I'm a realtor and scheduled an appointment for 7-8 am to have my client's septic pumped and certified. At 730, I got a call to let me know they had problems with their truck and would be there between 10-11. At 1130, I called and spoke to the owner letting him know nobody had shown up yet. He told me he messed up and would be another couple hours. This was now becoming an all day appointment for my client so I asked for a small discount for her inconvenience. He declined any discount at all claiming he doesn't make money on these jobs. I would have been happy with $50 off the $700 job but he declined to do anything to make up for his mistake. I understand that mistakes happen but it would be nice of him to offer some concession to show he values his customer's time. Definitely a poor experience for me. read more

Amazing support and service from a group of genuinely kind people. Wayne is extremely knowledgeable and was able to patiently address all of my questions and concerns. I am a new home owner with no prior experience with septic systems. I had a different septic company come out twice to investigate what we suspected was septic water overflowing from our leech field. The other company just downplayed my concerns saying I'm probably just smelling stale rain water. Septic Solutions is operating on a whole other level. To understand why our leech field was overflowing, Wayne had to become a detective and piece together decades of work performed by the prior home owner. They worked with me to reproduce the issue and used all tools at their disposal to put together the story, placing dye into the tank, shooting water into the pipes, snaking the pipes and even pulling up historic google satellite images from 2010 to understand what could have caused the issue to begin with! After determining root cause Wayne and his team resolved our issue with the leech field in just one day! Within an hour of diagnosing the issue and aligning on a path forward, his crew had a digger onsite to start work. His crew is professional and respectful, getting the work done quickly and leaving the job site clean. His pricing was very competitive and the work done was very comprehensive. Oct 2023 we ordered a septic pump and inspection while selling our house. An issue was identified in our tank and Wayne's call to me was, stated sternly: "I can't certify this tank, the baffle has an issue, it will need to be repaired to pass inspection". What ever happened to softening the bad news? They also had a few vague comments on the report itself: Risers undersize, (What does this mean? Too short? Too Narrow? no measurements given or facts to support this statement) The lid is greater than 6" below the surface, siting "per DEH code", (no reference to specific code). Amanda in the office told me on the phone that for the septic to be certified it had to be current code, irrespective of the year it was installed. When I e-mailed and asked for DEH code, or other codification to warrant this expense, her e-mail reply was "See attached- reference Chapter 4. There is no verbiage stating that the septic tank has to be in a particular condition to be to Code, it is up to the contractor hired to inspect when a tank is certified to deem whether the tank is in acceptable condition or not. A broken baffle wall not only compromises the function of the tank but the structural stability of it as well. Our duty us to report site conditions - same with all septic haulers. Feel free to call the County department of environmental health or other haulers for further clarification- to be certified means the tank is to current Code." The communication after the fact with this company proved intimidating, boarder line blackmail for clearance. We did not take them at their word and called 2 other haulers immediately, both came out ASAP, both stated that it is ridiculous to force the unnecessary expenses of rebuilding the septic to current code; as for the broken baffle, both said the baffle is fixable/replaceable. The tank is not compromised, just the baffle. Wayne quoted $16K +/- for the repair, the others were much, much less for a baffle replacement, and as far as the height and size of the risers, they are standard, and acceptable. The 10" depth of cover is not an issue, it is within reason; we were given options: leave as is, add a ring onto the current riser, regrade the area (which is possible where the tank is located) It is always good to get a second opinion and question even the experts. PS : I was also told I would incur late fees if the bill wasn't paid within 4 days. I paid the pump fee the next day, and reserved the inspection fee until I received the requested documentation or Friday, which ever was later. I never received the reference documentation, but I did pay the bill prior to Friday. Washing my hands of them. PPS: Guess who I'm calling next? Update:. Emails came from Amamda at 3:30am, I thought she was up. They have proof of check ordered from bank. After posting this review, Wayne phoned me demanding I reveal the other contractor hired so he can talk to them, expounded on his years of experience and knowledge. I told him he has no right to demand anything from me, and that as a courtesy, I would pass along the information to the contractor I am going with, who is fully licensed in this type of repair. I am allowed to get second and third opinions and choose another contractor. I don't like being intimidated, or feel like I have no other options or strong armed. read more

After dealing for months with another septic company, they abruptly canceled the day before work was supposed to begin. I was referenced to Wayne by Septic Pumping and after I gave him a call I knew I had made the right choice. First conversation I had with Wayne was in regards to trying to locate my tank on my new property. He came out with the Septic Pumping guy and together worked on triangulating the location of my tank. Didn't charge me a dime for that. After it was located and scoped by ASAP plumbing, he gave me a very thoughtful and experienced walk through of what was needed in my situation. Since my newly purchased septic tank has not been pumped in about 30 years, there was a very clear need to replace it. He walked me through the required steps, with itemized prices and even was open to working with me on certain aspects of the project to lower the overall cost (waiting on replacing leach field). When we agreed to the project and signed them up, Wayne and his crew made quick work of the replacement. They did the entire project in less than a week and had to battle everything from other contractors being on the premise to snakes and still kept powering along with a strong work ethic and a great sense of humor. I checked out several companies and called others--only to be told they do pump outs only. A Yelp review praised this company so highly I called at 10:00 pm to leave a message on the work number, which Wayne promptly answered! I was shocked. Doubly so, when he said he would be by first thing in the morning which meant around 7:00. Talk about fast responses! Concrete workers at the house told me he was professional, clear, and rapidly got the job rolling. They were hugely impressed, telling me everything was done quickly and well. Seriously, I don't know how these guys have such good reviews. We hired them to pump and inspect our septic tank. The scheduling was easy and they did come out on time as promised. They spent over an hour supposedly pumping our tank after he was "done" he told me that my risers were not up to code and that we would have to dig out almost our entire tank and have them replaced. I thought this was strange since it had been certified 4 years prior. I spoke with Wayne he told me they were illegal and I believed him. We started digging and then a friend suggested we get a second opinion. We got several and all the other companies told us there was no code and that our tank could be certified without replacing the risers. We had another company come out 2 days later. They were polite and pointed out that our tank was still almost completely full. They inspected and certified our septic with no issue. I gave Wayne and his company $650.00 for them to do nothing. Such a disappointment to be lied to by a company that is well rated and supposedly legit. I sent Wayne a message after the other company came out and informed him my tank was still full asking why we were charged $650.00. I was very polite and he was very aggressive with his response to me he even ended the exchange with a threat. I didn't even ask for a refund I just wanted to know why we were charged for a job that wasn't actually done. Definitely think twice before you try to hire these guys. For starters Wayne came out to see us after a long hard day and in heavy traffic too.... we had gotten bids from two other septic companies, also on Yelp, who wanted to right away replace leach lines and charge big bucks :( Wayne within minutes with his probe found my four leach lines in the orchard and found the leaking line at bottom. He knew to start at the top, at the septic tank and go from there since we did not know the problem. He was definitely right!! Sent someone out the very next day who spent most the day digging and using jack hammer to undig the septic tank which we found out had outdated covers and was not to code... This was not brought out to us by the other septic company nor the inspector upon purchasing this home two years ago :( Wayne came out and dug around the outside of septic to check out the pipe which leads to the distribution box hopefully nearby. he explained all details and possibilities ahead and was right on!!! Wayne found the crushed and torn pipe just outside the septic tank... it was allowing just enough wastewater to still get thru. In order to find the "d box" and where this line was going we brought in a septic plumber with a camera who found that it was going down and to what direction. That night Wayne came by again to follow up the findings... Early the next day Wayne with his crew and his tractor came and dug up the area next to my pristine vegetable garden, outside of the many tiers, They found the box and it had been installed tilted, thus, three of the leach lines were never being used all these years..... all was being directed to the bottom leach line only so that it why it was leaking from being totally over saturated... Wayne thus added some parts to correct the issue in the d box and then checked with water pressure now for correct direction to the three leach lines... ALL was remedied inexpensively versus the thousands of dollars the other two local companies wanted to charge me. I am so glad that I got 3 estimates and that I met Wayne who is totally honest and not out for the buck as these others were.... he really wants to help you and listens... to solve the problem.
