After calling to get a quote and an attempt to coordinate a meeting to get a key made, I felt that Elliot was a rude and sounded like a miserable guy that has been overworked for a long time. Initially, he answered his phone while he was on another job and was too busy and rushed to talk to me, he needs some help with the customer service side of his business. He also had problems with his texts going through and was very hard to communicate with. After finding a more convenient and cheaper alternative, I went with someone else and I informed his colleague of this. Hours later, Elliott tried to lecture me by text that it I inconvenienced him because I chose to take my business elsewhere and he cut a key in preparation for the job that I had never asked for. An unfortunate soul decided to not only break into my vehicle but determine that it's a perfectly good idea to force the ignition key to twist to get away with my car. It's a good thing that modern cars are equipped with immobilizer to prevent the car theft but not such a good thing that people who engage in such selfish and criminal acts do not have the wherewithal to understand that modern cars are nearly impossible to steal without the corresponding keys. A long story short, I was left with a car that I couldn't start because of the busted ignition switch. After about eight calls, I called Premier Locksmith who was able to service the ignition key the same day when I found out that I had a busted ignition switch. I initially spoke to "Mike" who then dispatched "Matt" to my neighborhood and within roughly 3.5 hours of the initial call, my car was back in business. If you are a potential criminal looking to make a quick get-away with stolen vehicles, my suggestion is that you try to find a better and honest life. However, the allure of criminal life is so enticing and you need to quench your thirst of stealing other vehicles, either live that fantasy vicariously through games such as Grand Theft Auto or don't bother with modern cars as they have immobilizers that make it nearly impossible to do so. If you are a car owner afflicted by these deficient criminals, do not hesitate to call Premier Locksmith as folks there will find a way to fix your ignition. read more

I never write reviews, but thought Elliot and his team were exceptional. I had originally reached out to another locksmith who was 0.5 blocks from my house to change the locks on my door, but he refused the job because there was a crack in my door and he didn't want the liability. I reached out to a locksmith my building recommended but he didn't respond for over a week and I gave up. Finally, I just searched for the highest rated locksmith and Elliot was my first call because of the reviews. He answered immediately, asked for pics of my door, gave me a quote via text, and scheduled a time that worked for me in less than 5 mins (2 hour window). His quote was also $5 less than the first guy too! Super easy scheduling and communication + good price. I decided not to call anyone else so can't speak too much on pricing, but seemed competitive. During my lock installation, Elliot was on time (even though there was an emergency elsewhere), extremely proficient at installing the door, and answering other customer requests very professionally. He was able to get the old hardware off, cut a new hole (bigger), install everything, rekey my keys, and teach me how to code the keyless entry in ~45 mins. It was amazing. He taught me how to stop the deadbolt from spinning (an issue I read about online but didn't know how to fix) and told me it was an intentional feature, but most people don't know about it and think the lock is broken and needs to be replaced. He even cleaned up the wood debris afterwards! This was all about 2 weeks ago because I wanted to make sure everything was okay before writing anything, and it's been great. I would like to share my experience with Elliot. Recently I have had a problem with my front door lock. We have used Premier Locksmith several times now, up until today just for simple key/lock changes. Elliot and his team are very responsive and have always offered great solutions. Today was a new one for me ... We were locked IN our house. The door was dead-bolted (yes even though we were home) and decided it would just stop working. Luckily, 1. I've known Elliott @ Premier Locksmith for over 15 years. For as long as I've known him he has been a trustworthy and reliable professional. He has always kept his word and he has always conducted business with a high level of precision and integrity. Elliott has come to my aid as an automotive locksmith over 100 times in my career and he finally helped me today on my personal vehicle. I am meticulous on my vehicles and when my keys stopped functioning in my car door locks I knew immediately who to call. Elliott spent the time to figure out the correct fix for my situation and he did a great job on my lock repairs. In under 1 hour all my keys work in all my locks again!! I was prepared to purchase a rekey kit from Toyota for $400 and to pay as much as another $500 in labor if necessary. (I'm an automotive repair estimator. I know the costs of things even if I'm not always able to do the repair myself.) Elliott was able to inspect my locks and advise me that replacing all of the locks was not a necessary step at this time. Instead he disassembled all my locks and adjusted them to compensate for the 15 YEARS of wear & tear on the keys and cylinders. I didn't need any new keys or new locks. I purchased an ignition assembly and keys for my '05 Civic from the internet because the original key was stuck in my ignition. I needed the new set programmed to my car. Got on Yelp and saw the reviews for Premier. I was impressed, but skeptical. Figured I couldn't go wrong, so I got Elliot on the phone. Elliot new exactly what needed to be done over the phone. I met him at a site he was working, cause it was nearby. Elliot cut the key and moved the sensor to my new assembly. He was having a hard time turning the ignition with the new key he made. Took a few minutes of examining the parts, he identified the tumbler on the ignition assembly as an aftermarket replacement. After showing and explaining to me what he found, Elliot quickly disassembled the unit, reworked the tumbler with precision, and reassembled in less than 30 minutes. He refined the smoothness to his liking. Still skeptical, because I still needed to install into my car. Decided to have the lock of my apartment replaced after my tenant moved out and failed to return all of the keys. I Yelped and found a few Locksmiths close to my apartment. Even though it was late almost 8 pm, I texted Premier Locksmith and within minutes Elliott responded. The outer casing for my car key was cracked making it difficult to turn the car key in the ignition. I shopped around and Premier came in with the lowest price, actually half the price of another locksmith.
