My electrical breaker kept going out because the builder used a 40 amp circuit breaker instead of a 50 amp circuit breaker for my air conditioner unit. The maker of the circuit breaker I needed was Eaton. I could not find a Eaton 50 amp circuit breaker in Home Depot, Lowes, or any other electrical shop in the area. My neighbor, Daniel, from ProFlo Air, was able to find the 50 amp circuit breaker and install it for me. This was my first time meeting Daniel and he did not hesitate to help me. This company is horrible. Had an appt today for 8 am. My land lord informed them that I need to leave by 8:10 to get to work in time. They promised to come by 8 am so that they can get inside and start the work before I left. This guy Brian shows up at 8:20. When I ask him about the appointment time, he doesn't care and arrogantly tells me that it's a suggested time and they can't control for traffic. WTF! I live in ND and ProFlo came up from CA to "help" after a record breaking flood. There were many stories of people being taken by greedy contractors. I thought there was no way this was going to happen to me. Long story short Bryan Todd, who said he was the owner of the company sold me on putting a water heater in my house. I was charged for the water heater (which I heard cost roughly $400 for contractors) $1600 and they only put it in place. No hook up. This was a year and a half ago (as of Aug '13). They have skipped town back to CA. I have reached Bryan since and he says he will square up with me and make things right but I have yet to see any money or compensation in any way. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. If their work was good enough they wouldn't have needed to travel across the US for more jobs. Update as of 2 Jan 14. BEWARE! I talked to Bryan on the phone and he said he saw my post on this site. He asked me to reconsider keeping this post on the internet. We agreed that if he actually was a man of his word and finally repaid me for the water heater that still sits worthless in my basement I would retract my statement. I still stand by that agreement but it seems Bryan does not care. I spoke to him in November and he said I should expect to see a check very soon. NO CHECK... Weird. He always says he wants to make his customers happy any way he can. Well, to say I have been dissatisfied is not quite enough. I have been lied to, betrayed and then lied to again and again and again. If you use this company they may seem nice and if you're lucky they will finish a job appropriately. However, If you EVER experience further problems I wish you luck. It has been 2.5 years since they swindled me out of approximately $1,000 and still nothing has been done. My heater wouldn't run so I looked on Yelp to find someone local to come out and take a look. I called Pro Flo and Bryan Todd, the owner, came out within a couple of hours. Because my A/C had flooded the unit earlier in the summer he said it would be better to replace it rather than repair it. I agreed and his son and another guy came out the next day to do the work. I don't really have any complaints with the work that was done. My problem is with other things. My unit is in the garage so I asked them to keep the door to the house closed so my dog wouldn't get out. He got out 3 times. After that I locked him in a bedroom. I guess I should have done that after the first time. After they left both my garage door and my house alarm system didn't work. I called them right away and was told that they had pulled the cord on the garage door because it kept opening - the button to open the door is right near the furnace unit. They had unplugged the alarm and did not plug it back in when they were done. These were 2 easy fixes but I was a little annoyed that they didn't take care of it before they left. My only other complaint was that they left debris all over my garage floor. I saw that they had a broom - I just wish they'd used it. read more

Exceptional experience!! I called on a Saturday afternoon for service. The business, open on a weekend, was answered by a professional employee able to accommodate my request for immediate service. So far I was hopeful for my provided time slot to be on time. I was shocked when I received a text at 11:48 stating my serviceman was due in 23 min. This was clearly on time in the 12:00-2:00 time slot given. Then the serviceman "Danny" got right to work and identified the issue. It was done so quickly I went out to check in and he was out front putting his tools away. Amazing service, prompt responses and clean work. my mothers furnace went out and they came out to fix it. quoted her $1,000.00 to fix it but would not quarantine the work. the fix didn't last 5 hours and quit working again and they said she needed a new furnace for 5,800.00. they also would not give credit on the $1,000.00 she had already spent. got a quote from another company for the new furnace at 2,800.00 and gave them the contract. they did great work and installed on a Sunday because it was really cold. I really love these guys! We have had them out several times over the last few years to service out AC and repair a duct through the roof for a range hood. We are selling our home and the buyer's home inspector was a dummy. He measured the air temperature coming out of the vents with and infrared thermometer which is WRONG. What he should have done is used a temperature probe. So it was no surprise that the buyers wanted the system repaired thinking that the air coming out was not as cool as it should be. Danny from ProFlo took a look at the system and immediately knew nothing was wrong. Checked everything anyway, annotated the results in the invoice and even let me take pictures of the temp on the probe in several places around the house. Danny was great, didn't try to sell anything to me that I didn't need and offered a few suggestions on what could be done to improve the system, but also noted that there is nothing mechanically wrong. I would like to add a follow up to my review, so it would help others when deciding to change A/C. We just had another 100F day and it was a real test for how the A/C will perform. The new unit is 30% more efficient than old one by specs. Energy efficiency was not a major factor for us. But compared to similar 100F day with old unit, the electric usage was cut in half. Yes, in half. From 36.5Kwh with old unit, usage for the day with new unit was 16Kwh. Temp is always set to 74F in house, and solar has produced similar energy both days of 37Kwh. So the savings can be contributed to the new A/C unit. read more

Just moved into our home and installed a new Nest thermostat. I remembered to shut off the "Air Conditioner" power but forgot to shut off the Forced Air Unit (FAU) switch. The white wire sparked and I lost power to the thermostat. Since I knew I turned off the AC power I did not know what was wrong so I called ProFlo and they said someone was in the area doing service and they would come by. I wish I remember his name but I forgot, I was on a conference call and he came in went straight to the air unit in the attic, came down in about 1 min and when I asked how much, he said "no charge, just leave a Yelp review" I feel bad I did not remember his name but I was expecting 100-150 dollars just for a service call.
