三兄弟 (3 Guys) - boba, pudding and grass jelly
Tiff H.

Looks like a new Coco location! I love Coco and wish we had one in Atlanta. My favorite order is the 三兄弟 (3 guys) - Milk Tea with Boba, Grass Jelly and Pudding. A little sweet but so delicious - 30% sugar level is perfect for me. I didn't find anything wrong with this location - there was a good amount of seating and my drink came out just as I wanted it. Parking was slightly limited thanks to the parking lot being shared with many other stores and shops. Overall, this Coco was on point!

Got to try the Brown Sugar BBT after hearing its one of the bests from the Brown Sugar Line. Was a bit disappointed with the taste though. It reminded me of the leftover milk remaining after a bowl of cereal. Basically cereal milk. The drink was not overly sweet though which I liked, and the pearls were one of the bests that I've had so far, the texture was nice and chewy, full of flavor. Tip from the worker at coco, do not shake the brown sugar drink, stir as you drink instead. The worker saw how vigorously I was shaking the drink and came over to tell us this haha. We also got the Taro Sago drink and it was super yummy! Tasted almost like you were having a dessert! Would recommend only 50% sugar though, that's what we got and we thought it was sweet enough already.

Visited: Feb 4, 2018 We actually buy bubble teas from this Coco weekly, that's how much we love Coco. (i.e. to the point that the staff would recognize my hubby and punch in the order before he even reached the counter) The sweetness and ice level of the drinks is always on point and we've tried a majority of the drinks on the menu and we haven't been disappointed yet. For this particular visit, because it's Chinese New Year's eve, they gave us a red envelope that contains a free drink coupon to use until February 28, 2019. Also, as an intense lover of brown sugar bubble tea, Coco's version is very decent! If you crave a brown sugar BBT and don't want the wait or hassle of other shops, just go here, it does the job just fine. Ordered: Passionfruit and Mango slush with salty cream Coco Milk Tea

Tried their new bubble teas (Strawberry Latte w/ Pearls and Brown Sugar MilkTea). I first thought the Strawberry Latte would a weird mix, but it turned out wayyyyyy better than I expected. I love how they added strawberry meat in there and made it extra fruity. Would definitely recommend it! For the Brown Sugar MilkTea, the pearls are not as chewy as I'd like it to be. Nothing much special about it...

Cashier seems really unhappy with something... no smile... when we order green tea with salty foam, she asked for sugar. We were like could we get 80% sugar. She simply gave us an eye roll and tapped on the screen said we don't have 80%. So we ordered 70%. I believe there will be a better way to suggest us that they don't do 80% sugar, which is basically the same as 70%.

Came here for bbt. It's my go to bbt when I crave for one. This location is in the central richmond. Clean. Typical coco bubble tea decoration. (The one in marine gateway area is nicer. )Not a lot of tables to sit down. But easy to find parking because it's in a plaza.

Coco has good bubble tea but not super delicious. I feel like it's pretty over priced... but all the "new" bubble tea places opening up are all over priced. It was $5.75 for a large matcha milk tea with pearls and for the 3 guys milk tea it cost $6... I get that you get pearls, pudding and grass jelly but I'm sure you could get it cheaper elsewhere. It's definitely not my favourite go-to bubble tea place in Richmond, however if I want a change of taste from my regular bubble tea place (aka Bubble world) then I would probably come here.

One of my favorite bbt places to go to when I lived in Taiwan was at Coco's, I can't believe I haven't gone to the location in Richmond till now, brings back a lot of childhood memories i got their Bubble Gaga--passion fruit tea with pearls and jelly, on the right is their Brown Sugar Pearl latte

Coming from the Bay Area my standard for bubble tea is pretty high. This place is pretty average in terms of menu selection and tea quality.

He rang us up, then ran behind curter to make our drinks. It didn't seem too busy here so maybe it was manageable for him. I personally tried the cheese foam black tea with mochi and golden pearls which costed close to 10CAD. The cheese foam was slightly salty and pretty creamy, and the taste is much more pronounced when you dip the plain mochi into the drink. The mochi itself was slightly soft though a bit uneven in texture as some parts are chewy and some parts are already a little bit dry. I do like they nicely wrapped the mochi in a plastic bag to preserve the moisture, though I ended up trying it out immediately to get the maximum freshness. The tea itself is flavorful and not too sweet, which is what I intended because I opted for light sugar (30%). The golden pearls were pretty chewy and are the right preferred texture. While I liked the general quality of the drinks, like other reviews mentioned, the price of the drinks are a bit on the higher end but the quality did not really scale up compared to a good boba spot.

The walls are decorated with pictures from Europe and the teacups are very "British." Besides scone and tea, you can get regular food here as well such as fries, salt & pepper chicken, and radish cake to name just a few. You can also get cold drinks like juice & bubble tea, and bubble tea drinks here too. So...not your typical British style Afternoon Tea joint. Kind of half restaurant, half tea place. My friend had a pot of Leisure Fresh Fruit tea and a scone. We'd already had lunch a bit earlier and while my friend had room for a scone, I had zero room in my stomach for any food so I just had a pot of Longan Red Date tea. It was a cold day so a pot of hot tea really hit the spot. I thought it a bit pricy at first, but when the tea came, I saw that the teabags were Fortnum & Mason teabags. That is a very a prestigious company from all the way over in England. When I realized we were drinking Fortnum & Mason tea, all of a sudden $10.25 didn't seem so extravagant any more. My friend said her scone seemed like more of a biscuit than a scone. It came with butter and jam. I think she wished there had been some clotted cream to go with it. I can't say too much about the food as I only had one pot of tea but I was impressed that it was Fortnum & Mason tea, and I very much enjoyed the flavor of the Longan & Red Dates in my tea.

This location is the one I tend to come across the most cause I usually am visiting the mall. The shop sticks out with it's red design. It's just a pretty small boba vendor shop that's kind of hidden away. The menu is basically a screen running a video so that it animates and loops. There's quite of a selection of drinks on it though. Most of them are on the sweeter side with their cookies and cream shake. They've got a lot of crazy drinks going on, but I'm a simple man that likes his simple drinks and lately, I've been very much into the #8 fresh jade lemon green tea. Because the drinks are pretty sweet I usually adjust it to like 75% sweetness. I also adjust the ice level to get more for my buck and ask for less ice. Hard to judge boba shops in my opinion. Especially since any adjustments I make to my drink is on me and not on the shop. Service was quite fine. Only one person was on the job when I was there, but I've seen two people there before. One to make drinks and the other manning the cashier. Overall, I thought my drink turned out fine. Just have to adjust by trial and error to get the right sweetness down for yourself. If you come across one of these shops, check it out.

It could be served hot or cold. The osmanthus flavour did come through but the drink tasted watery overall, not sure if it was because we chose cold and there was ice. Large accessible parking lot made the store easy to pick up drinks. If you dine-in, there is plenty of seating in the store.
