    A regrettable update to my former glowing review - and why I would avoid Todd of "Western Air Conditioning Inc." I urge anyone to read this before hiring this clown. Him and I had a severe disagreement on the job he did (for brevity sake). This review won't focus on the work he did - but on his people skills and his attitude. The first red flag was - he never sized the unit - he bought it and then kinda just stood like a deer in headlights when it never fit through our entryways on time of install. He should have sized it like a professional...but shocker...the first major red flag indicating Todd isn't ...well: a real professional in my opinion. The issues however - began AFTER he installed the unit. When the A/C unit was blowing hot air - he made me wait 2 weeks cause he was booked, even though he should give priority to existing installs. I'm guessing it's because he makes zero dollars on a warranty call as opposed to selling people more Goodman units which may be for a profit/commission on actual service calls. Now - the real issue with Todd: his attitude - imagine a manchild basically. Shocking, I know! That a sole business owner would have an attitude..HMMM Perhaps this is why he runs his own business! So that there's no accountability for his demeanor/attitude? My opinion of course about solely him. Plenty of people run sole-owned businesses with class and decorum. Initially - when I told Todd the A/C blew lukewarm - he seemed to treat me like I didn't know what I was talking about - as if he or someone needs to go to Harvard to stick probes into vents. At one point he even texted me with "Well, you seem to be a technician" sort of jargon. His ego is insanely inflated in my opinion - and he does not like it when concerns of a constructive nature from customers are brought up, even if I made it abundantly clear I am not trying to be an expert in this. The amount of times he had to come out to deal with this would have had most people kind of throw their hands up and give up - but not me. Again his final visit - he was in denial the whole time there's an issue. When I inquired about something he simply replied "I don't know you tell me. You tell me why." (implying I think I know everything just because I'm bringing up valid points here of concern). Again - that whole "you think you're the expert" thing is tiresome - and he's full of that attitude if you dare even inquire about 1 legitimate question that may challenge his viewpoint or preconceived notions. When someone with a huge overinflated ego with delusional levels of confidence seems to think they know everything and nothing can ever be their fault - you usually have to hit them with the harsh truth. How do you explain the UPSTAIRS Unit barely being on 3 hours to reach 72F which is what the DOWNSTAIRS UNIT CAN'T EVEN DO LOGICALLY despite the upstairs unit being years older and it being hotter up there? A real long pause from Todd, visible frustration - because in my opinion he knew he couldn't snakesoilman / BS his way out of that one. He didn't respond - and I inquired again "How do you explain the upstairs unit working better and faster than the brand new downstairs unit where it's generally colder?!?!" Todd snapped "OK if you're gonna raise your voice, I'm walkin' outtah here!" Yes - my voice slightly raised because his condescending BS gets to you out of frustration - but I know I held back a lot compared to most people if they were in my situation dealing with his stupidity. Highly unprofessional, but at this point I expected nothing less from Todd. Not surprising he couldn't answer it - because there IS NO GOOD ANSWER to that. An in-depth dive on the company we made the check to "Western States Property Services Inc" - SHOCKER - they don't exist. Furthermore - Western Air Conditioning Inc. on Google is stated as located on "29701 Collier Ave, Lake Elsinore, CA 92530" - an address in the middle of a road - where there is no building - just an ARCO near the deserted Outlet Mall by the freeway. He also apparently has a Fontana location inside a health clinic "16854 Ivy Avenue, Fontana CA 92335"! This should tell you A LOT about Todd - the fact he doesn't list a real address for his business is suspicious to me! I'm sure it would be to many people... Furthermore - the California Licensure board shows no valid license for Todd - aka he's not licensed - a major red flag. Check out the images of him telling someone off who criticized his prices. Check out a former review buried deep of someone mentioning his poor attitude. Yikes. As it currently stands - Todd I am sure you're reading this and the tiny wheels in your small mind are turning up a dumb and incomprehensible answer to my review. Guess what, too little too late - I don't care. I'm sure you know everything, though

    Frosty never fails. They have saved our A/C in 2022 and this past week. They are as honest as they come! And excellent fast service!!!

The technician was here for some time until he "found the issue", but before he did, he tried to sell us on a new unit, stating it was recommended because our unit was not going to last much longer. Our home is only 13 years old, so we proceeded only to do the suggested repairs: a small leak which he taped up and added some freon, which cost $1,600. Exactly two weeks later our AC stopped working again. It was the same issues of the house not cooling, so I knew it had to be the same issue. They sent Adam out the same day. After analyzing the unit he stated, verbatim, that the previous tech "was not honest with us and performed a repair that basically didn't do anything to fix the issue". He even said it was like "filling up a tire with air that has a bunch of nails in it". Mind you, he also stated the first technician no longer works for them. Adam stated the leak was actually much bigger and not what the first tech had even touched. He said however, that our "only" solution was a new unit that would cost $16-18k. This whole process took about 10 minutes at the most, which made the first visit even more bizarre as the first tech was here for a couple of hours and was in and out of the attic, house, etc. At this point we were honest and let Adam know we were thinking about it and going to get a second opinion. We had a senior HVAC tech (who also specializes in commercial HVAC) come out a few days later. He told us a new unit is NOT necessary and FIXED our issue. He also stated that our unit looks good for another 15 years and was actually in great condition. My husband has been trying to get a refund and after 3 weeks, we are still being given the runaround, are being avoided, and have not been refunded. He requested the refund based on the fact that not only did they misdiagnose the issue the first time- but a second time, as again, we were told it was not repairable. My husband has talked to 4 different people all who say the same thing or offer a new "supervisor" to talk to. Yet we never get a call back and my husband just continues to contact them instead. 6/23 he called, and was then called back by Richard from a blocked number. He was very unprofessional and was telling my husband: "things don't work that way" and that they "have to meet in the middle" and that whatever my husband was stating was "here-say". This company not only falsely analyzed the issue once, but twice, as two different techs were not honest on two separate occasions. That, and I would have been conned out of $16-18k. Not to mention I've had to pay for proper repairs, now costing me more than double regardless. My AC is now working great with no issues after having another party repair it. I have pictures, video, and receipts of everything that was performed by my new tech to ensure that my machine was repairable despite what the company had said. I plan on taking the company to small claims court immediately, as no one has cared to resolve the issue and they refuse to have the owner call us. Had I seen a couple of other people here have had this issue also- I would have never used them! It's a shame we almost fell victim to a sales scheme.

I knew it would be around 6 weeks to get someone here. The first guy I spoke with said the earliest he could get a technician out would be, "sometime in OCTOBER." I told him that was unacceptable and to please connect me with a manager. That person then passed me off to another person. Customer Service person #2 never confirmed my name or contact information. She stated WeCare was, "just at your house in May" (Wrong! They were here on January 23rd!) and that they have, "called and called and left voice mails and you never bother to call us back." I kept asking if she had the right person and repeatedly demanded that she QUIT TALKING OVER ME and listen to me. This went on for several minutes, her accusing me of just having had the company here and also not returning their calls. I raised my voice and said, "You have the wrong person! Look at my almost five full years of plumbing/HVAC service with your company!" She replied, "Laura, do NOT raise your voice to me!" Um, people, I am NOT LAURA. The rudest customer service, ever. I am shocked at how WeCare, Temecula's customer care has absolutely nosedived. This woman accused me of so many things and SHE HAD the wrong person. She refused to take the time to confirm my contact information and service history with this company. Outraged.
