladder and fetch a spirit was part of the show. Further to the left are two seating areas with round tables. We had one of these. The Cabernet proved to be the darling of the group (I think we had three bottles and a few extra glasses, but no one was counting! There were eight of us, so don't think we're a bunch of drunks!) I had looked over the menu online and started with the "Up in Flames". It's a Tiki drink, served with a squeezed lime shell garnish that has a sugar cube and some kind of liquor in it. The waiter lights it while still on the tray, and then sprinkles in cinnamon, which sparkles into the drink. He then extinguishes the flame and serves it. It was quite a show and very delicious! If I ever go and sit outside, I'm going to film it! After a bit, we were getting hungry, so food started appearing. The fig & prosciutto flatbread arrived first, (with a single plate and napkin). It was a 12" x 6" flatbread spread with honey, figs, prosciutto, chèvre, and arugula. Another of these came out later. Quite delicious. Someone else had the nachos, which they said were amazing. After asking, the server brought out more plates and napkins. Other cocktails that we tried and enjoyed were the Perro Perdito (Lost Dog) and the Drastic Measures. The Mango-chili shrub in this one packed a bit more heat than the Jalapeño dip! But it was tasty, with the salt/tajin half-rim. After a few hours of fun food and drink and a lot of laughter, we decided to release our hold on the table. The dinner crowd was champing at the bit to take over, and we were pretty sated. Everyone was safe to drive, so we hugged all around and parted ways, well fed and better friends. Thanks, N&S. You may drag me back to Apex again any time!!
