Short version: This company is excellent. Danny, who did our consultation and quote is simply amazing. Had them install (2) HVAC systems. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Long Version: Our HVAC went out just as summer was hitting. Upstairs completely dead, downstairs on it's last leg Ouch. I actually own a general contracting company, but not in Riverside County. So I had to interview and vet HVAC companies from scratch. Advanced HVAC was the 2nd contractor we met with in our home. Danny was simply outstanding. HONEST, thorough, expert. He was patient and provided different options based on our budget. NOTE TO OWNER OF ADVANCED AIR OWNERSHIP: whatever you are paying this man is not enough - give him a raise. When Danny left after about 90 minutes, our decision was made. We were going with Advanced Air. Pricing was clear, upfront and VERY competitive. Unfortunately, I can't say that about the other contractors we met with. Notes about pricing: as a Contractor myself, I have the ability to understand approximately how much these HVAC contractors are marking up their labor and materials. An unscrupulous contractor may attempt to charge 50% or 100% more than another one for the EXACT SAME system. Do not fall for this. At the same time though, a quality contractor like Advanced Air has the right to cover all of their costs AND earn a fair profit for their TIME AND EXPERTISE. As a homeowner, the quality of installation should matter to you just as much as the materials. I recommend looking for a FAIR price but not necessarily the LOWEST price. Advanced Air delivers in both respects. Once the scope of work was final, we scheduled the install. It was actually (2) units, one for upstairs and one for downstairs. The team was obviously experienced. Austin, Johnny and Mike immediately split up and went to work. By the end of the day we had COLD AIR flowing out of all the air ducts - sooo nice. The team went through a brief checklist with me confirming what tasks were done. Loved that professional touch. The work areas were left CLEAN and tidy. About a week after the install, I had a small concern. (Keep in mind that I am picky). Advanced Air IMMEDIATELY scheduled a service call. The tech was experienced and efficient. Issue was resolved on the spot. I highly recommend this company and would absolutely use them again. read more

We just had an air conditioner replaced by Advanced Heating and Air. Austin, Mike and Johnny were the technicians that were working on the project. Upon arrival, we requested they use tarps to protect the carpet and also be careful to shut the door so that our cats don't get outside Besides honoring our request, they did an excellent job. They' cleaned the attic around the air conditioner and vacuumed the carpet. They did a system check before leaving We couldn't be happier with the service and professionalism of the three technicians and also of the office staff (Crystal). Advanced hit the mark. They arrived on time and quickly diagnosed my AC problem. They knew what they were doing, methodologically moving from one process to another until they found and corrected the air flow problem in my system in the attic. Even though I was apprehensive about this, not once did I feel they were trying to up-sell me some BS diagnosis, straight shooters, highly recommend! In and out in less than an hour, awesome! As for the chick complaining about the part she found on Amazon for $15, get over it, do you really want to run the risk of installing some high voltage part yourself and getting electrocuted, or have a professional do the job, these guys have to make money too, they have overhead and profit to make, get over yourself!!! I already paid for the annual maintenance, which includes the technician's time, experience, and diagnosis that's exactly what the maintenance fee is for. On our phone call yesterday, you mentioned you didn't feel like bringing the filters I already paid for because of my review. And even though your technician didn't finish the maintenance service, I've decided to leave things as they are. But I absolutely would not recommend your business to anyone else. When you called me, it wasn't about making things right, it was simply: take down the review, I'll take my part back, and we go our separate ways. And now in your response here, you're saying you'll "always be here if I need assistance in the future"? That just feels insincere. Also, you mention that the value comes from training and experience to know what's wrong and why. Again, that's what the annual maintenance fee covers, which I already paid. Your technician told me the part wasn't working and that he couldn't finish. There was no breakdown. I was simply told the part cost $325. That is not transparency. They came out three different times to address the same issue. Unfortunately, even after all three visits and the repair cost, the original issue was still not resolved. I normally don't leave reviews, but I feel like this situation deserves to be shared so others are aware. My wife scheduled an annual maintenance service for our AC, which we paid for upfront. When the technician came out, he said a part wasn't working and told my wife it would cost $325. There was no breakdown of labor vs. part cost just $325 for the part. Later, we found that exact same part online for around $15. We understand companies have overhead and charge for expertise that's not the issue. The issue is transparency and how this situation was handled. What really disappointed me was that when my wife left an honest review about her experience, the owner called her not to make things right, but to tell her to take the review down and he would come back, remove the part, and refund her the money.  That's not good customer service, that's just bad business. We're not interested in doing business with this company again, and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone else. read more

The heat pump part of my A/C unfortunately died from a power outage. I called and Steve came out the next day, diagnosed my problem in minutes. He had to order a new heat pump. So, remarkably, within a day of my service visit from Daniel, my old AC compressor completely failed. We're having 90 plus degree temperatures with triple digits in the next few days and high humidity. Absolute misery to try to sleep in. Daniel was able to arrange for an installation within one day of my signing off on the proposal. I found the total cost reasonable and a large work crew of at least 6 technicians showed up this morning a little earlier than expected and got right to work. Everyone was clean, polite and professional. They installed my new 5-ton compressor and coil in the attic in about two and a half hours and did nice, professional work. My home is in the process of cooling down to a comfy 70° as I write this. The new compressor is much quieter and at least twice as efficient as the one it replaced. It's very disappointing to leave this 1 star review but It is important for me to leave my honest review based on my experience. I reached out to Advanced Heating and Air Conditioning to get a quote on lifting my ac condenser 4 inches off the ground. I received a prompt response from Denise, who was very nice and provided me with a quote after gathering all of my information. After reviewing various quotes from other companies, I decided to hire them. I was given a date and time (11am-1pm). That day when 1pm came no one showed up, and I received no status update so I reached out to Denise at 1:15pm to confirm that the techs were still coming. I don't see why me the customer has to reach out to get my own updates and communication on why or when the techs will show up. She then apologized and said "my guys are running a little behind, they should arrive around 3pm." Again, I proceed to wait and understood that stuff happens however 3pm comes by then 4pm and they finally showed up at 4:15pm! The guys were very friendly and honest workers I don't knock them for it or their work because it's not their fault. This more so falls on the business itself for the lack of communication and empathy. I had to miss work and I asked for an inconvenience discount of $25 which was denied by the "owner." Denise as the manager should have authority to override and honor this. I myself work in customer service and this was just a horrible experience. They lost a future customer over $25... incredibly disappointing how they were very quick to get my business and once things go sour (because of their lack of communication) they refuse to do things right. read more

Upon first inspection they said I needed a gas valve replacement. Long story short: Advanced HVAC are legit. I'm very glad I used them, and I highly recommend them to others. Long story a little longer: Our central furnace stopped working. A few companies came out to try and diagnose it over the course of a few cold weeks. Some gave up. Some gave me a quote for a new system. Only Advanced were able to actually provide evidence of what was actually wrong and why a new sysem was the right choice. It wasn't a hard sell at all (I hate hard-sells). Just an honest recommendation with an honest quote from a couple honest employees. That's why I hired them, and I'm very glad I did. I ended up going for a full overhaul. My house is built in a way that made this install very complicated, but they took care of everything professionally and on time. Even though there were some minor complications beyond their control, they stuck with me and did everything they could until things were working perfectly, without hassle. As a perfectionist, I really appreciated that. I should have written this out way back then, but forgot.
