I recommend this business. Called to inquire about getting my stuck patio door lock fixed. Problem was diagnosed over the phone with some texting of images and videos. A replacement part was ordered and arrived the next day. We scheduled the installation, Ramon arrived a few minutes early and went right to work. He finished in a flash and it works as good as new. I am a satisfied customer! Thank you read more

This company is precisely what a local business should be: obvious expertise, careful detailed work process, plus time efficient and a great price! Fixed and repaired my residential front door and back French door deadbolt, including some new parts and installation. This is second time using YES and each visit has been a professional, seamless, get it done experience. Highly recommended! read more

I called yesterday and my call was answered immediately. I explained that I needed to change keys as a tenant moved out. Ramon said he couldn't do that day, and to be fair, it was in the evening, but could have someone there tomorrow morning at 8:30 am. I asked for 9 am and Nick arrived promptly. Nick was pleasant and helpful. He tried to reset a smart lock, but without naming the brand, said they didn't always work out. Ultimately, he swapped out the lock, adjusted it so it smoothly bolted and made extra keys. I thought the price was good. I'd definitely call YES Locksmith for any future needs. read more

Very easy to schedule the rekeying of a gate lock. Professional and completed in no time. Recommend!

I called YES because I had issues with a door not closing. Ramon answered super quickly, showed up on the same day, immediately diagnosed the issue correctly and fixed it. He explained everything in great detail and gave me a very competitive quote. Highly recommended! read more

I called YES Locksmith because the shared entrance to our building was not locking. Ramon answered and asked me to send some photos of the lock. I promptly sent him 4 photos and he called me back within 2 minutes and diagnosed what was going on. Nobody had to come check out the lock and Ramon was super helpful. Highly recommend. Didn't even charge me. read more

My front gate was no longer securing. I searched locksmiths based on rating and number of reviews. I called the number provided and I was able to schedule an appointment on the same day. Ramon was the locksmith to help me out on this repair. Ramon was knowledgeable and I paid a reasonable amount. I recommend this business. read more

I asked YES Locksmith for a quote over email, sent photos of the lock that I dismantled to show them what was going on, and they responded with a quote that ended up being exactly what I paid. Service was scheduled on the next day (I was not in a rush) and completed within 20 minutes. I inspected the lock after repair and it's exactly how it should be. The parts replaced match the ones that were there. The receipt details exactly what I paid for. They also recommended another company to install a latch guard that has been forced on my door. YES Locksmith is probably one of the best locksmiths I ever dealt with in my life. Totally recommended. read more

Ramon from YES Locksmith is terrific. I called him around 11 am and he answered right away. I described my issue (gate latch sticking and not working right). I sent him some pictures and he gave me a reasonable quote over the phone. He came out 2 hours later, replaced the latch and charged me less than quoted since he only had to replace one part rather than two parts as initially thought. Super nice guy, would definitely call again. 100% recommended! read more

I've used this locksmith a few times now and have been consistently impressed. They are very professional, very prompt, and very accommodating. Every interaction has been easy and efficient. They show up on time, do exactly what needs to be done, and do it well. I can't say enough nice things about them, their work is solid, and their attitude is even better. Highly recommend. read more

To make a Long review short, I needed a lock replaced and they did it without any issues. To make a Short review long, I called at 7:30am and I believe I spoke with Ramon. Not the most welcoming tone of voice but hey, I did called him at 7:30am so I get it lol. He gave me his cell phone and requested pictures of my lock. After he saw the pictures he gave me a quote, answered my additional questions and I decided to move forward with the service. Note sure why people gave bad reviews when being asked to send pictures of the lock. This is so the technician can ensure they come prepared with the proper equipment and educate the requester on what will need to be done, what type of lock you need replaced and etc. From the time I decided to move forward with the service to when the technician showed up at my house was 34 minutes. He changed the lock, made copies of my existing house key and gave me 3 copies which is what I requested. After being in the military for 9 years, and with all the crime going around, I only want to protect my family. I can't help but think that "what if he made an extra key for himself to break into my house one day?". Not just this locksmith but I would feel that way for any locksmith I hired for their services. This was my first time calling a locksmith, but based on the glowing reviews I'm putting my trust that didn't happen The technician was friendly, easy to talk to was finished in under 30 minutes. I was quoted $290 because my gate is apparently a commercial gate and needed a different kind of lock. Looked up the type of locked I needed and turns out it only cost around $40-50 for a replacement lock. Really high mark up if you ask me, but I also understand businesses have to pay their staff, gas, insurance, vehicle maintenance and adjust for inflation. So it bothers me when I see negative reviews of people saying "iT's eXpEnSive". Like if you want to do it cheaper then find someone who will, or do it yourself. The way i see it, I'm paying someone else to do it so I don't have too. Comes with a 1 year warranty on parts and labor. I'm very happy with the service that was done today and I would recommend them to anyone. read more

Called Yes Locksmith to help me drill new hole in my front door and shifting lock over 3/8" from 2 3/8" offset to 2 3/4" offset. We messaged each other the week before and finally I was ready to make appoint for next week. Ramon had a slot available 3pm and he had everything done within the hour. Ramone helped me via text to figure out what was wrong with my complicated (ie expensive) front door lock system. He was extremely helpful, even without expecting that he would get any business from me. When I ordered the required part, as he suggested, that I needed from the Canadian lock company, I then realized I couldn't fix it myself. He gave me a same-day appt once I had received the part, even though I didn't expect or demand it. He fixed everything with knowledgeable expertise and charged me less than quoted, and certainly very reasonably. I have now filed his contact info and highly recommend him! read more

Called Ramon to talk him through the issue, he was very knowledgable and asked for some videos and pictures. Sent those over and instead of coming himself, he simply told me how to fix it myself and saved me $160. Absolutely incredible, and will 100% use this business any time I can't do it myself. Thanks again Ramon! read more

I called YES Locksmith on a Monday night after getting locked out of my home office, and they were responsive, reasonably priced (I got a few different quotes), fast, and friendly. I CANNOT say enough good things about YES Locksmith. I had an emergency situation where I needed several locks re-keyed at my apartment building right away. I called YES Locksmith and talked to Ramon. It had been a very stressful morning, but Ramon was so kind and understanding. He was able to come to my building in two hours. He was extremely efficient and had the locks re-keyed and made enough copies for all the tenants. I will ALWAYS be grateful that he was able to come by on a Saturday on such short notice. It was an incredible relief to have the locks re-keyed in such a timely manner. Solid, dependable contractors are worth their weight in gold. Not long ago, I had lost my longtime locksmith and have been looking for a new one. I've tried a few other companies before, but now I'm adding YES Locksmith to my list of contacts. I'm done looking. I can't recommend them enough. Thank you, Ramon, for reminding me that not all heroes wear capes. read more

Oh my god!!!! I am so happy I found YES locksmith. I spoke with Ramon originally and he was so helpful on the phone. It was the lowest price I found after calling about six different locksmiths. He had his colleague Vincent at my property within 20 minutes of calling him. It was incredible. Vincent worked so professionally and diligently and had me back in my room with a key made within 3 minutes. No joke!!!! I was so impressed. The entire process was 30 minutes from the first time I called him to keys in hand! What Both of them were so kind and so helpful and I couldn't recommend them more. I called Yes Locksmith this morning for an estimate of my issues with an old deadbolt lock, sent pics to Ramon and he had Nick replacing it right away. After he was done, I tested it out and he made some adjustments and now it's working perfectly. Will definitely use them in the future and recommend them to others! read more

I've called YES twice for a few different things -- to re-key existing locks, to solve a lockout, and two install two different exterior keypad locks. They have been great for all of these. Technicians arrived as planned (communicated one minor delay really well), were resourceful about how to work around existing gate/door conditions, and explained options really clearly. I don't know how competitive the prices are but the service was great so I didn't care. read more

I highly recommend this company! The people are very professional and kind. The quality of service is a 10 out of 10. My car key fell down the sewer drain by my daughter's school and they were able to come to my location to make a new car key. read more

I cannot say enough about how good the service was. My father got locked out of his car at the gas station, I tried calling multiple other locksmiths but it was 6 AM. Ramon was the only one who answered and told me he could be there in little as 30 minutes. His price was very reasonable as well and he got the job done I would say in less than five minutes if even that. Finding a locksmith at that time can be hard and also very costly but Ramon came to the rescue at a great rate and fast service I couldn't ask for better. read more

Twice this month, same two people tried to get into our building, First time, in the middle of the night, with a crowbar on a metal gate but a heavy metal plate kept them from forcing it open after trying for almost an hour. Then they came back a few days ago, this time with a bloom and early in the morning, up the stairs and trying to open the locks of two different doors. We have Ring camera and flood lights but that did not deter them. I called YES Locksmith the next morning shortly after 7 am after a sleepless night. Ramon picked up the phone right away and after I told him what had happened he told me he would be over in the afternoon. Ramon had helped me rekeyed my apartment a few years ago so he was the first person I thought of calling. Right on time, Ramon arrived, inspected the doors, made a few adjustments to the lock which was not working all the time, repaired the metal plate which was bent by the intruders and made a couple of recommendations. To ensure that the door would close and locked every time, he recommended that we replace the hydraulic door opener with a more powerful one. Also to install a protective metal strip on the door. After reviewing his estimate he provided shortly after he left, we decided to move forward with his recommendations. Today, two days after the second attempted break ins, Ramon came back with his door opener specialist, installed a new door opener and a door protective strip. They show up on time, worked diligently, and completed the job in two hours. They were polite, professional, friendly, and easy to work with. I know, money can't buy everything. But a piece of mind is priceless!! Thank you Ramon! You and YES Locksmith rock!!! read more

The upstairs security gate had become unaligned, and was very difficult to close. Plus the inner front door no longer closed smoothly. (A contractor said landlord needed to replace front door.) Yes! Locksmith was out the next day. Ramon efficiently bored the gate lock opening to close securely and quietly. He then went worked on the front door, getting the door to to open and close without a battle (or buying new hardware). He was professional from start to finish, leaving the area cleaned up. Plus, they've got the nicest looking vehicles. read more

My lock got stuck this morning - luckily I was still able to get in and out. I found Ramon on Yelp and contacted him via the online form. He was very quick to respond and answered all follow up questions equally fast. He was at my place in the afternoon and switched out my new lock in ~15 min or less! It was awesome. I really appreciated the quick and painless service. Wish everything could be as easy as this! read more

I can totally see why Yes Locksmith has over 500 reviews and 5 stars! Ramon answered my call on 2 rings, took careful note of our specific needs, (our dog is able to open many types of doors and our lock system broke -stuck locked and needed to be replaced), and then was at my house within an hour to install a new door hardware. He finished the job in 20 minutes! He's a calm and clear communicator, and efficient worker. Price was fair. The electric strike on my front gate was stuck in the open position but I needed to be somewhere soon. I called a couple locksmiths and YES locksmith responded quickly, and had someone out there in less than 30 minutes. Great service, good prices! Ygal is very personable and knowledgeable! Highly, highly recommend!!

The lock on my front door had given out and so I needed some assistance ASAP. The first locksmith I reached out to told me the entire thing needed to be replaced and would cost me anywhere from $700-$1200 FOR THE PART ALONE and would take a few days to find that part and get a quote. I called up Ramon to get a second opinion. He was able to come see me within a couple hours and fix the broken piece without replacing the entire thing saving me potentially over $1000. He's friendly, punctual, and does great work. Highly recommend. read more

tl;dr YES Locksmith is the most knowledgeable, responsive, professional locksmith I've found in SF. They handle complex repairs quickly and for a reasonable price - and they show up on time. Longer story: I needed to get a handle replaced on some exterior French doors. I contacted six of the top locksmiths on Yelp for a quote. YES Locksmith was by far the most knowledgeable, responsive, professional, and reasonably priced of all the San Francisco locksmiths I found. It was quite tricky to determine which part was needed for an exact replacement - only YES Locksmith was able to figure it out after texting some photos. And they were the most creative with finding a cost-conscious solution (a similar-looking handle that wasn't an exact replacement). They ordered the part for me, texted when it was ready, scheduled the repair for the next day, and arrived on time. They only charged me once the job was done (and they accept credit card). I am super satisfied with the end result and the professionalism & smooth communication along the way. Locksmiths aren't something I'd usually write a review for but they far exceeded my expectations so I wanted to spread the word. 10/10 read more
