Jeremy and the crew were polite, careful and efficient. Zero complaints. From the sales process to the work itself, Wirks is top-tier. A+! Darren and our move back in crew were equally amazing. I can't speak highly enough of their courtesy and professionalism. read more

My experience with Wirk Moving what's amazing from start to finish. I quickly had a quote, and scheduled my appointment. They arrived right on time and the moving crew was friendly and very professional. We did a walk-through of the house talked about the different pieces of furniture and they went straight to work. When we arrived at my new home they took time to put everything exactly where I needed it even moved a couple of things as I changed my mind. Would highly recommend this company. read more

The office staff that handled estimate & booking were helpful and so responsive. Dwyane and Damonte were truly an all star team! When they arrived, I was still doing some last minute things but they got right to work after I showed them what was staying and going. They worked so quickly and were essentially non-stop! They were faster than the estimated move time which has truly NEVER happened across nearly a half dozen moves that I've made. They answered my questions and helped come up with solutions for the things that I was unsure about how to pack or transport. Dwayne seriously took my stress level down a few notches which was such a relief! They were professional and friendly. I was moving from a one bedroom apartment to a two bedroom townhouse so I wasn't sure where everything would go in the new place. They put everything where I asked and made adjustments without a problem when I changed my mind. By the time they left my house already felt like a home (with a little help from my brother-in-law who set up WiFi, mounted the TV and put things on my bookshelf) but the furniture arrangements were spot on and they even organized where I'm storing a bunch of holiday and travel stuff. If you need a mover Wirks is DEFINITELY the company! I truly can't say enough great things about those guys. 10 star rating! 5 isn't enough! So incredible and greatly appreciated! The price was totally fair. You get what you pay for when it comes to moving services and they guys earned every dime! read more

Wow! Best moving company! They made it simple and easy. The crew of Cody, Julian, and Jack as the movers did an absolutely incredible job not only moving our belongings but keeping them safe. Trash moving company. Not sure how they have such a high rating. They broke our refrigerator, my baby's dresser and our expensive china. Just found out they aren't giving us a dime back. SHAME ON YOU. Anecdote from one of the movers when he told us the baby dresser was broken "You can just saw off the other legs to make it even for the leg that broke off" - a dresser mind you we were using as changing table for our nine month old. We also paid more for this moving company because of the high reviews. Comical. OH also when they were moving us out of our house they put a hole in our wall, adding further stress to our move out process, the day before our closing. Never ever again would we use them. read more

I cannot say enough good things about WIRKS Moving & Storage. I recently moved my elderly, medically fragile parents from Ohio to Georgia, and what should have been a simple process turned into a nightmare when another moving company scammed my parents out of $2,500. We were devastated and unsure what to do next. WIRKS stepped in and completely saved us. From the very first phone call, their communication was outstanding. They kept in touch with me every single day, updating me on times, plans, and anything I needed to know. They were always on time, extremely organized, and treated my parents' belongings with the utmost care -- not a single broken item. What truly blew me away was the compassion and integrity of this company. The general manager, James, was so horrified by what had happened that he personally got involved. He even came out during the move-in here in Georgia to make sure everything went smoothly. WIRKS did something no company has ever done for us before -- they gave my parents the $2,500 back that the fraudulent company stole. I was in tears. They treated us like family, not customers. A huge thank-you as well to Trent and Tim, who were professional, kind, gentle with my parents' belongings, and genuinely cared about doing the job right. If you are looking for a moving company that is honest, reliable, compassionate, and goes far beyond normal service -- WIRKS Moving & Storage is the one. I would give them 10 stars if I could. read more

If you've ever wondered what it would be like to pay a moving company and still do all the moving yourself, look no further than Wirks Moving Company. Before the move, I provided a detailed inventory list of everything that needed to be moved. Apparently, the crew interpreted it as a "Choose Your Own Adventure" book and selected only the items that sparked joy for them. The rest were left behind for us to discover later. We also paid them to place furniture and boxes in designated rooms. Instead, they introduced us to an exciting new game called "Where the Heck Did They Put It?" Every room contained random furniture, mystery boxes, and enough confusion to qualify as an escape room. Several items were damaged. Screws disappeared. Furniture arrived in pieces. At this point, I assume the missing hardware is being sold separately on eBay. The team leader deserves special recognition. I've never seen someone work so hard at avoiding work. There was plenty of time for smoke breaks, attitude, and excuses, but somehow not enough time to complete the job we hired them to do. When we pointed out the mountain of items they left behind, his response was: "You guys need to stop adding things." That would've been a solid defense if we had actually added anything. Unfortunately for him, we have the original inventory list. The items he accused us of "adding" were literally on the list from the beginning. It takes a special level of confidence to blame the customer for your own inability to read. The grand finale was when we had to rent a U-Haul and finish the move ourselves. Nothing boosts customer confidence quite like watching a professional moving company leave while you're headed to rent your own truck to complete the job they were already paid to do. To summarize: Damaged furniture Missing screws Missing items Furniture placed wherever the movers felt inspired Endless smoke breaks Attitude included at no extra charge Had to rent our own U-Haul Had to finish the move ourselves Honestly, calling this a moving company feels inaccurate. They did move some things. The rest of the experience was more of a scavenger hunt, obstacle course, and team-building exercise designed to strengthen our marriage through shared frustration. If your dream is to pay thousands of dollars to become your own moving company, Wirks is the perfect choice. I'd leave zero stars, but apparently, just like our belongings, some things are impossible to recover. read more

After receiving several estimates and speaking with several moving companies, I selected Wirks Moving and Storage. From my encounter with Jim coming to my residence to perform a walkthrough, to watching the Wirks Moving and Storage depart after delivering my home's contents, I've been impressed and pleased! Jim was amazing! From speaking about what to expect for my interstate move to what Wirks could do for me, my concerns were addressed. Jim answered additional questions that came up after his initial visit and quote. Everything Jim said and told me to expect was brought to reality by Larry and his crews. Larry is a professional, courteous, and highly efficient professional. On packing day Larry and his crew worked quickly and carefully to pack my belongings for my out of state move. Larry asked questions, gave me advice, and made me feel like I was in good hands with him and his crews. On pickup day, everything was as efficient as the packing day. Everyone worked hard but carefully and loaded my belongings into the moving van. With a stop at my storage facility to retrieve additional items my pack up and departure was complete. My items were delivered as promised on the second day to my out of state residence. I was updated on arrival times at every phase of the process, and everything went as scheduled. Larry and a different crew unloaded and positioned my belongings as I directed. Everyone worked well together and seemed focused on customer service and satisfaction. Everything went smoothly with my move. From the initial meeting with Jim to the very end stage of delivery, Wirks Moving and Storage delivered not only my belongings, but also top notch customer service! Moving is a stressful process but Jim, Larry and Larry's crews alleviated much of that stress with professionalism and great customer service. Tony S read more

Carlos and Miguel did a move for is today from storage units to our house. Just saying how great they did does not convey what outstanding men they are. They were above and beyond in all aspects of the move today. I would not hesitate to recommend Wirks to anyone contemplating a move. The old saying of you get what you pay for is certainly true for Wirks, I paid what was quoted and am very pleased with the outcome. Way to go Wirks!! read more

Wirks did everything perfectly! Fair estimate, showed ip on time after a "call first" which we requested. They were very careful, efficient, and courteous. This is literally the worst moving company you can ever use. Please look somewhere else. Their business model is to bid low and screw you on the day of your move. They sent three guys and as soon as the furniture was loaded, one guy hurt himself and couldn't walk. So it ran very late, with just two guys. I spoke with Tim and James, the supposedly quality control guys and I was told that because it was so late, they would put everything in the garage and return in the morning to bring everything in the house. They called the next day to tell me no one was coming to complete the job. So I have all my furniture and boxes stuffed into my garage. Unbelievable. Very unprofessional. Please look somewhere else. read more

We decided to go with Wirks not because they were the least expensive they weren't, but because of the great reviews. I wish that would have been our experience! Like where should I begin! One of the problems is they lost an end table which I used every day.......LOST how do you loses a small table ( We moved from Roswell to Marietta). LOST !!! I still do not understand that. We have many broken or bent items, damaged drywall, boxes dropped and damaged. Broke both of our desks I mean really. But, I would say that wasn't the worst.....it was the employee who walked around swearing and acting odd and then questioned me on which boxes I want on which shelves. Really what an awful experience. BEWARE ! read more

Everything about our experience was great. From our first contact with Jim and then the team leads of Tim and Melvin who packed, drove, and unpacked, we were taken care of at every step. They made a stressful move from Atlanta to NJ feel seamless and truly put us at ease! If I ever had to move again and Wirks was available, I would use them in a heartbeat! read more

Second time using Wirks. They did a great job! Shey and Julian were on time, efficient, friendly, and took good care of my belongings.

The folks at Wirks were incredible from start to finish. The customer service was amazing. We had a challenging driveway that pictures just didn't show well and the move manager came out himself to see it (Jim) to ensure an accurate estimate and inform the movers on what they would be facing. Communication was frequent and they were flexible. Once the movers arrived Bryan and his crew were excellent. They took very care of our stuff and were very accommodating with specific Instructions. Each room was left set up the way we wanted for living in. They were so kind one of the workers even took a few moments to fix something that they did not break (a bed) so it would be safer for us. They were also very fast and just kept moving. Not a single person lingered or lolligagged (I'm old). I hope to never move again but if I do I am callling them. Thanks to everyone on the team. read more

The move went just ok, not as smooth as promised. One person seemed like to be from the actual company (good guy), other 2 were temp workers that showed up late (one with not much experience). Not a relaxing experience but not the worst. read more

From the first sales calls to final delivery Wirks was excellent. Every person I dealt with was friendly, helpful and efficient. My complicated move was well documented and their automated systems provided timely and useful reminders. On my two moving days Tim was my coordinator and everything went off without a hitch. These guys are also fast and careful. I had some old artwork that was handled with very professional care. Finally, these guys are pleasant. And moving is stressful. Wirks Moving and Storage - Wirks Moving Team with another satisfied customer! - Movers Near Me - Marietta, Georgia

Looking for a new moving company is always challenging so started the look a few weeks ago for a big move for me and based on my special needs- piano moving/lots of appliances , actually had another mover recommend Wirks. I'm in Flowery Branch near Gainesville so had never thought about a Marietta based company, but called for a quote and from the first moment- I knew this team had their act together. Rather than throwing out numbers, got on a facetime/zoom call and walked around my house and my mothers so their planner could get me an accurate quote. Very professional, very detailed, I walked around the house pointing out specifics of what I can get and they can get, tried to limit their "packing" and focus on the large stuff so got a quote in and decided to go with them. Very impressed!!! Got the quote over, they followed several times before arriving on time the planned day of move, showed up with 7 men, 2 trucks and we walked through the house and they were off to work. They didn't just wrap a couch or table, legs came off, all wrapped with blankets and clear wrap and they packed up the first house in less than a few hours( 4 bedrooms, 3 living rooms, washer dryer fridge, piano)- and were at the second location ready to go with one truck while the other went to my moms assisted living and packed her stuff up. What a job. No wasted time, focused, wow. Total ended up at 8 hours to move into a 5200 sq ft home, nothing broken, put it all where it belonged, super efficient, price was what he quoted. The attention to detail, genuine concern, and although I hope to never move again ( but prob will), I will go with Wirks. Highly recommend this team. Best movers I think I have every had in 40 years. Thanks Wirks for a great job and great team. read more

I was impressed with Wirks when I initially contracted them for a move. The team was absolutely killer with expert prep, packing and transport. Today's team was professional but my walls and ceiling took some hits that disappointed me and put me in a bad position with my new landlord.
