I visited Precision Honda on Wednesday 12/10/25 for an oil change on my Honda Civic 2016. I have been taking my car to be serviced here for over nine years. Guillermo Hernandez welcomes me with a smile, takes my car information and guides me to the waiting room. Cesar Minjares the automobile technician always informs me of any other repairs and or replacements my car needs. I'm satisfied with their costumer service. Thank you for the great work. Happy Holidays. Maria, Sanchez read more

Precision Honda - I was just called by the dealership talk about suspicious conversation. - Car Dealers Near Me - Downey, California

As a first-time car buyer and a woman, this dealership made the entire process feel so much easier and less overwhelming. I truly felt taken care of from start to finish. I worked with Armando Medina, and he was amazing. I explained my budget and what I was looking for, and he showed me a great range of options without ever making me feel pressured. He really listened and helped me find cars that fit both my needs and my budget. After test driving a few cars, I narrowed it down to two that I loved. I actually went to a Toyota dealership to compare, and Armando was totally understanding and patient about it. In the end, I didn't find anything comparable in terms of price or overall value, so I came back. When I returned, he took the time to walk me through everything again. He even let me see the cars side by side and gave really helpful, honest insights that made my decision so much easier. On the financing side, he worked with me to get to a number I felt comfortable with, which I really appreciated. I was there for a few hours, but I never felt rushed or pressured at any point. I ended up getting a Honda HR-V and I'm so happy with it. Overall, such a positive experience. The dealership itself is new, spacious, and just has a really good vibe. They also offer water and have a coffee machine, which was a nice touch. I definitely recommend this dealership, especially if you're a first-time buyer. read more

LOUSY customer service! Before arriving, my brother already had spoken to a sales associate by the name of Juan Camberos and had already worked out some numbers on a vehicle my brother was interested in. When we arrived, we were immediately greeted by the sales Director, Yara. We told her we had an appointment with Juan and she paged him. I guess he was at a different lot getting the vehicle we wanted. The minute Juan showed up with the car, everything went downhill. I mean, this guy needs some modesty and a bit more training on how to treat a potential buyer. He seemed confused when he saw us, looked at us with a disgusting look on his face, was arrogant, and showed no effort in helping us. He judged my brother as if he couldn't afford the car he wanted or as if he was a NOBODY. Oh, and the "new" car he showed us had clear marks that the car was repainted (attaching pictures for proof). When we pointed out the obvious paint details on the car, Juan denied it and belittled us by saying we didn't know what were talking about. Little does he know that my husband who was present that day has over 20yrs of auto-body experience. Finally we agreed on a different vehicle since the one he first showed us had flaws and we wanted to go over the final numbers. We asked him a question and he said he needed to go ask his manager, leaving us all outside in the heat. Juan never offered us water or to come inside the building knowing it was about 89 degrees outside. We left the place and decided to go to Carson Honda where they deeply care for their customers and want to do the right thing for them. read more

A Masterclass in How Not to Treat Customers - Precision Honda, Downey CA If you enjoy being ignored, handed off, and having your time completely wasted, Precision Honda in Downey is the place for you. On my first visit, the salesperson I had an appointment with dumped me onto someone else, who made me wait 45 minutes and never even showed up. I finally walked out. I decided to give them another chance (big mistake). I scheduled another appointment, drove an hour, and when I arrived, they casually told me the car was sold two hours earlier -- and of course, no one thought to call or text me. It's honestly amazing how a dealership this big can be so unprofessional, disorganized, and careless. Precision Honda clearly doesn't value customers' time or business. Do yourself a favor -- skip the frustration and go anywhere else. read more

Very bad, probably the worst Honda experience ever. I didn't even get a price for my vehicle, the guy who came up to me was rude from the start, didn't even let me speak said if I was trying to sell my car or get a price. The process only takes 10 mins or less, it was not busy at all so I didn't know what his rush was for. I also didn't understand the difference, what would have I done without the price...? I'm not going to frame it on my wall and wait a whole year to sell, obviously I'm trying to sell the car that's why I went to your dealership, if the price is right which I told him and he started arguing I told him to not waste his time since he wants to be lazy and not work, bad customer service and experience with that guy. I didn't even get to catch the guys name, got a message from them about my experience, but I'm not sure if that'll go anywhere so I came here so y'all can know. Makes sense why people are protesting outside their facility about civil rights being violated. I'm Not saying the whole company is bad or the workers there but that guy either doesn't want to work or mad he's not making enough sales. Hopefully y'all have better experiences. read more

always love honda, thank you, great cars reliable etc especially the ones made in Japan

I've debated leaving a review but, goodness, the bad customer service continues. I purchased an EV and was to return for my charger, middle console, and detail. The charger wasn't on the due bill so we had to get a corrected one which meant going back across the street. The middle console wasn't in stock so they had to order it and when it arrived, it was the wrong one. The car detailer wasn't in when they told us to go to service. But, once he was in, the scratches remained and it was such a horrible job. I had to return to this dealer once per week and get loaners for 4 weeks to address the detailing. So, I finally get to drive my car and the air freshener scent is stuck in my car. Black ice- horrible! We had to use alcohol on the plastic to get the scent out. How about just not use a fragrance? I asked the salesman questions, he brushed me off and gave me wrong information. Quoted me wrong information for parts in the service so we just stopped asking and dealt with parts directly. One salesperson was legit- Paul. But, one salesperson isn't enough to make you recommend a dealership, unfortunatel. They also had to rework my contract because they didn't know about the security system allowed on the car. So much back and forth and misinformation. Now, I'm waiting for my plates. I asked them about the status and finance told me I should receive them by Sept 30th. I've bought several cars and usually get my plates within a couple of weeks. Not this dealership, though! The DMV told me the dealership started the process on July 16th and nothing has happened since then. They said it's probably sitting in their registration center waiting to be processed. Sigh! I need my plates to enroll in EV programs but, nope, this dealership still has me waiting. I mean, can this dealership do anything right?? How am I supposed to recommend this dealership when every interaction seems to go badly? This isn't even the complete list of mess that we've gone through with this dealership. It's very disorganized. Also, they are in the Costco auto program. Don't even go for the discount. It's not worth the headache to save the money. I thought "great- a discount". Nope- just go somewhere else. read more

(Now known as Precision Honda) I wanted to shout out Paul, Alex and Mel for making my first Honda purchase a great experience. Paul and Alex helped me nail down a great price online without having to waste time coming in to do it in person (pretty sure this saved me like 3 hrs). Mel finished it off by having me out the door in less than 1.5 hrs which was awesome. Overall great experience and I will definitely be back to utilize their service department because the new building is so nice and has tons of waiting accommodations. Thanks again, guys! read more

Costco's Auto Program got me in the door and Honda World and got me out the door with a new vehicle. Pricing was transparent and minimal(!) hassle on removing extra cost add-ons ( battery and windshield protection, security, and extended warranty). I wasn't interested at my end but you might be if you have different needs. Kudos to Joseph Martinez (Sales) for his patience and time while I was deciding between a Civic vs a CR-V. Financing with Honda Financial Services was a different story as I had a New College Grad offer to take advantage of. Note: having a college diploma in your hand is an easy $500 in your pocket. Graduating within 6 months, on the other hand, took some work and time that involved obtaining an enrollment verification document from the college in order to meet Honda Financial Services' offer requirements. After TWO onsite contract signing sessions (original contract and the second revised contract to work in the New College Grad offer), I got a call to re-sign a THIRD revised contract again (WTH?). Luckily, the third revised contact signing was the charm, both in terms of being able to sign electronically vs. signing in person at the dealership. I did not receive any calls to sign anything else. Daniel Medina (Finance) was pleasant to work with and although we may have had our moments during the multiple contract signing process, he didn't object when I took the time to review the numbers on the different finance contract versions that I had to sign. TL;DR: Overall, a good vehicle purchasing process through Honda World with prearranged pricing through Costco's Auto Program. Contract hassles apply to Roxy A. (yes, you're not the only one) and myself and likely not apply to you. read more

Total waste of time! My son was pre-approved for a used car there so we made an appointment. I got 3 robo calls to confirm the appointment the morning of so we made sure the car was there before we drove an hour and a half to see and hopefully purchase if all was well. We get there and was passed off to two different salespersons who had no clue why we were there. Just to find out the car was taken to the shop and no estimate on when it would return. Awful experience. Nothing was done to try to save the sale. I had to ask is there any other cars that was comparable and they said they did but after taking a van to another lot it was clear that they were wasting my time. Bad customer service. Wouldn't give them a dime of my business after today's experience. Ruined my son's first car experience. Thanks! read more

i got in contact with this location text for 2 months on my credit report for approval I submitted a capital one credit application I was told to submit their credit application I made appointments having to reschedule I finally went today knowing facts that have been given to me throughout the past two months I was told to SUBMIT ANOTHER APPLICATION after I told the guy helping me (Juan)its been submitted prior,He responded with yes, but we need your proof of income, which was already submitted prior throughout this experience MY CREDIT DROPPED 40 points. I was offered for a 2025 Honda Accord hybrid 20% APR 2500 down and my paid off 2017 Honda Accord trade-in . For a total of 72 month payment of $880. I was also told that the car sale amount was $33,000 I explainEd Juan the math 880x72 months equals $63,360 he then responded with I am not responsible with the finance as I was showing him, his numbers were wrong. The math was wrong. Juan then responded with what is stopping me from purchasing a vehicle I repeated myself and showed him the math one more time he still did not understand. Be careful making a purchase make sure you do your math and Make sure your payment is the amount of grand total of vehicle. Do not sign until you do. Best of luck to your purchase I hope my experience and review will help you .. once again 20% apr of 33,000.00 is $6,600.00 which leaves a payment of $550 A month and taxes let's say 5 gs totals $44,600.00 he was $18,760 off read more

I had a lot of trouble with Norm Reeves to repair a recall for my 2018 CRV. After calling several times at which they said they didn't have the part. Last time the girl said they'd call me when they get it in. THEY NEVER DID... After about a year I got another letter from Honda Corp about the real that it was really important. To contact NR. Haha I thought NO WAY... I called Honda World and got in to service within the hour. Here's the reply I got from Honda after I told them Good morning Ms. Foreman, Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with us. We're truly sorry to hear about the frustration and inconvenience you faced with Norm Reeves Honda regarding your CR-V recall. I purchased my car here last year and was told I would have free oil changes for my first year or up to 12K miles; they even wrote it in my warranty book. However, when I took my car to get the second oil change I was told I didn't have a second service and would have to pay. Apparently Honda doesn't keep their word so I would be cautious when negotiating for a new vehicle and try to get some kind of written contract/confirmation regarding the EXACT benefits they are claiming they will provide. I called customer service and they advised me to talk to the finance department. When I went back to pick up my car, I went to talk to the finance person who sold me the car (Everett) to explain the situation. He was initially very nice and told me it would be no problem and they would honor what was communicated to me and written on the warranty book. A sales person walked us over to the service department to inform the service advisor and he stated he needed some slip from the finance team so he could process it. I was told to wait in the waiting area while they sorted things out. After about 10 minutes of waiting a different sales person came to me and told me that I needed to go speak to Everett because I had to get the slip myself. He walked me over to his office and that's when Everett began to go back on what he told me. He proceeded to tell me all these reasons for why they can't honor what was written in the booklet and even called for back up. I was so fed up with the excuses and the lack of accountability that I simply told him I would pay but I was never going back to Honda for my services unless it was some extremely dire situation where I had no other choice. When I went to pay for my vehicle the service advisor saw how frustrated I was (to the point where I was shaking and on the verge of tears) and he told me he was going to figure something out and told me not to worry about it. I explained I didn't want him to get in trouble so it was fine but he insisted. He was the ONLY person who displayed good customer service skills. This was one of the WORST customer service experiences I have ever had. It wasn't even about the money for me, it was literally just a matter of principal because I was communicated one thing when they were trying to get me to purchase my car and then after the sale was done they proceeded to go back on their word; not once but twice! I was previously with Nissan in Downey and I NEVER had an issue with their customer service. They offered me the exact same terms for the oil changes when I bought my Sentra and they kept their word. I had complications with some of the services I received there, but they were always very attentive and provided great customer service every time which is why I kept going back to them for all my services. Unfortunately, that won't be the case here. I had been warned about Honda's shitty customer service and sad to say the warnings were true. This was the first and last time I purchase a car from Honda. If you purchase a car from here just be warned that the customer service you experience when they are trying to sell you a car is different from what you will receive after they've already made the sale. Downgrading my review from 2 stars to 1; and the ONLY reason I'm even giving them one star is because of the service advisor I had (Carlos Villarreal). HE was very nice and professional and tried to do what he could to help me at drop off and at pick-up when he saw how frustrated I was. read more

If I could give -5 stars, I would. I'm only giving them one star because I have no choice. I had the worst experience ever. I booked an appointment for a Saturday for an oil change and to address some concerns I had with my car. I ended up leaving my car with them all day that Saturday. At first, I was told that my car warranty had expired months before I even purchased the car, which made no sense. When I returned to pick up my car, I was told they couldn't find anything wrong--despite having my car the entire day. I was then advised that the tech could take a better look until Monday, so I decided to leave my car there. On Monday, when I was called to pick up my car, they told me again that nothing was wrong and that they wouldn't submit any report to get it fixed. I explained all the concerns I had and showed them pictures and videos of the issues I'm experiencing, but they still said they wouldn't submit a ticket unless they found the issue or something "bad" happened. When I went to pick up my car that Monday, I noticed the oil change wasn't even done. I was extremely upset because that was the entire reason I booked the appointment for Saturday in the first place. They also said they no longer offer Lyft rides due to "system changes"--blah blah--no more than 6 miles, etc. I ended up leaving my car until Tuesday just to get the oil change, making it four days without a car, and they didn't even compensate me with a Lyft ride home for their mistake. I also could NEVER get in touch with the first person who helped me because the new system is terrible. The phone number he gave me for updates didn't work, and when I called the main office, they would transfer me to my advisor, but the call dropped every single time. So annoying. The last person who helped me did the best he could, and I was finally able to communicate with someone. But the first person not only gave me wrong information about my warranty, he also left me hanging, telling me they would check for me--yet I never got an answer. Honestly, I was looking forward to upgrading to a new car this December because of the issues I've been having and how uncomfortable I feel with my current car. I've been a loyal Honda customer since 2017 and have purchased three cars because I like to upgrade every 2-3 years. But after all this, I am 100000% done with Honda dealership. I would NOT recommend Honda to my friends, family, or anyone. Honda, you have lost me as a loyal customer. Once I'm done paying off the car I have now, which thankfully is very soon --no more deals, no more business forever. read more

I bought a used vehicle at Honda World Downey in Jan 2025. It has been over 4 months since the purchase, I have not got the license plate. I called the dealership and spoke with Daniel in finance department, he said the dealership had sent the required documents to DMV office. However, when I called DMV office, it had not received paperwork from the dealership. I called the dealership again, and they told me that the previous owner had not transferred the title. It sounds like a scam when the dealership sold the vehicle without a title. This is quite unacceptable for such a well-known dealership. When I told Daniel that it was illegal to sell a vehicle without a title, he explained that the dealership had made a full payment to the bank, but the bank had not released the title, and he had no idea when the bank would release the title. I completely got upset with this dealership. They ruin their business image with such unprofessional and unethical practice when they dare to sell a vehicle to their customer without a title. It is hard to get a whole of anyone in the Finance department and the manager. Stay away from this dealership, they are doing business like a scam. read more

I was in the market for the pretty rare Civic Type R. I connected with Walter over the phone (then thru texts) and from our first conversation until the eventual handshake and handover of keys, he was respectful, fair, timely, patient, and overall just a solid guy. From the first moment you genuinely feel like he is on your side to get you the best deal possible. No bs. How is it possible he never gave a vibe of pushiness?? Amazing. He provided outstanding service when I arrived from out of town, and never once did I feel like he was putting up a front (he was the same throughout). He also knows a thing or two about Type Rs and had some fun conversations and tips/tricks. My experience was so good I'd reconsider buying from them in the future if their prices are competitive. Additionally, Zach, my finance guy, was solid too and answered all my questions about extended warranties without rushing me or making me feel uncomfortable. Thank you LA Honda World for my best car buying experience ever! I hope your reputation continues to build up. read more
