Day one of the move. We got started right on time at 9 AM. The communication has been excellent. Back Savers showed up with so many movers I almost lost count. 6 or 7 of the most clean cut, uniform wearing gentleman. They got to work right away helping me finish wrapping up odds and ends. I opted to provide the boxes and supplies needed for the move but I noticed that they did have extra supplies to wrap the couches etc. We are having to get the crew to come back out again tomorrow because I needed more storage. If I did have the extra storage space today they could have easily finished up today. These people are serious about getting the job done. I will complete my review tomorrow It is tomorrow William and team got it done. Very happy with every aspect and the final bill came in under the estimate. I can't say enough good stuff here. Moving is never fun, especially when the weather was greater than 100 degrees. I contacted The Back Savers with low expectations. I provided an itemized list of my possessions but they wanted a video. After lots of attempts, the google link worked. I had 2 different quotes from 2 different agents with an explanation. A 10% deposit is required to secure reservations, so I did that immediately. On Move day, the moving crew called 90 mins prior to let me know they were on the way. They showed up with 2 U-haul trucks, I thought Amateur hours and was a little apprehensive but I'm happy to report that they proved me wrong. I was quoted a 5 H move with 2 trucks and a 6 man crew. I got the 2 trucks & a 5 person crew. When the crew entered the house, saw the items I was taking, they went to work. The crew finished loading up the house quickly! They outpaced, over performed and over compensated even being down 1 member. We finished without me having to lift anything, pushed anyone & without damages or theft. It was wicked hot that day yet this crew worked moved like the weather didn't bother them. My only minor complaint was paying part of move and clear communication on how and what was acceptable. I paid $600 deposit in advance to secure my spot. The balance owed was adjusted because they were short a man. I went to BOA for cash but that was unnecessary as they take Zelle for payment. If I knew this earlier, I wouldn't have rushed to the bank even though I still had to make the trip for tip money. I was shocked at their speed offloading the truck so I had to rushed to make sure I was there with their well deserved tip. My moving crew was exceptionally efficient and professional. I was extremely happy with their performance especially because it was my first time using them. Would ABSOLUTELY hire again!! They provided full packing and moving services and did a great job. Not a single item was lost or broken. They arrived at 9am, packed a full 2 bedroom apartment, drove 1.5 hours to our new home, and unloaded all by 6pm. Payment was easy, all the guys were friendly and professional. The only constructive note I have is that there was a bit of confusion on the front end in terms of securing an accurate estimate. As requested, I provided very thorough walk-through videos of everything to be packed, but they seemed to not be able to keep up with those as I kept getting calls asking how many boxes to bring. In the end the move took about 3 hours longer than the original estimate, but as I said - the work was quality and well worth the price. It was serendipity that had me stumble upon The Back Saver Movers - I was actually looking for reviews for another moving company and stumbled upon the Back Saver Movers. I thank God that I did! Their price for moving me 117 miles from where I lived was MORE than reasonable. I had a three man team with a 26 foot truck (I was moving a one bedroom apartment). My ONLY regret is not noting the names of each gentleman that moved me, because they were each efficient, knowledgeable, professional, friendly, and courteous. They took PHENOMENAL care of all of my items, wrapped everything to ensure it was properly protected in transit, and were experts in taking my bed apart and putting it back together (I honestly had forgotten how to, and it had taken me six hours to put it together by myself). I can't recommend The Back Saver Movers ENOUGH. As a man that has moved many entire households by himself over the years and has multiple hernias to show for it, The Back Saver Movers TRULY saved my back, and made my move a much more pleasant experience than I could've EVER imagined (honestly, I have NEVER had a pleasant experience moving- until now!). From start to finish this company is a class act! I set up my move with Jason back in July not really knowing then how much I would come to rely on their service. My wife and I are in our 60s and thought we could do the packing ourselves and let The Back Savers come and do the "heavy lifting". We didn't realize how much stuff we have accumulated over 49 years of marriage! By the time moving day came (August 12, 2025) we were exhausted and had barely made a dent in everything we needed to pack. It was not a problem for William and his crew. Booked these guys last minute (same week as Christmas) for Jan 2nd and they were really great with working with my schedule. Showed up on time and got right to work! Moved really quickly with my stairs which I really appreciated. I had a 2 bedroom space with lots of pictures, a big sectional and TVs and they handled everything very carefully and even wrapped for me. The owner and his helper were very very polite and easy to communicate with. They even stopped for gas in between the location change, let me know via text, and docked 15 mins off the moving hours.
