Jose came out to do an inspection and failed our system. He said it needed risers. We're in a panic we're trying to sell and we're in escrow and we need the certification. I called Brandy at the Department of Environmental health, and she said risers are not required on existing systems built before 2015. I called Jose and told him that, and Jose said Brandy didn't know what she was talking about. He told me that the person who is at the county who is the authority doesn't know what she's talking about?!!? This this morning I got another septic guy come out and he approved it. They were referred to me by sludge busters so I called them , they charged me 150 to diagnose the system , guy came out and couldn't find the leach lines , he left with no diagnosis, no explanation , hit me with a 20 k "repair" I basically threw away 150$ , how can you quote customer if you couldn't find the leach lines or verify the issue , few days passed and septic back to normal . read more

Dominic is the septic GOAT! Dominic and his crew installed two new septic tanks with risers and a pit at my house in Fallbrook. My property has a complicated layout with multiple detached structures and tons of old lines in the ground. While I was interviewing different contractors, Dominic stood out as very easy to deal with, responsive and helpful by shaping a final solution for my property. During the construction process we hit a bunch of underground lines (not their fault, there was just a bunch of cold water, electrical and gas that a prior owner had put underground but there was no record of). This changed the construction timeline quite a bit because I needed extra time to repair many of those lines before they can backfill their work. We just bought a house in October that has septic. We are new to septic but had lots of questions. I called Bob's septic when we were considering purchasing the house since they had previously serviced it under the previous owner. Jose and his team were AMAZING! He is so knowledgable about not only the system but about the construction process of converting to sewer. We we able to discuss cost options of upgrades/matinence ect. We hired them to locate our leach lines they were very professional and able to do the job right away at an affordable cost. We are currently investigating the huge undertaking of sewer conversion vs upgrading the system to allow for ADU permitting/future build and every time I call Jose is a wealth of knowledge in navigating the complexities of the project. They rebuilt my tank lid. Awesome service, nice people. Original quote was to replace the t-connectors inside the tank as well as replace/repour the lid, put on spacers and pump out lids. We did everything except the t-connectors. I still got charged for the full amount. After the fact, my driveway repair guy says they should have either sealed the metal lids or let us know to seal them before the rains set in. They are now rusting something horrible. We get to wire brush and paint them before we can patch the driveway with concrete. They could have saved us a headache and let us know in advance. read more

The county came out and found no evidence (because he was lying). So after all this time Bob himself calls me. We have a frank discussion about how hard it can be to get the right employees or trust the people you recommend. I tell him I understand this from my own lifes experience but he is responsible that there is no more of a sacred act than a consumer inviting someone to do work at their home. He offers to pay me back 100% to take th ereview down I tell him my experience was so bad I am hesitant to take the review down, he does business under so many names. But I promised I would think about it. I slept on this for 2 nights and discussed it several times over with my spouse and decide that Bob is trying to do the right thing and so should we and frankly we could use the money back. So I write him a note saying OK lets wipe this clean... 2 days later I get a response asking if we can split the cost in half, it went from a full refund I want to make this right to half..... Please see my last update to understand how dumb I am, I gave him a 3rd chance accepted his offer and same as every other experience with Bob they can't do, follow up or execute a single thing they say they will. The review will stay forever regardless of any refund or offer.
