He was extremely nice and explained our options without trying to up sale. Pricing was fair and competitive with the other companies we had contacted. We decided to go with Water Purifaciions Systems due to their quick response, great communication, past reviews, workmanship, and their competitive pricing. On the day of install, Constantine and his team arrived when they said they would. Their work was efficient, clean, and custom. We did encounter one issue, but they rolled with it and resolved the issue with no problems. They cleaned up after themselves and went over the system in detail with us. They were patient and answered all our questions. I would definitely recommend Water Purification Systems for your water treatment needs here in San Diego County. We had All Cities Water replace a Puragain water filter system that we had installed in 2022. The…read moreoriginal system did not address the hard water issue that we have been having and it continually clogged up, requiring routine (expensive) maintenance to replace the filters. All Cities did an excellent job of explaining the options and going through how a salt-based hybrid softener system would provide the water quality we were hoping to achieve. I asked a ton of questions, all of which were quickly and thoroughly answered. There was no attempt to upsell us or talk us into anything. It was a very low-pressure engagement that made everything much simpler. We ended up going with a hybrid salt system that uses carbon and sodium chloride to condition the water (it can also use potassium chloride but the cost of that is prohibitive at this time). The installation went very smoothly. We were told it would take about 4 hours to remove the old system, install the new one and run a drain line across the garage to the sink. That is almost exactly what it took and the installer was very professional and easy-going. We are very pleased with the system thus far and I would highly recommend All Cities Water Treatment as a great option for anyone interested.

They were able to get everything set up and running quickly, still before the originally estimated time window. Dylan and Jeff came back promptly the next morning to tear down, test and re-balance the water, and also went to brush off some algae buildup that I had in the pool. They both are extremely knowledgable and took time to help me learn more about how to care for the pool I was inheriting. One fine day, we saw water all over the floor, and knew what was coming .... followed the normal…read moreprocedure - called restoration guys, as usual they were ready to rip everything off, put the fans, call the insurance and give you a hefty bill but they won't check the leak location. So, I called the leak detection guys - they did a pretty good job in detecting the lead and now I know I have to do a re-pipe. So, I called repipe folks. I had about 7 repipe folks came and give me the quote. Stefan of Repipe Home Hero was the first person to visit and gave a no-nonsense clean quote and it was the lowest of the lot. The best part was he mentioned before hand that his quote will be the lowest. Stefan started the work on the planned day. Done with the repiping in 2 days - on time and very efficient. Started the water on 3rd day to check leaks and requested for inspection. Inspection done on 3rd day 10am (as told) and then started to work on the drywalls. In next 2 days, the whole drywall repairs and painting (matching the texture) were completed with perfect cleaning. The whole work fully completed in 5 days. I am very late to write this review after ~1.5 yrs, but I am still fan of what Stefan and his co-worker did back then. It was pure professionalism, no-nonsense no-haggle no-ripping-off quote, always on-time, respect of the property and privacy, no wastage of time, absolutely clean work, thorough checking after the work done, perfect patching of the dry wall and complete matching of the texture. Our new home didn't…read morehave any whole-house water filtration, and a friend from the Rancho Santa Fe area highly recommended Ethical H2O's Inspire whole-house filtration and salt-free conditioning system. Looking back, we're really glad we took their recommendation. OUR WATER: Our home is served by the Olivenhain Municipal Water District, which is known for having very hard water. Scale buildup is a challenge. OUR SALES EXPERIENCE: What impressed us first was the sales experience. Ariane took the time to educate us on the differences between water conditioners and water softeners, answer all of our questions, and explain the different product options without any pressure. She walked us through the pros and cons of each system and emphasized that the best choice depended on what we wanted from our water treatment system. We never felt like we were being sold something--just educated so we could make the best decision for our home. WHY WE CHOSE INSPIRE: We chose the Inspire system because we wanted a salt-free, low-maintenance solution. One of the biggest selling points for us was its expected service life. Ethical H2O explained that the filter media has an expected lifespan of about seven years before it needs to be changed out. Because we installed the system through them, Ethical H2O will also reach out when the time comes to test the filter media and determine whether it needs replacement. We especially appreciated that the system uses well-established, widely respected components, including a Clack control valve and Pentair tank. That gave us confidence that the equipment should last and that replacement parts and service would be readily available if they were ever needed. At our previous home, we had a citrus-based NuvoH2O Manor Trio system. While it worked reasonably well, it required replacing the cartridges every 6 to 9 months. We wanted a solution that required much less ongoing maintenance. OUR RESULTS: The system has been fantastic. The biggest surprise has been our electric kettle. Before the installation, we would start seeing scale buildup within a day or two, even when using tap water filtered through a PUR pitcher. It's now been over a week of using the kettle multiple times a day, and there's barely a hint of scale. Based on our experience so far, it's performing even better than the NuvoH2O system we had in our previous home. It's also reassuring to know that we're not only reducing scale but also filtering out chlorine and other contaminants throughout the house. We also appreciate having filtered water available from every faucet in the house instead of only from a single drinking-water tap, so we didn't need to do anything special for the refrigerator water line. OUR INSTALLATION EXPERIENCE: The installation was smooth, professional, and very clean. Ethical H2O works with a recommended plumber, but they also welcome customers to use their own plumber if they prefer. We decided to go with their recommendation, Chris Erbs Plumbing, and we're glad we did. The installation included connecting the Inspire system to our home's main water line and routing the regeneration drain to our existing sewer cleanout. Everything looked neat and professionally done. The plumbers completed the system's initial regeneration cycle, then took the time to walk us through its operation and maintenance before they left. Since they were already going to be on site, we also arranged directly with Chris Erbs Plumbing ahead of time to replace our water heater during the same visit. Being able to complete both projects in a single appointment made the entire process even more convenient. OUR RECOMMENDATION: If you're considering a whole-house water filtration system, I'd definitely recommend talking with Ethical H2O. Ariane made the selection process easy by helping us understand our options instead of trying to sell us the most expensive system, and Chris Erbs Plumbing did an outstanding job with the installation. The combination of knowledgeable guidance, quality equipment, and professional installation made the entire experience well worth the investment.

AT this point, I'm like wtf is this place so I walked out. Never I have ever experience such crap customer service. These 2 clowns weren't busy and could have spared me 1 min of their time to simply answer if they carried a product. I ended up ordering the part from Amazon and had it sent same day. Honestly, this is why retail and stores are dying because of this BS. Don't come to this lame as place for your toilet needs. You'll have a better experience at Amazon. Bunch of Bums.

I am a resident of a apartment complex in Ramona, CA. My name is Ray and would like to recommend this company to everyone who needs a plumbing job done right. My complex needed plumbing repairs on one unit which forced the maintenance team to shut off the water to the whole complex (property used a single watering system for all). The property was out of water for THREE days and called multiple plumbing companies who could not fix the problem. Finally, PLUMBING PLUS was recommended and was called to do the job. PLUMBING PLUS sent out a technician named DAVID BERBER who went above and beyond the call of duty. David came out late on a Saturday, was very professional, provide excellent customer service, and diagnosed what needed to be done. It took David one try to resolve the issue and cant thank him enough. Prior to Davids arrival, we had three other plumbers come out who could not fix what he did on his first try. Very impressed from first contact * Matt * through the pro-grade, highly skilled plumber dispatched * Jacob * ("Jake"} through the post follow-up email from the owner/manager Michael. Make no mistake about it, this is the "A" team of plumbers. Was simply collecting quotations for some preventive maintenance replacement of the emergency shut-off valve for my residence, a new faucet upgrade in our wetsink, and some under the cabinet spigot shut off valves (they refer to them as angle stops?) and finally a drain unclog also in the wetsink. Note: my experience with plumbers spans four houses in my career, so I have some experience here... 1) Near immediate dispatch (same day - within a couple hours), 2) Extremely professional and informative, 3) On the spot written (email) quotations while they are on-site, 4) Prices were less than another onsite quote I received (~20% lower!), 5) and they do a great job with clean up and final instructions. I'm so surprised that there are any negative reviews for Plumbing Plus at all. I also never thought I'd write a review for a service company but hey, you gotta find them somehow and Yelp is my go to search for this kind of stuff. Have you seen me? Probably not because this is the internet and you have no idea who I am, so let me tell you. I don't like getting my hands dirty, ESPECIALLY when it comes to plumbing. Once anything goes down any of my drains, I consider it out of site, out of mind, and I definitely don't ever want to see it again. These guys are great, from customer service to recommendations on how to avoid plumbing disasters. If I have learned anything going into my 20's is that, a little work now to avoid a lot of damage later is definitely worth my time. Working a 9-5, I don't have time for things to get backed up, and to for a guy to come out on my day off and fix everything for me. These guys are quick and efficient and helped recommend everything from products to use to ways to maintain my plumbing. I haven't had to call them again but if I need someone again in the future, these guys are my guys. read more

We used Plumbing Plus recently to replace/install a new hot water heater. We had used them before for minor work, and in our most recent emergency they were amazingly helpful. The plumber who helped us was Garrett, and he was INCREDIBLY courteous, knowledgeable, and good at his job! It was a nice change of pace to have a plumber/contractor come when they say they would, do what they said they would (and not pull a, "yeah, once I pulled it out I found a lot more problems I didn't catch when I gave an estimate so the bill is a lot more"), and finish when in a timely manner as they said they would. Not only did Garrett do amazing work, but 24 hours after he was here a rep. from Plumbing Plus called to check up on our hot water heater and make sure everything was running as it should! We talked to another plumber before contracting Plumbing Plus, and the service was no where NEAR as good, the plumber was flat-out anti-social, and the work habits were seemingly inept. I wanted to give this review particularly for the plumbers who helped fix my home's problems, Robert Hannis and another gent whose name I didn't catch (sorry). I think Robert is an extremely knowledgeable and helpful expert, and he is caring and empathetic to a homeowner's needs of plumbing. Thank you Robert and his assistant for fixing the problems in my home. My only reason to give this one star lower is when I initially got a quote, I was just given a total price with no itemization of the respective prices for the individual services of my entire plumbing job. Granted I did email back and ask to provide it which was done, but I didn't like that I had to email back to ask for this. As a customer I want to clearly see what exact services and costs are being quoted and what each service is itemized for in the total cost in a facilitated and championed manner. This way the homeowner can then elect to opt-out of certain services if need-be and know exactly what they would need to prepare to pay for each aspect of the job. The fear generated when asking for repairs on items of unfamiliarity, is you are going to be paying for unneeded parts and labor. Two weeks ago, I discovered water damage in the downstairs ceiling below an upstairs shower. I had NO idea what possible issues there could be. Was this going to cost thousands? Isaiah, a plumber for this company, took the time to walk me through the cause of the leak, and each, and every, necessary repair in the upstairs shower. He then proceeded to notice our regulator was well past replacement and was contributing to the burst valve. I feel as if I received a plumbing crash course AND the most honest assessment of repairs -- ever. The price was very reasonable and will amortize over time due to the quality, and protection guarantees of the products and services. Called Plumbing Plus with what I was expecting to be and expensive job. The tech they sent was Ron Hays. He was a very affable fellow, professional, courteous with the attitude of, "let's get the job done with as little expense to you as possible". After we agreed on a course of action, Ron kept doing his job trying to find the leak in my front lawn, he could have easily packed it in with a see you tomorrow to collect a couple thousand dollars, but he didn't. He kept looking and found my problem to be a sprinkler valve. What could have been an expensive job turned into an easy fix. I have used Plumbing Plus to install a tankless water heater, their field supervisor Robert Hannis was also top notch. It has been such a great pleasure having Plumbing Plus come to my rescue. I recently began a rainwater harvesting project on my property this past summer. We happened to have one hard rain whereby a rock fell and cracked the pipe which connected the two tanks. I was able to temporarily seal the crack but needed to find someone to fix it with new pipes and turn off valves. I had the pleasure to work with Mike, the owner, who I greatly appreciate for his open mind and willingness to fix the problem. I was turned down by every other plumbing company for the job and I am so glad because Plumbing Plus is a keeper! They are friendly, professional, open minded, patient, and excellent plumbers. I am extremely satisfied with my Plumbing Plus experience. If you are looking for the best plumbing company in San Diego, then this is it. I had multiple issues at the new house my family moved into and Mike and his team of skilled technicians were nothing but helpful. When all was said and done, I had 1 faucet repaired, 1 fixture completely replaced, a major clogged drain cleared (it was disgusting - I'm so grateful my wife talked me into calling these amazing plumbers), and they fixed our water heater. From start to finish, the whole experience was painless, quick and inexpensive. I will definitely be using Plumbing Plus again as my go-to plumbing service in University Heights. I replaced the Moen shower value in our shower. Had minor leak after repair and needed one replacement part. Had to turn off all water going into house. We have livestock and needed water fast. Made call to Plumbing Plus and was told a dispatcher will contact me to set up an appointment. About 14 hours later, I received a dispatcher call setting up my appointment time of between 10AM and 2PM. Team members, Kyle Osborn and Matt arrived around 9:30AM. I had my water back on to the house in a little over 2 hours. I am very satisfied with the service provided and the friendly staff. Update as of 04/20/2016: I gave him 4 stars out of 5 because the owner of Plumbing Plus, Mike, came himself to my house yesterday, to apologize and to fix the problem. Also he gave me back the extra money I paid the tech the second time around because he knew the leaking was not there before. He fix the leak and took time to inspect everything and made sure everything was working the way it should be before he left. I appreciate the fact that the owner stood behind his business and was honest with me and want to make the wrong situation right. I called Plumbing Plus to my home to find out why my washing machine was backing up and my toilet was gurgling. David Burber was the plumber that showed up. He was so knowledgeable and knew what questions to ask to help determine what the problem was and devise a plan of action. I admit, I am not so plumbing savy but he was able to clearly explain each step and let me know what my options were. David was professional, polite, and courteous, and knew what he was doing. Garrett serviced our tank-less water heater the other day. He was very professional and even though I was being a pest watching over his shoulder, he was very patient, answered all my questions and he explained exactly what he was doing. I thought about performing the maintenance myself but I'm glad I did not. The money spent was well worth the experience Garrett brought to the job. He performed other service techniques (i.e. cleaning the senors) not shown on the You Tube video which fixed the problem we were experiencing. I recently had a Plumbing Plus plumber come out to do a periodic water heater flush. After he was finished, I asked him about replacing my "old style" toilet with a "low flush" version. He provided me info on cost, time required to replace the old one, when it could be done, etc.. I also asked him about possibly increasing the temperature of the water comng out of the shower head, and increasing the force of the water coming out. Yesterday, my helpful husband decided to snake out a slow shower drain. Last night, after a bath, I released the stopper and all the tub water emptied into the shower, and neither the tub nor the shower would drain. Having used Plumbing Plus Poway for a number of years, I called and they sent Nate over to save us. He was able to relieve the plug in a short time utilizing the clean out drain outside of our home. Plumbing Plus did an excellent job on the main water pipe and replacing the sewer pipe to our business. Their crew was professional and courteous and kept the area neat and free of excess debris. Finding a plumber you can trust is not an easy feat. Before finding Plumbing Plus I contacted and had 2 other plumbing services at my house who for didn't reasons were not a fit. David came to my house and was honest, professional, and knowledgeable! I have already raved about my experience to my neighbors who need to replace their water heater. Even with this expensive expense, I feel that my money went to quality and installed by someone who took their time to do it right! I have been using them for 20 years. During that time the owner of the company worked many hours in my place in Poway before he took over the company. All my local repairs and all my new revisions were completed by Plumbing Plus. Just today I had to call them for an emergence water line break in one of my walls. During all my upgrades over the years I could rely on them being their to complete the work on time, which in my mind is very important since I was a contractor for 30 years and dealt with a lot companies who could never get done on time. The excellent service started with my initial phone call, the gentleman who answered the phone ( I believe his name was Randy) was courteous and was able to schedule an appointment right a way. The technicians ( David B and Nate L )showed up within the time scheduled and were very professional. They were able to answer all my questions and their was well done. I would recommend Plumbing Plus and would use them again. The only thing I would say I was shocked about was the the cost of the service. I was expecting a water heater replace to be pricey, but my cost was more then I was hoping to pay. read more

David Berber came out yesterday to look at my water heater and determined that due to the age that instead of paying upwards of $550 for a repair that would fail in the future, due to the age of the heater I should replace it. He was able to get my new water heater the next day and applied the diagnostic fee plus a senior discount against my cost. David and Nate Lopez where both very professional, courtesy, and friendly. Most importantly, he stayed exactly within the price range he quoted me the day before and didn't overcharge me at all. Frank and his fellow technician did an outstanding job on a complex repair. They spent two hours meticulously removing old brass piping, draining the lines, and installing new copper piping. It involved soldering several elbow pieces to ensure everything fit perfectly both inside and outside the wall. The final setup looks amazing--it's clearly the work of pros. What impressed me most was the attention to detail. Frank, the senior plumber, personally QA-checked all the soldering to ensure the job was done perfectly before they finished. They even took the time to clean up the entire workspace afterward. In the five years we've lived here in San Diego, this is hands-down the best plumbing contractor we've hired. I offered to pay in the moment and was told not to worry about it since nothing was wrong and the plumber directly told me it was under warranty. I recieved an invoice for 150 and when I called I was told to not worry about it. And they would look into why I was sent that. I didn't hear anything after. NOW A YEAR LATER. THEY WANT 150 more than the 500 dollars I paid for the wack job that was done in my bathroom. They are scammers and will be looking to report them.

I called on a Thursday for a shut off valve issue with my toilet. In short, I wasn't getting any…read morewater flow from the valve into the tank, so I assumed there was a clog. And if not, this was surely an issue far beyond my level of expertise. Their earliest availability was the following Monday (4 days) later, which was sooner than I expected. They kept me on stand by for the following day (Friday), but no such luck. My service window was 9 AM - 12 PM and two technicians showed up directly to my door around 9:30. Also sooner than I expected. I was impressed not only by the timing but also their sense of direction. Getting to my condo unit can be confusing with the various gate entrances, but these guys clearly knew what they were doing. Most people get lost. Not these guys. This job required a water main shut off in my HOA and they knew exactly where to go. They were friendly and professional and in and out in under 1 hour 30 minutes. The only reason I am at 4 stars is because I was quoted $225 for the job, but was charged $325. That seems a bit off, but the job was done swiftly and so I didn't bother challenging them.
