Lukewarm at best and the fruit that came with my eggs Benedict tasted like they prepped it a week ago and it sat in the refrigerator uncovered. It was mostly rice with tiny tidbits of ahi tuna on top and cucumber slices. Several fancy homemade potato "chips" adorned the bowl. They were tasty. My friend had the chicken sandwich with pesto and mozzarella on focaccia bread. The chicken was tough and difficult to eat as a sandwich. My other friend had the beet salad. She said it was good but had too much of their homemade ricotta in the salad and too many toasted pecans. The service was good, not great. The prices, for lunch, were steep. It had been a very long time since I had dined here and now I am sad that I had not come back more often. I couldn't get a reservation, but I was able to walk in and get 2 seats at the bar. I never mind sitting at the bar as I feel that the service is sometimes better, and I can see what others are ordering before I order my meal. This restaurant happens to have 3 bars. 1 upstairs and 1 downstairs in the main building and then 1 more outside on the dock area. There is outside seating at tables that are great because you will have a nice view of the intercoastal waterway. The menu is pretty big and the prices are pretty steep but I think of this restaurant as a special occasion type of place. We started with the smoked fish spread, which was a very generous portion. I liked the crisp flatbread crackers for the vessel of eating the spread. Then we went onto our entrées. On this visit, we happened to catch a weekend special for some of their seafood dishes. I had the lazy man lobster, which had a very good amount of stuffed lobster into the lobster body and then baked. The lobster didn't come with any claws, but there was very little filler to bind the lobster meat. The flavor was nice, and the steamed greenbeans were a perfect side. My husband had the plantain crusted snapper, and he really enjoyed it. The fish was flaky, and the topping was crisp and not soggy from the fish. Complimentary valet parking is a must as there are not more than a few parking spaces in the direct vicinity of the restaurant. I sat at the bar and had 1-2 the Perfect Magaritas and they were very smooth but small for the price. When my guests arrived we were seated outside as requested. Waited was busy. We were in no hurry. Order a Thai Shrimp, very good, 2 smash burgers too well done for our liking, reg fries great , sweet potatoes not so much. I had the Grilled Salmon, very small piece, vegetables were cold, was not worth mentioning since waiter was very busy and did not swing back to check on us till we were almost finished. All was Tasty. No salt or pepper on the table, we did not notice till we started our meal and no waiter in sight to ask , as well as sweetener for the Ice Teas. We had drinks before the meal at the table and an after a desert Martini & a Coffee with Bailys & Kalhua but the coffee was coolish. Not very impressed for a place with its history and location , they should be on top of these things sorry to say it may be another 6 years before I go back. It was delicious and fresh. I ordered the pecan grouper. It was so tasty. I also tasted the halibut and snapper. They were also delicious. I was torn between which one I liked best. My friend and I had the pineapple dole martinis. They are made with house-made pineapple-I fused vodka. They are infused for two weeks, and were very refreshing. My husband had the coconut cream pie. We walked in to be put on the waitlist for a table outside, were told it's a 45 minute wait but we can have any high top at the bar for drinks to lunch. The salmon was small for the price but not over cooked. The salad was drenched in dressing and there were more croutons than salmon, as you can see in the photo. This is my husband's and my go to place on the weekends to sit at the outside bar. I came with other family members this time. We were seated outside. The service was fantastic. Family members ordered the Keylime martini. The rim was graham cracker salt (?). We expected it to be graham cracker and sugar. Was not a fan. The prime mixed grill was served with one smallish overcooked lobster tail, dried out shrimp, and properly cooked scallops. For $56 we would've expected the seafood to be cooked correctly. The snapper was very good. I had the beet and green salad which I've had many times but for some unknown reason, it had a lot of heat in it this time. It appears as though there were red pepper flakes. Not sure why they would add this. it was not pleasant. four people the total with tip was about $435 which included eight drinks. I realize it's on the water, but the prices seem to be getting out of control. The inconsistency of the food is disturbing. read more

Our waitress was lots of fun and had a great understanding of their entire menu. Her descriptions made it very easy to choose. We sat on the deck even though the weather turned awful. Used to be my favorite spot and must go to for every visit, we have gone to PC for over 20 years- many times per year. Was super disappointed they got rid of twice baked potatoes last year (bar tender said they sold 600 per night, so not sure why, unless it was too much of a bother). Went for my birthday, now they got rid of the grouper. The Tristan tails that used to be $48 (for two) is now $56 (for one). The tail was fine, not tender, not fantastic. The food is okay, the cost is pretty high. The view is amazing, but probably not worth the cost. So many other places with amazing food. Makes me sad. read more

Ordered the coconut crusted halibut from the house specials menu and it was fantastic. Light, flaky perfectly cooked halibut that tasted very fresh with a delicious coconut crust and sweet mango glaze underneath with coconut rice and topped with a delicious slaw. A very ample portion. I tasted from a few others at my table - the honey almond snapper and the grilled swordfish - Both were amazing!! Mom had the beer battered fish and chips and although not a fish lover, she really enjoyed it, the fish was light and flaky with a beautiful batter crust. I tried the fries and they were crispy and delicious. Literally everything that came to our table was memorably delicious. And for all that it is, the prices are reasonable and no extra ridiculous fees for credit card etc. Will return without question. read more

Medium-rare is never gray and well done.The thing todo then was comp something but that didn't happen. Felt like the manager was afraid of the kitchen staff or the Chef. Mussels were ordered and there were 10 in the order for $20.00. Mussels aren't that expensive. Maybe just ran out of product in which case you 86 the item from menu. We have had great experiences here but lately it is hit n miss, mostly miss. Service was good but may need to clean house before season and get consistent staff in. read more

First time here on Christmas Eve for dinner. The staff is friendly and they had the place decorated very cute for the holidays. There is a second floor that you can take either the stairs or the elevator up to, which I thought was super cool! Our server was amazing, she kept on top of refills and anything else we needed. The food was fantastic!! You obviously cannot go wrong with any of the seafood here, I would highly recommend trying a cup of the crab soup -- it was so good and creamy. I was certainly surprised. beautiful view on the water which makes this restaurant four stars, we sat outside. I had a salad with salmon on it. We also had fish and chips and also the halibut wine and beer no dessert service the waitress was very nice but the service was very slow complementary valet parking, which is good j that I was happy to say, if you want to sit on a pretty outdoor patio watching the boats go by not that I saw any this would be a place to come for dinner or lunch it's all updated the area around. Prime Catch always catches my eye as I cross the bridge heading towards the beach. I finally made the bold decision to go one day for happy hour and I am so glad I did. While the inside is very upscale and beautiful, the outside bar has margaritaville vibes. The staff is super friendly and very helpful when it comes to deciding what to eat. They have a pretty large drink menu, but after sampling a few cocktails I decided sticking with a basic margarita was the best option. It's perfectly crafted and gets the job done! Their food is delicious. They have a bar menu that is always available if you ask, and it has some great, affordable options. They have a super yummy burger that is served with fries for around $15! Can't beat that price. The views are also incredible. You are literally on the water, meaning you get to feel the constant breeze. You can relax while watching boats drive by. It's very peaceful and is an excellent place to hang out. I love meeting friends here and having a few drinks as the sun goes down. read more
