#6 matcha milk tea with red bean white pearl $can6.7
    Paul A.

I had matcha milk tea with boba and red bean. The flavor of matcha is intense and strong. I could tell when I first see the cup. The taste was very satisfying. Unlike some other places where you could not get the flavor of the tea.

A nice new bubble tea shop on the bottom level of guildford mall. Usually I prefer going to Coco, however this location has much better seating and is located in a busier part of the mall. The drinks are everything you would expect at a typical bubble tea shop, and the prices ~$5, typical as well. My blueberry tea was okay, nothing special. The grass jelly milk tea was a bit better, nothing special, but still not bad. Overall, a nice place to take a break while shopping and sip on some tea.

Service here is A++! My partner and I were helped by a Caucasian man who really knew the teas well. He gave us a sample of the Hokkaido milk tea which was a nice creamy tea with a hint of the green rice tea you'd except from a Japanese restaurant. I ordered the rose tiguanyi* milk tea after inquiring about the rose flavour. He showed me the tea bag they used after it was steeped so I could smell the tea leaves better. I thought my drink was a very strong tea flavour. I also appreciated that the cashier prompts you on the ice/sugar customization as a previous review stated. My only qualm with this place is that the drinks are a little pricey given the portions, but aside from that, this place has lots of options and tastes yummy. *spelling may be incorrect

Menu is pretty extensive and there are many different sizes. Smaller rice bowls at cheaper prices were available as well as more expensive meal sets. Even cheaper meals combos are available for students. Once we ordered food, it took a pretty long time to come (at least half an hour), considering that there were only 3 total customers in the restaurant. However the food was very delicious when it did come. The sole waitress was pretty much on her phone at another table the entire time apart from serving the food. The food is very good though. I would definitely return again just for the fried chicken alone. The pork chop dish that we ordered was also delicious.

This place has been around for many years but I've only now gotten around to trying it…read more It's a cute little place. The walls are decorated with pictures from Europe and the teacups are very "British." Besides scone and tea, you can get regular food here as well such as fries, salt & pepper chicken, and radish cake to name just a few. You can also get cold drinks like juice & bubble tea, and bubble tea drinks here too. So...not your typical British style Afternoon Tea joint. Kind of half restaurant, half tea place. My friend had a pot of Leisure Fresh Fruit tea and a scone. We'd already had lunch a bit earlier and while my friend had room for a scone, I had zero room in my stomach for any food so I just had a pot of Longan Red Date tea. It was a cold day so a pot of hot tea really hit the spot. I thought it a bit pricy at first, but when the tea came, I saw that the teabags were Fortnum & Mason teabags. That is a very a prestigious company from all the way over in England. When I realized we were drinking Fortnum & Mason tea, all of a sudden $10.25 didn't seem so extravagant any more. My friend said her scone seemed like more of a biscuit than a scone. It came with butter and jam. I think she wished there had been some clotted cream to go with it. I can't say too much about the food as I only had one pot of tea but I was impressed that it was Fortnum & Mason tea, and I very much enjoyed the flavor of the Longan & Red Dates in my tea.
