When you want Prompt Professional &Honest, this is the company for you. With so many Septic Companies to pick from these folks performed with an estimate in a timely fashion. Not only that they were honest where as another Septic Company gave us a Bid for 32k for a supposed collapsed septic system and a hefty $650 fee for supposed camera that detected all of that. What a Line of B.S. that was. Thankfully, we were taking bids and these folks, Low and Behold found after further review, it wasn't a collapsed septic system just a 10' damaged pipe. Wow !!! I can see why they have under a 3 start rating for their reviews. We called for a tank to be emptied and they only emptied half the tank. We had it pumped two months ago and are having issues. They never alerted us that only half the tank was emptied. The only way we knew was we had another company come out who alerted this to us. We called back and they played stupid saying we should know more than them who does this for a living. They offered a 75.00 credit even though we paid to have the whole tank pumped. I didn't pay for half a tank to drained. If they only could do half a tank they should have alerted us. What a shitty service! Pun intended. read more

BEWARE. This company came to do a septic pump and certification. They did a great job on the pumping but the first "inspectors" came out and failed my leach lines immediately because they didn't pass the flow test. I asked what my options were and the kid just kept saying "i dont know. my boss will call you. You're going to need a whole new leach field". I called their boss to get more clarification and she, Tracy, didn't have any answers either. First she said the inspectors didn't do a flow test so my husband said "well then they lied to me because they said they did" and her response was "first of all, they don't lie. I'm going to schedule the pump for tomorrow and the pump guy is going to inspect it again because he used to do that." The pump guy came out the next day, put the hose into the leach line and came right out. He failed it too because the water shot right back at him. Again, we asked him what our options were and this guy's response was, "I dont know. My boss will call you". We asked if there's a clog, he said "I don't know, maybe". We asked about doing the water jetter, he said "that isn't really effective". We asked what our options are and he said "you'll need a new leach field". We asked how he knew the lines were failed, what if it's a clog and he said "when the leach lines fail the flow test, it means you need a whole new leach field". This is what the follow up email from Tracy said. "This inspection has been completed and the system did fail the flow test, which means that the leaching system need to be replaced. The septic tank itself passed inspection. When a leaching system fails, it has to be replaced with exactly what is there now, just in a new place." We had another company come out that put a camera in and determined the lines were clogged with roots. Other company was able to clear the roots and we got it certified. read more

Septic is just one of those things not fun to deal with. Selling our older home we had to have it certified and Lanik was recommended to us. Excellent service on the phone, very helpful and I feel the prices are fair as well. They came quickly and on time, located our septic which turned out to be quite a pain as the prior owners had covered it with concrete on our patio which I had just redone. A bit sad to see our new patio being torn up, but the access to the pump cannot be covered and it was the buyers request so we had to comply. Very satisfied with Lanik overall, though I wish they would have cleaned a bit better, the freshly painted house wall was splattered and I was left to sweep up the dirt and throw it away. read more

Heard good things about the company from local jobs they done on others properties and referred them over to a relative. My relatives called them and spoke to Carly and she is super nice and helped them out 100%. After a couple bids on the septic tank that needed to be replaced she came in with the lowest bid. During the project the employees had been very nice and the project was perfectly done with no issues to date. read more

We were referred to Lanik Enterprises by a dealer from a manufactured home company. We hired them based on the recommendation. Not only did Lanik charge top dollar for our installation of our manufactured home, but they sub-contracted the majority of the work. After asking them to come view our site to ensure our new modular home would fit through the roads, they assured us that it was fine. The home got delivered in four pieces, and the trucking company would not deliver the home to our property because of the road, and trees. Then they proceeded to attempt to charge us to have a specialist deliver the home over a week later. Lanik does not put the job as priority, rather, they work for a couple hours a day, then go to another job. More distasteful, they don't show up for days. If you are wanting get your job done, or on time constraints, don't hire Lanik. They don't care about whatever situation you have, and only work a few hours, then move on to other jobs. In addition to them taking be inconsiderate of timing, they hire whomever is presumably cheapest. As a result of random contractors coming and going, we ended up having some tools on our property stolen. Of course, everyone pointed the finger at one another. Throughout the course of the overall installation, I was very disappointed in Lanik's general disconcern for the matters mentioned. Additionally, the job was done poorly. We are still, months later attempting to fix the issues with our interior completion on our own. read more

I purchased a house last year. Part of the escrow was to have the septic system pumped. Lanik Enterprises was the company contracted to do the work. They charged over $700 to my escrow. Come to find out they subbed out the pumping to another company. Roll forward, this year my tenants called saying the sewage is backing up. I called out a septic company who charged $250 to pump, about the average. They said the tank was full, normally tanks don't have to be pumped until three years have passed. They also said the ground that covered the access ports was rock hard, it had not been disturbed in years. I remembered that I received something with my escrow papers. I found the invoice and called Lanik. The woman that I spoke with basically told me too bad. My advice, use another company. Avoid Lanik. Dan O'mara read more

If I could give less than one star I would. Hired them to put in new leach lines. It took them twice as long to do the project as they had said. Once hired they never returned phone calls and on top of that their office staff was rude on several occasions. They completely tore up my yard with no regard for my property. Beware of these people!!!! read more

First of all this whole septic thing is new to me. So when I had raw sewage coming out of my tubs and showers, I was to say the least completely panicking! Lanik saved the day! Showed up this morning on time but the area that we thought the septic tank was located was wrong. The tech immediately called the office and within 30 minutes they had a crew out locating the tank, digging up the area and were able to start pumping. Thanks so much for all your help. Lanik Enterprises with their experts of in-house crew and subcontractors, took our 4 acres of dirt and helped us develop it into a home that we are proud of! Gordon, Carly and CJ were amazing through the year long process. Carly handles a host of tasks and gives the word ''multitasking' a whole new definition. She is quick! She talks fast and her detail oriented brain must go just as fast because when she says she will handle a situation, you can be assured that it will be completed on time, on budget and with a quality result. The professional relationships Carly has cultivated throughout the years with the counties, utility companies, etc made it literally stress free for us when it came time for our permits and inspections. Priceless! CJ is in charge of the field crew and work. We were halfway through the grading and land preperation process when we met him. His easy going, friendly and dedicated customer service attitude surprised us as we thought we were going to meet a hardened contractor due to the impeccable work that had been completed thus far. CJ and his crew constantly went above and beyond whenever a problem arose - and there were many as with any big project - but they were typically fixed by the time we even became aware of them. When we came upon a huge HOA conundrum with our garage, Gordon with his contractor's expertise, helped us overcome it and saved us thousands of dollars while supporting us every step of the way. Lanik Enterprises can be - and is - selective on the customers they choose to work with. You can derive this from previous reviews/posts where the potential customer did not meet Lanik Enterprises professional standards for a variety of reasons. Once we signed our contract and our project began - along with the many bumps in the road - we knew we had partnered with the best company. We have been in our new home for 7 weeks now. Very disappointed in customer service and follow-up. I purchased a home on septic and Lanik repaired the septic system. New leach lines, risers, permits, and pump. Over $7000 in work. we had septic gas smell coming into the house and told me it was not covered under warranty and likely because the vent was not capped. Wanted to charge me $175 to put a cap on the vent that is not "required" in Riverside County but is required in San Diego County. Not friendly, helpful or professional. I would find somewhere else to go!! read more

Crooks, almost got for $8,000 saying my leach lines were bad. I just needed a septic cert and my second opinion from Norco pipeline showd me everything worked perfect. BUYER BEWARE. At first they told me it was 15 grand. I just needed the tank pump for $210 dollers. Man what a racket ? read more

I don't usually write reviews, but this company exceeded my expectations, and it definitely warrants sharing my experience with others. All the employees are courteous and professional. They arrived on my site when expected, worked diligently and did an excellent job as promised. This was a very large project, hooking up my house, approximately 650' from the street to the city sewer system. The foreman did an exceptional job and was always on top of the project. Upon completion they restored the grounds to its original state and cleaned up everything.
