I had a great experience with All American Plumbing, particularly Iain and his apprentice, Steve. I originally called because our kitchen drain had become completely backed up. I had tried troubleshooting it myself and initially thought it might be a relatively simple clog, but it became pretty clear that it needed a professional. Iain thoroughly snaked the line and got everything flowing properly again. While he was working, he also pointed out that the plumbing under our kitchen sink had a lot of smaller sections, fittings, and connections that could be simplified to minimize future issues. What I really appreciated was that it never felt like an upsell. He mentioned it simply as something I might want to consider in the future. I was actually the one who asked whether he could just take care of it while he was already there. He even hesitated because he wasn't sure he had all the necessary parts on the truck, but checked and was able to get it done. The new setup under the sink looks dramatically cleaner, simpler, and stronger. Some of the old fittings were pretty finicky, so I'm especially glad I didn't continue trying to tackle it myself. Iain and Steve spent about three hours between clearing the drain, rebuilding the piping, and making sure everything was working correctly. The pricing was also very reasonable, and Iain actually reduced the original drain-cleaning charge after I added the additional work without me even asking. Both Iain and Steve were friendly, professional, and straightforward. I also really appreciated that Iain took the time to explain what he was doing and gave me some good advice for maintaining the drains going forward. Great from start to finish. I sent a request through yelp in the afternoon and they came the next morning. The team was on time, professional and quick. We had an issue with our air gap leaking. Upon inspection they realized the tubing and the garbage disposal were not set up efficiently, leading to water coming out of the air gap. They were great about explaining what was going on and answering any questions I had. The quote seemed fair to me and they were able to do the work to fix it right away. I'm so happy with the quality of the work AAP has provided me. JoJo handled all the plumbing work, Dave completed the tile work, and Byron and Sherri professionally managed my needs throughout the entire process (my attention to detail can sometimes get the best of me and others). The entire team worked together and delivered top-notch results (see attached photo). JoJo was professional, efficient, and easy to work with. He took the time to clearly explain everything, kept me informed, and clearly takes pride in his craft. He quickly diagnosed several previous plumbing installation issues that caused my 5-year old tub to crack at the drain. He carefully removed it and reinstalled a new tub the way the old one should have been. The entire tub removal and reinstallation was completed in less than a day (I was shocked). JoJo also took care of additional plumbing fixes, including correcting a poorly installed P-trap under my bathroom sink, updating the drainage on my kitchen sink, and replacing a few old shut-off valves. Everything is now done properly and functions exactly as it should. Dave's tile work is very impressive. He came in after JoJo and finished the surround. It now blends so seamlessly that no one would ever know the bathtub and tile wall had been partially demoed and replaced. The re-tiling is clean, precise, and matches perfectly. We have had two good experiences with All-American plumbing -- they initially helped with some leak detection work last year and just were super efficient and knowledgeable, and just generally very nice people. When it came time for doing some annual maintenance (water heater flush) as well as an insinkerator replacement and some drain line investigation -- they were our first call. While we couldn't get the same technicians as last year, David Hollis was sent and he was a true professional. We had a minor miscommunication re the work scope so the timing took 2 days instead of 1, but David resolved it professional and efficiently. I appreciated how thorough and diligent he was in his work, as well as communicating what needed to be done and provided helpful tips for ongoing maintenance. I found the appointment reminders via text, and notifying who and when the team would be arriving was helpful. Also the followup email with the photos of the work completed was also great! On July 3rd, I walked into every homeowner's absolute nightmare: a main pipe burst that left at least an inch of standing water across my floor. After shutting off the main valve, I spent the next few hours contacting six different plumbing companies. I know six sounds excessive, but when you're dealing with major sudden water damage, you can't afford to just pick the first name on Google. I had a strict checklist: non-invasive leak detection, fair pricing (super cheap prices are an immediate red flag for me because it usually means cut corners), transparency, zero high-pressure sales tactics, and someone who actually takes the time to communicate like a human being. All American Plumbing Inc. checked every single box, and Kevin was a total breath of fresh air. From the second he arrived, Kevin was professional, calm, and insanely knowledgeable. He never once used scare tactics to push unnecessary work or try to upsell me. In fact, he turned the whole stressful situation into a learning experience; he walked me through what he was doing step-by-step and answered every single one of my questions with genuine patience. Never made me feel foolish for asking. He capped off the burst line quickly and installed a Moen Flo smart shutoff device at the main valve. I decided to replace my toilet after the one from the previous owner started to show some issues, but when I removed it I noticed the toilet flange was completed destroyed from years of leakage. I got an appointment set up within a few days (on July 4th, too!) to get a quote. Ian came out, checked for parts, and immediately got to work. He was super friendly and answered all of my questions, and even gave recommendations for upkeep and maintenance. Even though he had to cut out the old flange and glue in the new one, the work was super quick, maybe 1 hour tops between him arriving and him completing the work.
