I just can't say enough how much I love coming to this salon for my pedicure. The service is outstanding from the owner down to the staff. When you arrive they first ask if you would like water or coffee. I always go for the Vietnamese coffee. I usually see Lee for my pedicure but the whole staff is good at what they do. That leg/foot massage at the end of my pedicure had all the stress leave from my body. The massage chair is extremely relaxing too. My whole family comes here. I came in as a walk-in for a mani-pedi. The place is well-lit and spacious. They have a good selection of nail colors. Things were looking good when I walked in. I was really unsatisfied with the manicure portion of the service. It was rushed and just felt really unhygienic. They girl filing my nails sprinkled nail dust all over the seat, my water bottle, and my arms. Then, she didn't let me wash my hands so she ended up massaging lotion and nail dust into my skin. I felt SO gross. also, she didn't wear gloves and her hands were extremely rough. The pedicure was a little better, but I was so put off by my mani that I just couldn't enjoy the experience. I also don't like that they touch the cuticle oil/lotion bottle to the customer's skin, because I believe that transmits bacteria/fungus between customers. read more

Came here because it had decent reviews on yelp. Needed a quick gel manicure before my trip. Gel manicure ran me $27 which I'd say is average. The manicure itself was not great. The file that my technician used must have been old because my nails were ragged not to mention very crooked. I asked her to file it again (I just asked once). She filed it but multiple nails were still slanted. So I thought maybe she just can't see that they aren't straight. I will say that she spent quite some time with me since there was not that crowded. Since she had more time, she went to town on my cuticles. Am I happy with my manicure? Meh. Don't expect anything great. I think there are better places. Color selection: huge. Cleanliness: very clean. Parking: some parking in the back, which was nice. Overall: I don't think I will be back. I went here yesterday with a girlfriend around noon and it was completely empty. It was a Wednesday and we got a SPA manipedi for $22! It's their special price from m-w. There was a man and a woman and I think the man mostly does the feet and the woman did our hands. They switched off cleaning but I didn't get my nails painted but I wanted French tip on my toes so the lady left after my manicure did my friends manicure then did her toes. The guy ended up painting my toes which confused me... I don't understand why she didn't just finish up with me. I was a bit jealous thought because she does a better job with the french tip than the man after comparing pedicures with my girlfriend afterwards. Otherwise the whole experience was good. They had a tv, things were pretty clean and neat. They had a good selection of OPI colors and the seats were comfy. I will definitely come again for their spa manipedi special! read more

I visited Pristine Nails & Spa for a gel mani and regular pedi with Nancy & Lee respectively. Disclaimer: I am extremely picky and both ladies surpassed my expectations. Diane, the owner is welcoming and accommodating. There is a great number of gel colors from brands including OPI, DND, IBD etc. similarly a great number of regular polishes too. Lee has amazingly strong hands and gives great massages and is thorough with her pedicures. Nancy is incredibly gentle, and also very thorough in her work. I've also tried Tracy, she is also incredible. I am happy with the new management (Diane) and the service has improved so much under her although I did like the former management but something was definitely lacking. This salon has my recommendation so give it a shot, you won't be disappointed! :) read more

My 6 year old son and I called for last minute gel pedicures and were treated so wonderfully and left with the prettiest toes. I always have a positive experience, they are quick, meticulous and very inexpensive. They do a great job and my manicures usually last a while. (That's saying a lot considering I'm known for breaking, scratching and otherwise destroying my nails) There were two times that my nails chipped within the day (which sucks cause I hadn't even put them under my usual wear and tear at that point). I finally found a great mani/pedi place on Glendale that I would actually come back to!!! This place is clean and all the workers are super nice and polite. They're all detail oriented and pay attention to all the nooks and crannies of your nails making sure you walk out of there with beautiful and polished fingers and toes! They also give you a nice, cold bottle of water to enjoy while you're getting pampered. Prices are very reasonable and their work is superb. I work with my hands and I change gloves about 200 times a day. Having a nice manicure is not a luxury for me, it's a necessity. I've been getting gel manicures for 4 years now and have tried many salons. This is my favorite. First and foremost, the technicians are very nice and thorough. Since my hands get a brutal beating form the gloves and sanitizers, they tend to dry out and crack. The techs make it mission to restore them back to cleanliness and health. Cuticles are left looking immaculate and the polish is applied to perfection directly at the cuticle-nail juncture without any fuzzies, bumps or streaks. My nails polish lasts no less than 2 and a half weeks! Their gel manicure color palate is as extensive as their regular polish palate and the techs are able to match them to a T when I get a pedi. I wanted to give them 4 stars but my nails started chipping 2 days later!! And I also realized that the pedicure person did not put a top coat on my toes.... When I first got to the nail salon, I was really excited since yelp was raving about it. When I called to make an appointment for three people, the main guy said to come in around 530 or after 630. We came around 530 and was asked to return back at 630 because they were busy. Since I wasn't in a hurry and could run couple of errands I said okay. When I finally came back at 630 two of us got seated right away and I waited 20more minutes. That was fine since they were really busy and it seemed like they were trying to do their best nail jobs for each customer. It seems like they are very popular thus the long wait time. I got a mani pedi ($26), one got a mani ($12) and another got a pedicure ($17) and callous removal ($10 extra). Everyone got a half bottle of water to drink while getting our nails done. Their callous removal isn't worth the $10. My mother has gotten callous removal every month and she still had callous after her treatment. When she complained, one of the ladies said she needs to get multiple callous treatment. When we explained to her that my mother regularly gets it, they sat her down again and redid her feet. They didn't give us dirty looks but were courteous when they re-did my mother's heel. The result after the 2nd treatment was still not satisfactory but we didn't want to stay any longer. I felt good after my manicure/pedicure but couple days later I was really really disappointed. I found out that my toes did not have a top coat on at all, and my nails already started chipping two days ago. I also had nasty cuticles couple days later. See picture. I could get a much better deal for $20 mani/pedi which could last me at least a week or two. Maybe I just came on a busy night. I don't know. The wait, the results, and everything else all panned out to being a 3 stars place. UPDATE: the owner messaged me back saying why I didn't tell the whole truth.... There is nothing on my review that wasn't the truth... we came in 440 because the guy said to come in before 530 or after 630. But when we got there, they were really busy, and told us to come back at 630. That's EXACTLY what we did though we were late about 10 mintues, I called them and told them we were running a little late. I appreciate that they were trying to make their customers happy and even worked on customers after their closing hours, and I have grudge against them. I just did not like my experience there and thus my review of 3 stars. read more

Even though I moved 40 minutes away from Glendale a few years ago, I still make the drive here because it's both affordable and clean (and trust me I HATE driving so this says a lot). Whether you come in an as a walk-in or make an appt, they're almost always good with time and make sure you are taken care of. There were only a couple instances where one of the ladies and one young man was too rough with cleaning my nails that caused bleeding and pain... but majority of the time, the service overall has been a pleasure for me. A big plus, is there is a small parking lot for them and if that lot is full, you could always find a spot by the neighborhood even though it's a little bit of a walk. read more

I needed a manicure done before my friend's wedding on Friday and knew that I did not want a place similar to wear I got my manicure for NYE (pricey & yet the service wasn't great ) Overall, I was very satisfied with my visit. The staff were welcoming, professional, and the place is clean and orderly. Unfortunately, I forgot to ask the name of the woman who had done my nails, but she was awesome! I had shown her a photo of another customer's nails done from their nail salon and she was able to replicate the photo without using acrylic as the customer in the photo had done. My nails look so pretty and shaped perfectly that my mom thought it was acrylic when I showed her later that night. As I was observing the manicurist, I noticed how attentive she is to the smallest detail and I loved that! She was professional, easy to talk to, and made me feel confident in her work. I think I've finally found my manicurist. I'll make sure of it to go back and ask her for her name for my follow up. I seriously can't stop staring at my nails. Lol! Love it!!! read more

The shop is very clean, they are extremely reasonably priced, and my favorite, they have massage chairs without an extra charge to sit in them for a pedicure. I've been going to this place for a couple of years now. My gel manicures last 3+ weeks (with OPI polish) when Jessie does my nails, and I am pretty rough on my nails. I would suggest making an appointment, as they are always pretty busy. I usually call and am able to make a same day appointment. Love love love this place. Don't forget cash only for tips! They have an ATM there, but there is a $2.50 surcharge. $1 charge for using a credit/debit card. Best to pay with cash, really. read more

The technician Sarah was very nice however she cut me which hurt a lot and the polish was done poorly, it looks like it's melting off my fingers. There's also a lot of sides/ridges left unpolished. On top of that there's an additional $3 charge for using OPI polish I don't understand why when there's so many salons where OPI brand is just standard.
