I used to go here few times during lunch break from work. My last visit here was about 2-3years ago and Thursday was my recent visit. My go to drink is Pearl Milk Tea and maybe Taro Sago Milk Tea or other flavours once in awhile. My drink was great and pearls were squishy. I really miss getting their promo emails for discounted drinks and the promo email hasn't been sent out for some time. Service was fast. I walked away happily craving bbt after work. I haven been to Coco several times when I was in Vietnam but this is my first time in Vancouver. I asked the girl working there about the sweetness and she said regular would be fine. But it's not. It's too sweet for either me, an Asian girl or my Canadian friend to drink. So why I still give it 3 stars? The bright side is that, their boba is quite good. It's not just chewy but also have some mild flavor with it. The place is clean and nice. I like their photos of different types of tea with its name, informative and cool. The music is great (this one is personally because these songs are more from my childhood time :p) Overall, I may come back to try with a lower choice of sweetness. read more

I got the (buy one get one free) BOGO promo off uber eats and so $7.35 (with pickup) was pretty cheap for 2 bubble teas!! I got the 3Q milk tea and I absolutely loved the drink! It includes sweet potato pearls and regular pearls! it was some of the chewiest pearls I ever tasted! The flavours are a little subtle but you can definitely differentiate between pearls. It is also super refreshing and really glad that I got the drink. I love the milk tea but it was a little too sweet for my taste. I would recommend to get 30% or 50% sweetness. I came in for my favorite drink the pearl milk slush but they told me they weren't offering it and that it was seasonal. From all the times I've gone here this drink has never been seasonal. Other CoCo locations told me they have it and that it wasn't a seasonal item. Stop the cap. read more

My housemates had lots of good things to say about this new store, so I had to come try it. Pretty good location -- minutes from the Canada Line station but not right by that busy intersection. Parking isn't too easy to find though -- a lot of the nearby streets are permit-only (we parked in one of those under the assumption that ~10min would be ok). Very cute storefront, and soo many menu options. I decided to try the fresh taro special with bubbles. The small size was just right for me (the large is huge). My expectations for the taro wasn't very high, but it turned out absolutely amazing. The bubbles were just right as well. No complaints and definitely would come back! read more

Came for late night bubble tea fix. Open until 11 pm on Thursday night. Very few places open that late in Vancouver. There should be more late places ! This location is newish and was clean. Washrooms spacious and tidy. But they had just cleaned at this hour just before closing. Lots of seating. I ordered the roasted milk tea with pudding. Half sweet and less ice. The tea was a little too creamy for me. Roasted tea was good but I prefer cha time roasted milk tea. I would like to come back and try something else. Great bubble tea chain with potential. [Marine Gateway BBT] Coco's newest location is a solid choice in an area fairly devoid of tasty Bubble Tea options. It's conveniently located across the Marine Gateway station in a small space with table seating for 15 or so. Given the amount of foot traffic in the area, it's not a place I'd go with a group expecting a table to hangout for a while. Coco's got a good reputation as a tea-based BBT retail chain and this new shop doesn't disappoint. Service is quick and efficient. The menu isn't extremely extensive but all the usual options are available. I opted for a traditional lemon black tea while my other half went with the 3 Guys (Milk tea with grass jelly, pudding, and tapioca pearls). Both were good but the latter was definitely tastier (and heavier on the calories and sugar). At over $5 per drink, it's a tad on the pricey side but a small price to pay for quality. (Note: Credit cards are accepted with a 25c surcharge) My only real qualms are the lack of parking in the area (it IS a skytrain station after all), and the fact they're only open till 10pm. Another Coco location that has popped up in the Greater Vancouver area. This one located right smack at Cambie and SW Marine Drive corner close to the MC squared condo complex and nearby the Marine Drive Skytrain station. This location is quite tiny... probably the smallest location compared to the other out there. They don't have a lot of space to begin with once you walk in. There is giant concrete pillar a bit in the way so if the line gets long people are out the door. It has very limited seating and only 2 large tables that can accommodate a larger group of people. There is window seating but squishy. I tried out there roasted milk tea which I never tried before and wanted to see how it compared to Chatime's roasted milk tea. The taste is sorta comparable to Chatime's but there is still a distinct taste difference between the two. 30% sugar is what I had gotten, maybe next time ill go 50% to see if there is any similarities between the two. Tried their signature drink 3 guys a while ago and it's not bad! But just alot of toppings! When I had gone it was around 9:30 at night on my Monday so it wasn't too busy and the staff seemed to have gotten the hang of things on what to do, because it's notorious when a new bubble tea place opens it seems like the staff never even got trained before and are just being thrown into the job and learning on the go lol. Parking is non existent here so don't plan on stopping nearby to think you can just hop out and grab a drink... the only street parking is on Cambie which is literally underneath the skytrain but you can only park like literally 5 cars... No help... unless you park on 64th nearby the houses and walk a bit. Convenient for people nearby the area within walking distance and people getting off the Skytrain but not good for parking and people who drive alot. read more

I was hesitant to try this because Toronto's was just average. But I really like it. I find that milk tea in Vancouver is much more flavourful and rich, whereas Toronto is very diluted. Large milk tea ($4.80) has a nice deep tea flavour, served in a tall skinny cup. Bubbles are a tad hard, could be cooked a minute longer. Would come back. read more

Grabbed bubble tea on my way home the other day after work. I got the roasted milk tea with pearls and the matcha green tea with red beans. Both were super delicious and made incredibly quickly! The space was clean and modern. The only reason I really docked a star was because of the price. I guess it's pretty on par with chains like ChaTime or Bubble Queen vs. holes in the wall like L&G or Dragonball. read more

The service you get today isn't gonna be a reflection of the service you get tomorrow. Ease up a bit... I feel bad for these guys now, 1 star 2 star? The employee miscounted my change there was no line, I wasn't in a rush... yeah I could doc them a star for that but seeing how people are so brash when it comes to reviewing.. I think these guys need a little break. Don't listen to the reviews guys, give this place a chance.. Its a good thing that places are popping up around marine drive, don't scare away the lack of places to eat/drink/chill around here since its already lacking. I personally prefer Coco over Chatime. I usually get the roasted pearl milk tea which is ~$5? A bit pricey but it is worth it! i usually get 70-80% sugar and 70-80% ice. It was my first time at this location. This location is nicely located close to the theatre. I went there on a Sunday evening and it was quiet. I have purchased so many bbts from coco and it was the first time i saw their belly card. It was displayed out in the open and the cashier kindly answered all my questions. I think i could have earned 3 or 4 free drinks by now. (I normally go to the new surrey location. Perhaps they are not included in the belly program that is why i have never seen the belly card. Convenient if you live in the Marine Drive area or travel to/from the Skytrain...that said parking would be a challenge unless you street park or use the garage under Marine Gateway. Most nights lines are short and service is quick with quality product and no issues. Not a lot of seating so don't always expect a spot with a large group. Been here twice already as it's very close to my work. Both times slush is too thick to drink and full of huge ice chunks that did not blend properly. My blender at home can make better slush. Also taro tasted like nothing the second time, no flavor at all. The hours are very bad, should open before 3pm and stay open past 10. I hope it will get better after it's open for a while read more
