Our HOA hired Premier to repair locks and upgrade general building security after a break-in. We evaluated four vendors and Premier stood out for efficiency, competency, responsiveness, and very fair pricing. Premier requested photos of the doors/locks to be repaired and provided estimates based on the photos that proved to be spot-on. Premier prioritizes efficiency in communication and process - i.e., texting - but the response time was rapid and I think that mode of efficient communication lends to its very fair pricing (i.e., lower business overhead costs). I interacted across multiple vendors in our selection process and Premier consistently presented with professionalism, expertise (and a point of view), a solutions-orientation, and a willingness to educate the consumer that I greatly appreciated. I highly recommend. read more

I read the low ratings that had a common theme of being impolite. Upon my first call, I could understand the impression because he was terse. After a few exchanges, however, it was obvious that Elliott was just being very efficient with his time. He was extremely helpful and responsive. My existing lock was a less common high-security devise that would be difficult to breach from the outside, but he knew it well and provided very helpful advice and alternatives solutions. We exchanged quite a number of texts and he always "immediately" (meaning right away) responded. Elliott was a knowledgeable and helpful professional. Just realize he's quite busy and is being efficient with his time. read more

Poor customer service. Elliot was insulting and not friendly. I am a prior customer and that why I always choose this company to work with. Elliot stated he saved my phone number as prior customer failed to pay. He was very short nor had reason for assuming I failed to pay. I canceled my last appt with him last min due to finding my keys. I did. It fail to pay. It was wrong for his accusations and rude demeanor. I'm sure there has been more people who have dealt with his moody attitude. He doesn't seem to enjoy his job, or he just is rude. If your looking to be a subjected to passive aggressive behavior this is your guy. So you all can see how rude and passive aggressive Elliot is.... He obviously was offended by my review.. and he choose to be vindictive to defend his pride. He's not a humble business man.. Elliot used terms like air out dirty laundry.. it sounds like he must has some past unresolved tramas in his life. Once again I did not short anyone. Why would I call you back for a service if I was a long time customer. I take no offense to anything this man says but his choice of words speaks about his character. Once again Elliot is rude passive aggressive and not humble. If you go around scrutinizing people before giving them an opportunity you will sooner then later run into someone who will defend them self. read more

I want to give Premier Locksmith a well deserved five star review. Based upon yelp review, I started calling a few Locksmith to repair my door lock on a Saturday morning. Premier Locksmith responded immediately. With a phone call and a few texts, I got a quote and the guy showed up shortly and did a fantastic job. He went above and beyond to make some adjustment on the door to make the key hole more perfectly aligned. I am very satisfied with the service. read more

I don't even used their services, but I felt obligated to share my experience. They are great! I messaged them through Yelp and got almost an immediate response. My hybrid car didn't start anymore (no lights, the remote didn't work) because it has been parked for two months ish (pandemics). I visited a mechanic and he told me that I needed a locksmith service. When contacting Premier, Elliot was kind and honest in telling me their price to come to my place and check what possibly could be the issue, BUT he also told me that I could save my money and try to do a simple trick by myself. I tried what he said and it worked. I saved my money and simply got my car back running with expending any $. It is great to find honest and trustful professionals like Elliott from Premier Locksmith! Super recommended! read more

Like the previous reviewer, I just spoke to Eliot on the phone. My car garage recommended him when I called them about a problem with my key. Eliot diagnosed the problem from a distance and instantly. Gave me one thing to do, and it was fixed. I felt like a dope but he was kind about it, saying that the problem was easy to diagnose because it happens to so many people. Saved me from freaking out and ruining my day. So I sent him a check in the mail, to thank him. Thanks, Eliot! read more

After calling to get a quote and an attempt to coordinate a meeting to get a key made, I felt that Elliot was a rude and sounded like a miserable guy that has been overworked for a long time. Initially, he answered his phone while he was on another job and was too busy and rushed to talk to me, he needs some help with the customer service side of his business. He also had problems with his texts going through and was very hard to communicate with. After finding a more convenient and cheaper alternative, I went with someone else and I informed his colleague of this. Hours later, Elliott tried to lecture me by text that it I inconvenienced him because I chose to take my business elsewhere and he cut a key in preparation for the job that I had never asked for. An unfortunate soul decided to not only break into my vehicle but determine that it's a perfectly good idea to force the ignition key to twist to get away with my car. It's a good thing that modern cars are equipped with immobilizer to prevent the car theft but not such a good thing that people who engage in such selfish and criminal acts do not have the wherewithal to understand that modern cars are nearly impossible to steal without the corresponding keys. A long story short, I was left with a car that I couldn't start because of the busted ignition switch. After about eight calls, I called Premier Locksmith who was able to service the ignition key the same day when I found out that I had a busted ignition switch. I initially spoke to "Mike" who then dispatched "Matt" to my neighborhood and within roughly 3.5 hours of the initial call, my car was back in business. If you are a potential criminal looking to make a quick get-away with stolen vehicles, my suggestion is that you try to find a better and honest life. However, the allure of criminal life is so enticing and you need to quench your thirst of stealing other vehicles, either live that fantasy vicariously through games such as Grand Theft Auto or don't bother with modern cars as they have immobilizers that make it nearly impossible to do so. If you are a car owner afflicted by these deficient criminals, do not hesitate to call Premier Locksmith as folks there will find a way to fix your ignition. read more

I've hired them 3 separate times over the past year and they've been wonderful each time! Response time is impressively fast and service is exceptional. Highly recommend read more

Used them for years! Great service and very knowledgeable. They are so prompt and responsive. They give you guidance on what would work best for you. read more

Matt arrived amazingly quickly (within 45 minutes), and stuck to his estimate despite doing what seemed to me considerable extra work, including reconfiguring the hole into which our deadbolt fits which may have caused the previous one to fail, etc., etc. He was personable, worked with dispatch, brought everything needed with him to do the job, and the end result could not have been better. Most highly recommended. read more

Had to rekey and have some copies made. Called a few folks but Elliott was by far the most straight forward, clear, and also happened to have a number of great Yelp reviews so I went with his company. He arrived on time, explained a bunch of things in good detail, gave some great tips, and the work was done efficiently and professionally. Also gave me a Yelp discount. I'll definitely be using him in the future for any locksmith needs. read more

I called to have an old deadbolt replaced. Rather than move forward, they were honest and explained that despite the age, the lock was functioning well and recommended to not replace, which I appreciated. I opted to just rekey the lock as a result. They were able to schedule the appointment within hours and completed the work efficiently with care. Highly recommend. read more

I never write reviews, but thought Elliot and his team were exceptional. I had originally reached out to another locksmith who was 0.5 blocks from my house to change the locks on my door, but he refused the job because there was a crack in my door and he didn't want the liability. I reached out to a locksmith my building recommended but he didn't respond for over a week and I gave up. Finally, I just searched for the highest rated locksmith and Elliot was my first call because of the reviews. He answered immediately, asked for pics of my door, gave me a quote via text, and scheduled a time that worked for me in less than 5 mins (2 hour window). His quote was also $5 less than the first guy too! Super easy scheduling and communication + good price. I decided not to call anyone else so can't speak too much on pricing, but seemed competitive. During my lock installation, Elliot was on time (even though there was an emergency elsewhere), extremely proficient at installing the door, and answering other customer requests very professionally. He was able to get the old hardware off, cut a new hole (bigger), install everything, rekey my keys, and teach me how to code the keyless entry in ~45 mins. It was amazing. He taught me how to stop the deadbolt from spinning (an issue I read about online but didn't know how to fix) and told me it was an intentional feature, but most people don't know about it and think the lock is broken and needs to be replaced. He even cleaned up the wood debris afterwards! This was all about 2 weeks ago because I wanted to make sure everything was okay before writing anything, and it's been great. Thank you, Elliot! read more

I would like to share my experience with Elliot. Recently I have had a problem with my front door lock. After one unsuccessful experience and long search for a real professional locksmith I contacted Elliot. He responded quickly and set up an appointment. He is in 5 minutes opened broken lock and re-order new one. He installed a new lock to have the ability to close my front door. To be short with my story - I have a new working front door lock plus 3 other new locks and rekeying 7 locks. As a result, I can say: Elliot is an extremely organized person with vast experience in his profession and not indifferent to the problems of people. He not only solves problems quickly, but also gives acceptable advice on what and how to do. He works quickly, clearly with no unnecessary movement and with deep knowledge of the matter. Thank you very much Elliot for your help and business! Vladimir and Lana. read more

We have used Premier Locksmith several times now, up until today just for simple key/lock changes. Elliot and his team are very responsive and have always offered great solutions. Today was a new one for me ... We were locked IN our house. The door was dead-bolted (yes even though we were home) and decided it would just stop working. Luckily, 1. I keep a screwdriver in the house (toolbox is in the garage) 2. Elliot walked me through taking the trim piece off and I was able to release the mechanism so we could get out and 3. He was able to come by a few hours later to replace the deadbolt very quickly. Great guy and really appreciated his help! read more

Called him with a problem on an interior door latch/lock on an 1890's Victorian. I removed the old lock mechanism and sent him a picture of it. Rather than booking an appointment, he told me how to order an exact replacement part that I could install easily myself. read more

The key door lock on my car had stopped working. I could still open the doors with the remote, but it's never good to have to count on that. I requested quotes through Yelp and Premier responded quickly and offered a discount if I was willing to meet him in the field, which was no problem for me. He magically fixed it in about 25 minutes, charged me the price he quoted, and I was on my way. Easy transaction and friendly service. I'll definitely come back to Premier if I need locksmith services. read more

I've known Elliott @ Premier Locksmith for over 15 years. For as long as I've known him he has been a trustworthy and reliable professional. He has always kept his word and he has always conducted business with a high level of precision and integrity. Elliott has come to my aid as an automotive locksmith over 100 times in my career and he finally helped me today on my personal vehicle. I am meticulous on my vehicles and when my keys stopped functioning in my car door locks I knew immediately who to call. Elliott spent the time to figure out the correct fix for my situation and he did a great job on my lock repairs. In under 1 hour all my keys work in all my locks again!! I was prepared to purchase a rekey kit from Toyota for $400 and to pay as much as another $500 in labor if necessary. (I'm an automotive repair estimator. I know the costs of things even if I'm not always able to do the repair myself.) Elliott was able to inspect my locks and advise me that replacing all of the locks was not a necessary step at this time. Instead he disassembled all my locks and adjusted them to compensate for the 15 YEARS of wear & tear on the keys and cylinders. I didn't need any new keys or new locks. He did this all for very reasonable price and he called it "a piece of cake." Well if it was a piece of cake; It was a triple layer German chocolate fudge cake with cherries on top!! It made my day and fixed my problem. Thanks again Elliott I owe you one !! read more

I purchased an ignition assembly and keys for my '05 Civic from the internet because the original key was stuck in my ignition. I needed the new set programmed to my car. Got on Yelp and saw the reviews for Premier. I was impressed, but skeptical. Figured I couldn't go wrong, so I got Elliot on the phone. Elliot new exactly what needed to be done over the phone. I met him at a site he was working, cause it was nearby. Elliot cut the key and moved the sensor to my new assembly. He was having a hard time turning the ignition with the new key he made. Took a few minutes of examining the parts, he identified the tumbler on the ignition assembly as an aftermarket replacement. After showing and explaining to me what he found, Elliot quickly disassembled the unit, reworked the tumbler with precision, and reassembled in less than 30 minutes. He refined the smoothness to his liking. Still skeptical, because I still needed to install into my car. VERY HAPPY that I trusted the reviews and with the awesome work that Elliot did on my ignition assembly and key. This guy knows his stuff and the stars don't lie, FIVE MORE HERE! read more

Premier did really well for us on our mid-rise and creating a master key tree system. They went above and beyond and adjusted some of the strike-plates and doors, despite the proposal stating they were not responsible for these. We appreciate the work you guys did and I'll be providing your contact info to my colleagues for future commercial building jobs as well. read more

Decided to have the lock of my apartment replaced after my tenant moved out and failed to return all of the keys. I Yelped and found a few Locksmiths close to my apartment. Even though it was late almost 8 pm, I texted Premier Locksmith and within minutes Elliott responded. Elliott asked me to text him photos of the lock / keys and then gave me an estimate which I found to be reasonable. He offered me a few options for the service appointment and we agreed to the one that works best for me two days later. The day of the appointment, Elliott texted me on the way and arrived on time. He knew exactly what he needed to do, have the parts and replaced the lock in 5 minutes. By then I was ready to pay him and let him leave but he wanted to make sure the lock was working properly and found that it was not which had nothing to do with the lock he replaced. He went back to his truck, brought a strike plate, and a screw that was missing and fixed them all. Not only he did not charge me extra, he even gave me a YELP $10 discount!!!f WOW!!! Thank you Elliott! You are awesome！ read more
