Had a wonderful experience with Giovanni and Reese as my 2 person crew for a move done in April for a 1 bedroom apartment into 2 bedroom condo (~1200 sq ft). We had negotiated to a 2 person crew instead of the default 3 person due to limited number of items - they just moved my furniture, no boxes. I felt they had a reasonable hourly price, and they finished in just about 3 hours (the minimum time per moving contract). They took good care of my furniture, while still moving fast, and overall I had a great experience with them. Firstly, let me say this: I was not ready when they came to my house. When I first called 24/7 Movers I asked for a packing date of the 19th and a moving date of the 20th. The paperwork showed packing on the 18th & moving the 19th. When I called back she told me that was all they had available. I accepted it but I forgot to change my calendar. On the 18th the packers called my apartment. I was not ready, as I had planned to buy more boxes and do the majority myself. It was a 3 bdr & I had packed 2/3. I asked if they could come back & the leader said NO. So I gave them a tour & left. I asked if they could wrap my furniture as I had tons of moving blankets. They told me NO they have their own blankets & would the 19th. They packed super fast. I was not there to watch because of the date mixup. I did say DONT pack the kitchen. When I came home, they had packed the kitchen. This included the paper plates & cups that I had planned to use for the next day! The next day they arrived early & moved very quickly to empty out my storage unit. Next they drove very quickly to my apartment. They had 2 trucks which was unusual I've moved at least 6 times in the past 10 years & I've never seen 2. And I have significantly less stuff now. They were very careful to take photos of furniture that had knicks or that was already broken (which was good). I asked them to use my stickers that said "living room, dining room, bedroom, bath, etc" and label each box. They ignored me & used a black marker on each box. They loaded up the trucks & headed to my new house. As they uloaded the truck they moved quickly, but it took a while. I GASPED When I got the bill! The amount due was double what I've ever paid.  And I moved many times in LA.  I had 8 storage units at one time.  I donated 4 storage units before moving to Atlanta.  I never needed two trucks or spent over $1200 for a local move. I accepted it as they insinuated I should be grateful that the owners proactively added a 2nd truck. For 3 bedrooms and a 10×10 storage unit? Now at almost $300/hour I expect to be DELIGHTED.  Not just with the speed but with the care of my goods. And it bothers me every time I look at my stainless steel electric garbage can & see the dents, or the scratches on my compost container. Or the broken spindle on my antique lamp.  It bothers me that my artwork ladies legs were mangled in a box. Items had so many small nicks and dents because they either didn't have enough blankets or just didn't care. But it bothers me MOST that I found at least 16 boxes that were clearly labeled "bedroom" that they just dumped into the 1st floor laundry.  The room closest to the truck. They stacked the boxes to the ceiling in there & didnt say a word. They asked me to check their work. I didn't see the markers on all of the boxes to correct them.  But you knew they said bedroom.  So I had 16 boxes in my laundry room that I had to ask some guy friends to move. That just pissed me off. I really took my time online to research and find the right company.  If all I wanted was "fast" they might have met my needs.  If I didn't use them to pack they might have met my needs. If everything had been packed and wrapped so they didn't dent stuff, then they might have met my needs.  But since they didn't pack and wrap everything appropriately I now have to see the disappointing  remnants of a $3000 local move. The stuff that transported the best? It was the stuff I packed myself earlier in the week and moved in my SUV. So glad I followerd my gut with my glassware and framed art. Phew!! The crew were very kind.  The guy in charge?  He had the personality of a can of paint and seemed offended that I gasped at the final price.  Even after I tipped he didn't say thank you.  He just walked out. If not gaslighting it was again a lack of personality or ability to say the words thanks for the $3000. We appreciateyour business.. I hope this review helps someone.  If your stuff isn't wrapped and packed well, you will see the damage every day after. read more

I cannot say enough good things about 24/7 Moving! Moving is stressful enough, but 24/7 Moving made it as stress-free as possible. Melvin, Luis, and Mario were assigned to help with our move. They were professional, respectful, and punctual. We moved from another state back to Georgia. We weren't very pleased with the first movers who packed our house and loaded our truck. We drove the truck ourselves. 24/7 Moving put their packing to shame! Melvin and his team used their furniture protection materials to ensure safe transport of our items, and took the time necessary to ensure proper preparations before loading furniture. They even re-did some of the previous mover's packing job. They arrived on time at our first location where they carefully wrapped an upright piano, dining room set, and an arm chair and loaded them on their truck. They also loaded some boxes we had already packed. Then, they headed to our second location, a storage unit and loaded everything on the same truck. Finally, they headed to our final destination, our house in Cumming. Once at our home to unload, the team laid down floor protection to ensure they respected our floors. They worked efficiently. They moved a 2000+ square foot fully furnished home safely in a 26 ft box truck and finished within 7 hours, which included the transportation between two pick-up locations as well as the hour drive in between. The price was very reasonable and it included materials and the truck. We are so impressed and grateful for 24/7 Moving! High recommend! read more

We had put a deposit on a move, Our closing on our new house was moved. I found out this information on a Monday. I immediately called 24/7 movers to change our move date from Wednesday to a later date. They stated they would not move forward unless I paid another deposit of $600 because of their 3 day notice rule. even if I had known on Sunday, I would not have been able to let them know because they were closed. I will not pay them another deposit, because of the circumstance they should have just set up another move date. I do not recommend this company. read more

The Worst Moving Experience Ever! They literally broke my vintage (circa 1940s) solid teak dining table in half, and two of the table leg underneath. Then they tell me they "just" decided the disassemble it without asking or consulting me. This was not furniture from IKEA! My table is ruined and they want me to be fine with it. This was more than an accident -- Who would do this? I will follow up with more detail and pictures later, because I am still processing what happened. I have no words except Bryant was the worst, he had his earphones on the entire time, ignoring my questions and concerns, and the others on the team. 24/7's First Lie... My storage unit was not 10x10, it was 10x15, and they disassembled it before they arrived to the Storage facility -- not to mention 2 broken legs. Pictures are to come. UPDATE - Since Daniel (owner) is not responding and may have blocked all of my messages, I am sending my message through Google Maps: "I need to know what you're gonna do about my solid teak wood dining table, which was in one piece when your company arrived to move my belongings and is now in at least 5 pieces, you can no longer define it as disassembled when 2 of the two legs are broken and one missing, the bolts and the screws were left loose and discarded just sitting on the ground -- Exactly who and how will my dining table be repaired. When I went back to my unit on Saturday I found another 2 unrecognizable pieces thatI can only guess belongs to my dining table. Not to mention all of the other negligence that occurred during my move. The way your men handled my property, specifically Bryant and Yusof, I am afraid of how much damage I will find when I move out of my unit in 3 months. As for the "Discount" you me, lets not forget that was given due the your men's milking billable time including charging for the time they took for lunch. Second, before we left for the storage unit I asked Bryant to let me inside my coat closet so I could give him my coats that were ready to go down to the garage. I handed my coats with a black trash bag draping over them and a hanger sticking out and asked him to take it to the garage. It was the last thing that we took out. My coats or nowhere to be found. They were my winter coats and I need them. That means you're stuck somewhere in the middle of that unit. This is the issue I had with Bryant during the entire move, he ignored me , he pretended to not hear me, and he kept his ear plugs in, which slowed down the process And made the process even more stressful. And when I could get his attention apparently he chose to do what he wanted to do instead. These are my winter coats and I need them, And I need to hear back from you immediately! Update: 24/7 IS LYING ABOUT THE SIZE OF MY STORAGE UNIT -- THAT IS SOMETHING THAT CAN EASILY BE PROVEN WITH CUBESMART!! My storage was a 10'x15' as was recommended for a 2BR Apartment, and I didn't even move the whole apartment (No Washer & Driver or any other large appliances, and I had less furniture and other items than I had the first the moved). I was still packing some of my clothes that was not going into the truck or storage, but they milked a 5 hour move into 9 hours, and charged me for the lunch they took. And they were missing in action and not answering their phones for over an hour. They were taking so long to move things into my 10'x15" storage unit I missed the 3 hour window for the help needed to move my belongings from me car to move into my temporary location. I waited as long as I could but I had to leave before it was dark outside and move the items in my car by myself. Two of the three movers (Bryant & Yusof) were lazy and did not want to work, nor take directions from me of the third mover who seemed be more experienced. I had to do so much work myself during the move I was left with at least 10 bruises just on my legs and thighs. I am a 60 year old women, and I was taking items downstairs with them, I had to beg for them to take the heavier items. Bryant & Yusof had a bad attitude from the start and they refuse to take everything I needed them to take out of the apartment, and when I turned I had to pay some day-laborer's to finish removing my things. Even when I put my Winter Coats and Jackets directly into Bryant's hands, he tried to ignore me and my request, when I asked him to just take it to the garage. They ALL knew that everything going down to the garage would NOT be going to the storage unit. I hired them the first time in August of 2020 because the had a 5-Star review, and the were location from my hometown in Mableton. They literally broke two my red leather armchairs and my Bowflex Max Trainer and one whole box was never recovered. I patiently worked with them, and ultimately the fixed all of these major items. I kept calling these guys miracle workers b/c they were able to pack everything from my 1600 sq ft townhouse into a 16' pod container. When the pod container from another company arrived the day before, like Wanda J's experience, I almost had a panic attack b/c it looked like my container might not be big enough. I prayed, my friends prayed, I also started thinking of a back-up plan just in case. When the 24/7 moving crew arrived promptly the next morning, they did a quick walk-through and felt like they could do it. And they did -- in 2.25 hours! Hallelujah -- Wanda J made a Tetris reference in her review and that was exactly what I thought when Melvin (the lead) was packing all my stuff in every nook & cranny, and I joked with him about whether their job applicants have to score high on Tetris to get a job with 24/7 Moving. My crew was EXCELLENT, SO EFFICIENT, VERY NICE and WORKED SO WELL TOGETHER -- shout-out to Melvin, Alejandro, Reyes and Juan Carlos! Thank you! They will shrink-wrap all your cushioned furniture (e.g., sofa, recliners, mattresses), and blankets for your hard furniture (e.g., flatscreen TV, tables, glass tabletops) ... in my case I purchased the blankets since I was using the pod container. They will also dissemble your furniture (e.g., bedframes). Pricing is around $179/hr -- 2hr minimum on Mon-Fri, and 3hr minimum Sat-Sun. Plus $120 trip fee. And of course please tip your movers. FYI if you're doing a pod container, reserve your pod first before reserving the movers. And book early for both -- end of month books fast! read more

They move slooooowwwww as snails. They wanted to break every single item down to gain more time. They did not put most of the items back together. I had to re-do some of the furniture that they so called put together. I do not recommend these movers at all!!! They use the box cutter to remove the stretch wrap and slit my stool and did not even say anything about it. I definitely will not be using these movers again!! What a wonderful experience we had with 24/7 Moving. A last minute decision to hire movers for my son's relocation to a smaller apartment was made easier with choosing this firm. After confirming an arrival time of 12:00, the team came 15 minutes early ready to work. In less than two hours Brian, Alfonso, and Edwin packed, wrapped, and loaded all the furniture into their spacious truck. The new place was only four miles away, but these guys knew their stuff. Unloading took less than an hour where they reassembled and located furniture where it was asked. All along they were professional and pleasant. A) I had SEVERAL broken items, pictures attached. B) I paid my deposits and was scheduled to move with them on 10/19, the day I was scheduled to close on my house. They were storing my belonging S between the closing of one property and the next. I was the only move scheduled for the 19th and they and they assigned me a morning move time. My closing time wasn't confirmed so I called to inform them of that and he said once I had a time I just needed to call back. I called back and spoke to the owner Daniel once my closing time was confirmed and he said they could not accommodate me that afternoon, even though my move was the only move scheduled that day! I asked what else was available and he said the afternoon of the 20th from 2 to 4pm, the exact time I needed on the 19th. Very perplexed, I asked why I could not schedule that time frame on the 19th rather than the 20th. Daniel did not have a good answer and just kept repeatedly informing me it was against company policy to schedule and afternoon move when there wasn't a morning move! He had no good reason and just kept stumbling over his words! I explained that had a work obligation on the 20th flying out of town, so I really needed to get moved in on the 19th or I would have to wait another week because their schedule was full and the next day available was a weekday so I'd have to miss more work! I then just asked to cancel so I could hire other movers and he said they don't allow anyone else in their warehouse and that basically he was holding belongings hostage! I had read good reviews about this company but come to find out they are a business with very poor customer service! read more

I presage (or more like hope like hell) that we have another move in our future. AT and I are trying to keep up an average of moving once per year in our relationship. The movers themselves are quite punctual (and call you prior to arriving) and careful with your (or at least my) stuff. I've had no damage to my things from either move. The office people who coordinate payment and the moving itself are friendly and professional and follow up to make sure the process went as expected. Their pricing is fair and convinces me that paying them to transport my shiz is money more than well spent. You end up actually paying with your card with the movers, who use Square (or some similar thing). You get an itemized receipt and walk away feeling like 24/7 Moving is a well-oiled machine. We just worked with 24/7 for my parent's massive move, and we all couldn't be happier. This is the fourth person in our family to use them, and we've all consistently had amazing experiences, which is hard to find when it comes to moving. Federico and Brian (and I'm sorry, but I can't remember the four other names) were phenomenal! My parents are 80 and had been in the same house for 30 years, so it was a hard move. He explained everything to me in detail during our initial walk through and throughout the move, kept me looped in when he or is team came across a questionable item to move--I was in a hurry to pack up my stuff and there were some odd items. They also took the time to wrap any items that needed extra coverage--never have hired movers who cared about this! And they properly moved a stand up piano plus a king sized TempurPedic mattress with no scratches or dragging. My wife had set up the team and I panicked when I saw it was just 2 guys. I had never used professional movers before. I thought it would take forever. Once they got there, my worries were relieved. Used these guys on a recent move from my apartment to a townhome. They arrived early and with 3 men to do my move. I've moved several times before, I know the real key is to already be packed and if you can move small things on your own otherwise they take forever to move and thats more money. With this in mind, I had already moved over most of the items that would fit in my car and only left the movers the big items (beds, couches, tv, dressers). The company has a 2 hr minimum, so I told the lead guy my intention was to do 2 hrs and no more. Move was smooth and relatively short. Total time came in at 2 hours and 15 minutes (though it was like 2 hours and 3 minutes, but they rounded up to 15 minutes). That rounding up cost me an additional $40 bucks, so they lose a star for that. read more

Since my original 03/2012 review, I used this company again in 04/2013 and just now in 01/2017. The two subsequent experiences were as excellent as the first. My latest move was unusual in that I had to move a few rooms' worth of furniture from Atlanta to NYC, and I had gotten wildly varying quotes ($3k to $25k) from large commercial movers that all seemed to have terrifyingly negative online reviews and no real accountability in terms of transparency of pricing and reliable pickup and dropoff dates. The guys at 24/7 recommended that I hire them to fill a PODS container for me, get the container moved from Atlanta to NYC, and then hire another similarly well-reviewed moving company to unload the container for me once in NYC. This is exactly what I did, and the result was perfect. Like actually perfect. The total price (24/7 + POD + NYC movers) ended up being just under $5k, I was able to nail down a pickup date and delivery date, and all of my stuff arrived undamaged and complete. EVERYBODY should move like this. I owe a huge thanks to the 24/7 guys for recommending a PODS move with pro help on the loading and unloading ends. read more

Will admit, my history with moving companies has been hit or miss at times and I'd never heard of 24/7. I was somewhat skeptical but after some online research including BBB and a few other sites this appeared to be a solid Moving/Delivery service. My experience was 4-star, they were extremely professional. I felt the team from 24/7 provided clear communication. 24/7 was thorough from the beginning through their scheduling process, as well as move day. They communicated timely and stuck to their arrival time. Once they arrived we completed a walkthrough before the move as to scope the work and for to provide a better estimate of completion time. Great movers for a good price. I moved a 5-bedroom + basement home in June. The owner himself came to my home we were moving from and gave me an estimate.
