Guacamole Dip

Everything was pretty good at Mamacitas. I wasn't very hungry so I just got a chicken soft taco, which was yummy, juicy, and had a nice flavor. I liked the cheese on top. My husband went with a taco combo and said it was a little bit spicy but he liked it. Their drink menu looks really fun-so many different flavors of margaritas. We'd love to come back on a Friday night and try some drinks. Service was excellent.

Extremely friendly staff, very nice outdoor and indoor seating, kept clean. The right variety of food and drinks. Birria pizza was bomb.

I really enjoyed my dinner at Mamacita. Everything was so flavorful. The Fajitas were delicious, with a good portion size. The House margaritas were a hit. The restaurant was clean with a great vibe. Excellent service.

My children love the exotic foods. Fortunately Mamacita became their favorite restaurant nearby. Food and service both are great. The ambiance is nice, too.

Mamacita is a good vibe. I love the bright colors & textures of the artwork on the walls. The interior of this restaurant is beautiful. I immediately began to take photos. The staff here is very friendly. Our server was immediately at our table to take a drink order. He even gave some menu recommendations. My friend and I ordered fajitas quesadillas and enchiladas. The highlight of the visit was a robot that brought out our food (see video). It was a neat experience that was completely new to me. The food was so good and the portion size was perfect. We eventually ended up ordering Tres Leches cake. The cake is definitely worth ordering. All and all, I will be visiting this restaurant again.

Although we didn't eat, we were provided chips and salsa which did hit the snack spot. The service was top notch. We were able to ask questions and got a great recommendation for our drink choices. They were amazing! The picture does it somewhat justice but the flight was a fabulous option. The ambiance is cool, great decor and quiet during lunch hour. Or happy hour... we'd go back for sure.

Veggie Chile Relleno

Dinner out with the hubby, son, daughter -in-love and two grandsons. Fun atmosphere-music was a little loud but the service, the food and the ambiance were all good. We went about 5 pm on a Saturday. Thankfully, we beat the crowd. When we left there were customers waiting. When we were seated they brought complimentary chips and salsa. We ordered the Guacamole and the young lady made it at our table. We also ordered Queso Dip. I thought it was a bit thin but the hubby really enjoyed it. Two of us had the Veggie Chile Relleno. The others had the Pollo Hawaiian and the Enchilada Mamacita. The 2 1/2 year old had the kid's cheeseburger and fries. The 11 month old was had the rice and beans. I also had the House Margarita; it was so-so. When deciding between this Mexican restaurant and another restaurant, the fun attraction that would tip the scale in favor of Mamacita's are the robots that serve the meals. Definite kid pleaser and the adults enjoyed it also!

I love this mural on the rear wall of the restaurant.

My husband planned a date night for us and this was where we had our meal. It is really cute. I love the decor. They have one of those trendy robot servers. The service was fast which was perfect as we were planning on seeing a movie after dinner. The food was delicious and everything was fresh and moist.

Bar area...Not yet fully set up to serve but they will have a full bar

We've been waiting for Mamacita to open in the old Mikes BBQ spot in Beaver Creek. It's obvious why it took a bit longer since they've gutted the old interior and made it into a vibrantly gorgeous and inviting space. Seating was very comfortable and well spaced. Service was very good considering we happened upon them after being open for about a day. They don't have their bar set up yet but will have a full bar. The food is what stands out here. They have some unique fusion dishes instead of the more traditional Mexican fare. Everything that we had was very fresh, well flavored and well balanced. This will definitely be one of our go-tos in the area.

When you walk in the door, you walk into a great atmosphere. I love the decor and vibe of Mamacita. The food is absolutely delicious! I ordered the Rib-Eye and it did not disappoint. The steak was so flavorful and nicely cooked. I also had a yummy pina colada. All of the drinks that came to the table looked beautiful and everyone enjoyed their drinks. If you are looking for great Mexican food, go to Mamacita! I will definitely be returning!

Taco Salad

This salad was delicious, and service was amazing. I just love this place and can't recommend enough!

Carnitas

Second time there in as many weeks - both time were great! Fast friendly service. Chips and salsa brought when you sit down. Large portion sizes - enough for two meals easily and at a good price. The chicken in the ACP was very tender like it had just been cooked - not dry or tough! Same with the shrimp! Carnitas were flavorful and coupled with the rice and retired beans with pickled onions on the side were fantastic. The dishes were served on nice plates, and the flatware felt like something you would expect in a better restaurant (not a chain restaurant). Plus the food is brought to you on a robot! (It's fun!) Definitely recommend and will be back!

Very dry chicken. Can't vouch for the other dishes but left a lot to be desired otherwise.

We came to Cape Fear Seafood Company in Cary for a Valentine's Day dinner…read more We've been wanting to try this place for a while. Super excited to finally get in to check it out. We made reservations ahead of time online since it was a Holiday. First off the front staff was super friendly and got us to our table right away. Love the feel and the decor. The lighting was a tad dark but that's ok. It was still cozy and romantic. Our waitress was super friendly and knowledgeable. They had a special Valentine's Day menu. She ran down the specials by memory. She took our drink and appetizer order ( the calamari fritti) gave us time to check out the rest of the expansive menu. The drinks came and our app. The lemonades were very sweet and nicely tart from the real fruit purée and lemons. Delightful! The calamari fritti was a knock out, home run. The breading was delicious. The calamari was nice and tender. The marinara was so good. Get this is you like calamari! For our mains we got the Sea bass special with the creamy risotto and asparagus and the figure 8 stuffed Flounder. Lemme tell you...This place knows sea food. What an incredible experience. The sea bass Valentine's Day menu special was cooked to perfection. So flaked and moist. Seared and seasoned perfectly. They should add it to the main menu. The risotto was amazing. Creamy and flavorful. The asparagus was cooked perfectly. The figure 8 stuffed flounder was delicious as well. The crab stuffing was absolutely great! The sauce over top was creamy and worked perfectly with the flounder and crab. It came with the most delicious fresh green beans with a couple nicely seasoned tomatoes. The rice pilaf was also really nice. Around this time I realized the Valentine's Day menu had Oysters Rockefeller ... and I love oysters Rockefeller. So I put in for an order of those. Best oysters Rockefeller I've had in a long time! Add these to the menu! For dessert... we ordered the apple crumb at vanilla bean ice cream. Perfect way to end out meal. We cannot wait to come back and try the rest of the menu! Save us a table! Kudos to the staff and chef / cooks. Yall did an amazing job.

The…read moremini crab cakes were a perfect starter and I enjoyed their very flavorful but not spicy version of their popular shrimp & grits. Nice atmosphere inside, but recommend reservations as they fill up quickly. The Deets: Some friends/coworkers and I decided to catch up over a meal and we decided on trying out this location of Cape Fear Seafood Co. on Lake Pine Drive. I had been to the one located in the Village District (formerly Cameron Village) of DTR in the past and knew of this one opening up through Yelp. If you know me, I am usually not one for seafood but remember I had a pretty good experience at the one in DTR. We noted that it would be a good idea to have a reservation so one was made. Good thing, this place gets crowded fast, even around the 5pm point. Upon arrival, we were promptly shown to a table with menus. While walking in, this restaurant has that beach type feeling with brightly painted areas and subtle pelagic decor without going overboard. The bar area gave a warm, inviting vibe. Back to the menu, their menu is pretty expansive but not over the top multiple pages. I think even the non-seafood lover can find something to like here. We started with hush puppies for the table and I went with the appetizer sized mini crab cakes for myself. I loved the mini crab cakes and the lemon beurre blanc sauce with them, just enough for a starter and tasted great. The hush puppies were good as well but just a tiny bit too brown for me, they were a little bit more done than I'd like. I like them more of a golden finish instead of brown, just my preference. For my main dish, I went with their Cape Fear Shrimp & Grits. They are a pretty popular choice here and I remember liking them at the DTR location. They remained a great choice, they were delicious. They are very flavorful and enjoyable without being spicy, which I like as I am non-spicy food person and it seems most everywhere does their shrimp & grits spicy. I find this take on them refreshing. I would have liked more cheese grits in the serving as it seems to be like a half serving, however the shrimp as well as the creamy sauce were plentiful. Service did a good job here, checking on us periodically. In all, I liked this experience here at Cape Fear Seafood Co. for the most part and would enjoy visiting again in the future.

Once you get past the visuals, the execution just doesn't quite land. The biggest miss was the sushi rice. It lacked that subtle balance of vinegar and seasoning that really brings everything together, so each piece felt a bit flat. Fresh fish can only carry things so far when the foundation isn't there. The miso soup didn't help matters. It had an odd aftertaste that lingered in an unpleasant way, and I ended up leaving most of it behind.

I do try let folks know what to expect from a food, price, ambiance and service perspective. Ambiance; Sora is a place to go if you want a nice low key experience to take the kids to have some really good sushi. It was clean, bright, and welcoming to both families and couples. Service; the service was spot on, not overwhelming, but attentive. The place is small enough you feel like you are getting personal attention. Food; Sora has a really good selection of creative sushi rolls. My wife went for the Mango Tuna Tango and Crazy Salmon Sushi rolls. Wow, what a great choice on each. My rarely fight over food, but we almost had to arm wrestle for the last piece of each roll. I really appreciated the conservative use of rice, it was a perfect amount. Most Sushi places in the area, Cary, Apex and Durham, like to load up on the rice (excluding our normal go to, "Gas Station Sushi"...which is not it's real a me, but if you have been you will know what I'm talking about). Price; I have to say the prices are reasonable for the quality of sushi and the fact Sora does the classic buy 1, get 1 free...we walked away very satisfied by the price to service to food quality ratio. In summary, we will be back to explore the menu and try more of their creative sushi selections... and maybe try the one of their ramen's if are feeling adventurous. :)

The service is really good, not as fast as other Mexican places but still good, the people are nice, warm and helpful. The manager kept coming to our table and checking on us, my daughter dropped her glass of water and the waiters gladly helped clean it up. We ordered pollo chipotle, kids chicken quesadillas and Chilaquiles. The rice beans and guacamole was absolutely amazing but the chicken was a little chewy for my taste. At other locations the chilaquile they serve has a bed of nachos covered with chicken and sauce, but at this location they just put everything in separate lines which we did not like much. I grabbed take-out from here recently and I was a little disappointed by the quality of the butter chicken. It wasn't terrible but the competition is really fierce because there are so many great restaurants serving this cuisine in the area. I will say that we ordered it mild (so that my preschooler would enjoy it) and it was definitely mild, unlike some of the other restaurants in the area :) The sauce just didn't have the depth of flavor that I've experienced at other places. The rice was slightly overcooked, and the naan were not bad but were a little overly chewy. I will say that my wife loved her lamb saag and my mother-in-law really enjoyed her saag paneer, so there's that.
