I won't be returning to this storage unit or any Public Storage again. We rented a unit for my son and his roommate while their apartment was being renovated. They are both 21 years old and trying to be independent. Both are working hard and paying their bills on their own. They moved their stuff out on the 31st because they couldn't afford another month but did not know to take the lock off. The office lady there has on video this being done but still charged them for an additional month with late fees. She acted like that lock was the difference between renting it out or not. I had someone call there to ask if there were many 10x15 units available and was told there was. There was absolutely no reason but pure greed to charge them over $200 for an empty unit when there were many others the same size available. Public Storage lost my business for life. There are too many other nicer facilities if this service if ever needed again in the future. read more

I had to come back and update my review. I've moved everything out of storage. Everything went well. Debora, the manager told me she wouldn't be there to see me move. She expressed in a joking way, I couldn't leave her. It was a wonderful business relationship. She was great! Debora, told me Bonnie would be there to allow my movers to get in the gate. I waited for the movers next to my storage unit. I have always been treated with much respect here. Bonnie, was very kind as well. I cleaned up the debris from the unit and Bonnie wished me well. I moved a load of furniture from out of state to a unit at this location. I was able to reserve the unit and pay for it all online and when I arrived the keys and lock were waiting for me. It was very convenient! Do be aware that there are some tight turns to maneuver between the rows of storage buildings. I had a 15 foot truck and barely made one turn. It would have been even more difficult with anything bigger. Just plan your route accordingly. Other than that, everything was great. read more

If you need storage, this is a great place. Not only is it in a great location, but the management is terrific. I started my search online and found this storage company. The reviews were all good and the location was perfect. I signed up for a large unit and got a discounted price. Within a few minutes of submitting my reservation, Debora called and welcomed me. When I got to the Pubic Storage office, Debora greeted me, showed me some other units, gave me some options, and we actually settled on a different one than I had originally signed up for. This unit fit our needs much better. Debora has been just great, very helpful, and a delightful person! Management definitely matters! I highly recommend this location of Public Storage. read more

A lot of problems with this branch. Autopay not working, when it is deactivated and activated again, they add in the penalty. So now the usual cost is $180 instead of $160. Ps correct! You call them and you get an answering machine. YOu leave a message and they don't call you back. read more

Auto pay system malfunction on the 3rd of May, I admit I had to drive on the 4 th to pay my storage in person .it's happened way too many times. The elevator to use for renters on 2 nd level is conveniently malfunctions on first WK the rent is due 4 th time and last month was my 3 rd experience when the Pakistani woman apologized and sd she'd get it repaired.This new manager gv the most silly excuse for not working on the 4 th , 5 th & 6 the day I called 4 x yet on first call he answered and said he'd get it waking but personally I think either they shut it down for the ones that defaulted on payments hence punishing me.im an old lady,I can't be with out that elevator working .th manager has demonstrated he lack experience to talk to me calmly .I left ph 4 approx msg and no one called me or left a note to users that there's a pending repair order for this elevator. I'm a cancer survivor, I can't carry an conversation w an angry manager whose not offering resolutions .hence I hv to see a chiropractor and a primary Dr this up coming Monday this month . I'm physically hurting from hauling my boxes .I left sm trash on a corner w hopes to get it when I go the next day ,but I'm really sick from the lack if resolution and a small man at the ofccat life storage plc hung up on me twice .he acted like a toddler when I'm an aging adult w a much lower tone voice of mine.geesh read more

Wish I could rate 0 stars. Before i get into my experience, i must say the customer serice is terrible. Dont expect them to do anything in a timely manner, return your phone calls, etc. Our storage unit (along with 13 others) got broken into last summer. The sad thing, I'm sure a bunch of the people who store there stuff here STILL don't know. We got pretty lucky in that the guy who broke in took identity information and the cops had a search warrant on his apartment so we got a couple things back... Anyways, since the cops were involved they were trying to get info on the suspects and Public Storage would not cooperate. They wouldn't even give them the video footage they had. Overall, it was a terrible experience. I would never recommend this place to anyone. read more

She explained the terms and conditions, drove us to our unit to inspect it before we rented (and it was spotless and cool), and provided us with helpful answers to all of our questions. We were glad for her suggestions to protect the floor of our unit with plastic sheathing and to add DampRid to counteract any humidity issues (we're in the Deep South). This is really a review of the on site manager, and NOT Public Storage as a company. My only contact with the corporate side of Public Storage is those lovely post cards I receive every year telling me my rent is going up for NO reason. However, anyone who uses a storage facility knows the most important person on a day to day basis is the one you see each time you visit. Hilda Whitley, the manager, has always been a pleasure to deal with. She is clear, straightforward, and knowledgeable. Hilda always makes a point of saying hello or waving if she sees you. I've used other storage facilities where the manager is a disaster, and you just can't wait to pack your bags and get out. Hopefully, Public Storage realizes the importance of having a reliable manager because those postcards don't do much to warm my heart. read more

Well kept property Managers are always helpful However the light in my unit has never worked. Two different managers changed the bulb but that did not fix the light I was told sometime ago that there was a problem with the wiring. Property is well located and the units themselves. seem to be good. All of the locks were changed recently and the new ones look quite sturdy. read more

Debbie is awesome! She is the best at what she does. She is so nice and helpful. Me and my new wife rented a unit that we didn't find out was too small until we started moving in our items. Debbie went out of her way to call her District Manager to see if she could offer us a larger unit and with the $1 special. She was able to accommodate us on such a short notice.
