My daughter needed some new cleats and we decided to check this place out. Parking: Found metered street parking in front. Cleat selection? Fantastic! Lots of options, unlike Dick's or other sports chains. Service? Excellent. We were greeted quickly and clerk was very knowledgeable. Socks? Every brand & color you could need. Price? This store has one of the largest selection of high end cleats I have seen in the LA area. Most stores carry low to middle of the range cleats. If you want hypervenoms, magista etc this is the place for you. Their jersey selection is quite large as well. Their prices aren't the cheapest but that is outweighed by the selection and how nice the place is. read more

I've been a customer of Pro Soccer since their old location on S Fair Oaks Ave and it wasnt until recently that I made it to the "new" location on Los Robles. I needed to buy a gift for my godson who is a Cristiano Ronaldo fanatic. Although most of the Madrid tees were sold out, I was able to find a really nice Nike Portugal tee and some matching socks for him. He was really happy with the gift. Customer service was great. I was greeted when I walked in, checked on and asked if I needed help, a gentleman showed me where all the kids sizes are and tried to help me find anything Cristiano and the girl at checkout was super cool. I will be back as I saw some things I need to pick up such as Manchester United Nike game socks and a Netherlands gym sack. This is my favorite soccer shop (so far) in Los Angeles. My interest is mainly jerseys and fan gear. I'm writing this during the 2018 World Cup; they've got just about every tournament jersey. Several international clubs (the big ones, Barça, Madrid, etc...), our local LAFC and LA Galaxy. PLUS I was happy to see a rack of current out-of-town MLS jerseys. Smart! There may only be a handful of Sporting KC or Portland Timbers fans in LA, but we exist! The store is made of what looks like 3 smaller boutique spaces combined into one big shop. 1/4 of the place is a room full of soccer shoes (or "boots", whatevs). They've got coaching and referee equipment, balls and whatnot. It's clean and neat. The staff is friendly. (note: I still haven't seen Nigeria at any shop in the city. I think they had to order far in advance. As a different store said, "Yeah...we didn't realize they would be so cool.") read more

Went in only to be told that they "just sold out" of the item... funny how that worked out since they found out I wouldn't be making another purchase alongside. I purchased a pair of cleats for my daughter which were the wrong size, so when I attempted to return them all I can get is store credit. That isn't the problem, the problem is that as persistent that the salesperson was in selling them ; after I had told him - I wasn't sure on the size, he never mentioned it was exchange only policy (because they were on sale). As much money that I have spent at this store throughout the years, you would think they have the courtesy to return the item. I couldn't exchange them, they didn't have the size I needed to begin with! So even if they don't have what you need your stuck with store credit! Who conducts business in such a manner... I've been coming to Pro Soccer since their first (that I know of) location on Colorado, near the old Fedco. I followed them to Fair Oaks/Glenarm, both of which locations seem to have run by the mom. Super friendly, willing to help. I'm all about supporting local, I'd prefer to spend a few more bucks at a store like this than some mass sports-retailer (Sport Chalet, Dick's, etc). A few weeks ago I stopped in to check out the selection at the shop, as I hadn't been playing soccer actively so I had no need for new equipment. First mistake: entering this place when there's a live soccer game on. ALL EMPLOYEES will have their eyes on the TV, and that's it. Forget being helped. Fair enough. Soccer store, soccer game. Makes sense that the employees get excited when there's a game on. Fast forward a few more weeks...while at a pick up game, my 10+ year old cleats started to fall apart (literally) and due to work I didn't have time to shop around for new shoes before our next game. I knew what I wanted (Copa's, size 9.5) so I called Pro Soccer to see if they were in stock so I could pick them up on the way to my game. Without hesitation, the gentleman on the phone told me they were. Perfect. I figured I'd have enough time after work to get there, purchase and get to field. WRONG. I arrive at store, ask for Copa's, size 9.5. Employee goes to stock room, comes back out and says they don't have any in stock. I explain that I had just called a few hours prior and without hesitation, was told they were indeed in stock. Maybe they were put at the front desk...? Nope. He then goes to the owner/manager asking about them and returns to me to tell me that they're in stock ONLINE and in their warehouse a few miles away. Awesome. That's ZERO help to me...maybe when I mentioned over the phone that I wanted to PICK UP the shoes that night the person on the other end of the phone should have mentioned the fact that I would not be able to put my hands on them unless I ordered them online to pick up at another time. Off to Dick's Sporting Goods I went to pay $30 more dollars than what Pro Soccer was selling them for. Dick's 1, Pro Soccer 0. I am not only a fan of Soccer but also a player. I've played for 16 years so I've been to my fair share of soccer shops. This place has to be one of the most over priced, horrible selection and horrible customer service soccer shops in existence. I've been here 3 times in the span of a year, because it's one of the closest places to my house. And each time has been the same. I will admit that they have a large selection of Jerseys but thats about it. WHAT MAKE NO DAMN SENSE TO ME: Special Orders. Whats the point of driving down to a shop so they can special order something? All they are going to do is go online and order the product and tack on an extra 10% to the regular price + shipping for the "special order". The whole point of "brick and mortar" stores is convenience. What the use of going and ordering something and waiting days for it to come? Like everyone has stated customer service is definitely lacking with the only exception of the younger man who is running around trying to help everyone find what they need. The owner, his son, and daughter? are generally unhelpful and seem to careless if you're there. I have regularly hear them arguing to each other and with the owner in front of customers. Decided to give this place a try instead of placing constant online orders to WorldSoccer.com. The selection was good, and was surprised to find tons of footy merch! I can add on to my collection of merch, such as scarves, more jerseys, and jackets. Will even return to pick up some other accessories, and they do have the WC 2010 ball available. Staff informed me that special orders can be done from time-to-time if a specific product isn't avaiable. My only disappointment is that there weren't any products for Everton FC and Werder Bremen. Regardless, I will continue going here, and the service wasn't too shabby. The staff will warm up if you show your knowledge of the sport. Called to see if they had a specific kids size jersey. They told me they did, so I headed over to their shop to buy it. Traveled a significant distance to get there. When I got there they mistakenly had pulled a ladies sized jersey and not the kids sized jersey I was seeking. Was upset that they had made me drive all the way out to their shop for no reason. One of their managers, however, was cool enough to acknowledge their mistake and reimbursed me for the gas I spent to drive out to their location. At a minimum, you can at least say they have upstanding customer service even under crummy circumstances. Just for that courteous gesture, I would definitely go back. read more

My experience at the store was great. The staff was friendly. there was a wide variety of soccer equipment. I visited the store to buy something for the Chelsea game. There was a wide variety of things that I liked. The prices were reasonable for the quality of the gear. I was able to get a very nice Chelsea jersey at the clearance section for about 30 dollars off. I also bought some Barcelona gear for my cousin. I look forward to buying more stuff at this store. I have shopped at this location several times and each time we have had great customer service. The guys helping us out with cleats are always patient and helpful with my 11 year old who has narrow feet. They know their products and make the most appropriate recommendations. Today we went in for jerseys for the BARCA vs La Galaxy game and came out super happy with our selections. Pro Soccer Store has re-located and gotten a much needed makeover. Gone are the cardboard crates blocking the aisles, the giant markdown bins of last years unwanted cleats, the cramped racks of poorly sorted jerseys, and the fading, torn, paper posters of hairy-legged eastern European soccer stars from the 70's that you've never heard of. The new location is swank! New carpeting, clever displays, clean crisp lighting, and best of all - space, glorious space. This place has really done a fine job upgrading, with the bonus of a better neighborhood. The service, well, they've added a few kids to the floor staff, but the sales are still run by one eager young man named Caesar, who is great, and hopefully is not so overwhelmed as he used to be. Whatever they're paying him, it isn't enough. The family that owns the place must have read all the negative reviews about service. The grumpy old dad is nowhere to be seen, and the son and daughter are far more attentive now. Probably the radical change of venue cheered them up immensely. The daughter smiles now; the son, well, no one's ever seen him smile, I'm sure, but hopefully the new digs will cheer him up. They are also willing to work with local coaches and teams with orders and discounts. A HUGE improvement. read more

My husband purchased Adidas cleats a week ago from this store. He went to practice that same day and called me to say that while wearing the shoes he feels pressure under his right foot which is causing pressure to his heart. We decided to go back to the store a week later to see if they can give him another pair( possibly just the right one) since the left one was fine. Their owner, i don't even know his name, was THE most rudest person i have ever met. Ive worked in retail for 15 years and he treats his customers like trash. You should be ashamed of yourself. The fact that he kept on putting blame on Adidas and saying, "oh they will not accept this without an obvious defect" amazed me. The associate that sold the shoe to my husband said you can return if unworn. Wearing the shoe for 30 min is not considered worn. He could have easily worn it at the store and walked around and would be the same thing. They are liars. He goes on to tell my husband to sell the shoes to his friends. WHY would he sell something to his friends knowing it has an issue???? He wouldn't even give it for free! I ended up calling Adidas and they sent me an email to take pictures of the shoes and to explain what was happening. The fact the the man over the phone showed more sympathy to us than the store owner just showed what a horrible person it is. He goes on to say he will give us a huge discount for his next purchase. The customer service in this establishment is horrible. My husband purchased Mercurial Superfly V and after two games the shoe began to come apart by the plate. We tried to exchange the boots but the manager said they didn't view it as a defect which is comical, the boot was separating from the plate. First, I was in the store for 10 minutes and had to seek out someone to ask questions. Second, I'm a 6.5 in women's, but they do not carry any cleats in women's sizes. An entire room of the store is devoted to cleats and they do not carry a single pair in women's. Maybe there was a large youth size or small men's size that could have worked, but I don't know because the useless salesman just said they don't have anything in women's and didn't offer any info beyond that. Horrible, horrible customer service. I bought a pair of soccer shoes for my 9 year old son for his birthday for $200. He tried them on, wore them around the house and they caused terrible blisters. I took them back to the store in the original box with my original receipt -- and no luck. The manager refused to return them, exchange them or provide a store credit. I explained to him that we were good Pro Soccer customers and had shopped there for years. He didn't care -- just said tough luck. I am now stuck with $200 worn once nike soccer shoes for my 9 year will never wear. Take my advice -- don't buy Nike anything here. Buy from Nike.com or a Nike store -- they will always return things that do not fit. They have excellent customer service. I needed new leather cleats and picked up the Nike premier 2 they were relatively inexpensive. They can't be bought online and shipped into California so them carrying the cleats was perfect. The people were helpful and let me try on many cleats before deciding. Checkout was easy and the cashier was friendly. read more
