This place is a one stop convenience service place just like a home office. They provide UPS, Fed Ex, DHL and Postal Service etc. on top of that Mail Boxes to rent, Notary Services, Live Scan, Western Union, Money Orders, Copies, Fax, All Utility Bills and DMV Renewals etc. I am renting a Mail Box at this place for the last 10 plus years, these people go above and beyond to provide all these services and they are very quick, no long lines like the post office etc. read more

turns out my fingerprinting didn't process! and they wanted to charge me for another scan even though they were the ones that entered the information wrong. the only thing i can give them credit for is giving me $50 back, but only after a long while of trying to explain that correcting the mistake was the store's responsibility and not mine. if you need a fingerprinting scan, i would go somewhere else. read more

The guy that runs this place is unprofessional. He will get fussy and angry with you on the phone. At the end of the conversation he will say he is too busy for you and become unwilling to answer your questions. I didn't feel like a customer, I felt like a solicitor to him. Please do not use this place for anything! You will receive bad customer service. read more

This guy is horrible; charged my wife for fingerprints, which the FBI rejected because the dude was too distracted to even get the correct fingers scanned per the Live Scan format instructions. He then demanded more money to try a second time, but by then he was really pissed-off, so he did an even crappier job the second time. By the way, it is against the Live Scan certification policies to charge for the second attempt at acquiring fingerprints. We tried to work it out, but now the guy is getting really nasty. He is crook and a scam artist. Avoid this individual at all costs. read more

Customer service at its worst! I came here for a passport photo. When I was asked why I was there for, I said, "passport photo." The guy at the counter said, "We don't do passport photos." I was so confused coz it says right on the wall, PASSPORT PHOTOS. Then I said, "Then I said, well, it's actually for a Visa Application, but a passport photo size is required." So, the guy went on ahead and helped me. He took my picture without even letting me know that he was snapping my pic. Waited for it, then he showed me my pic and told me $12 plus tax. He handed me my picture and since he didn't tell me he was gonna snap my pic, I was looking up on my pic. Also, the picture wasn't cut right. I told him, "Oh man, I am not looking at the camera here. I don't think this is a good pic." Then, he said, "No, that's ok." I was like, "Umm, I'm sure it's not." Then he kept insisting (in a rude way), "They just need a picture of you. That's fine. Don't worry about it." Then I said, "I can't. I want to retake the pic." Then he said, "It's not a big deal. That picture is fine." I said, "I'm not trying to get a free pic here. I am willing to pay for it." But, obviously, he refused to re-do my pic because he kept insisting that the picture was fine. I gave up and just paid...then walked away. It was a losing battle. I guess he's an expert with everything Passport Photo related (sarcasm). Plus, he was being rude and didn't want to re-do my pic. So, yeah, please, save your money and do your Passport Photo at A-1 Broadway Photo. That's where I went after my not-so-nice experience here. Im surprised by all the negative reviews. I have used this place on a number of occasions and been well satisfied. The employees were polite and I had to fax a lot of stuff to another city and they were very helpful. No long lines like Walmart. Not sure why my experience was generally positive and the other reviewers so bad. Also used them as a notary. read more

I go to this place regularly and have over the years, especially when I have the most sensitive of legal or confidential and documents to handle. This place is great. One thing I appreciate about their notary service is that years down the line, this business and the same people are always there. It's not like the average print shop with a rotation of employees and different faces. You see the same caring people when you go. I think that's what I like most about it. The business has a family feel to it or the people in there have been a team for the longest and they just respect each other and work well together to help customers. I respect that. I like to support a business like that. I've never once had any issues with shippings they've done, copies, or anything at all. These people give me every courtesy they could possibly extend whenever I go. Most importantly, they care about their work product. read more

I dropped a package off at the postal annex in lemon grove as a usps parcel and it took six days to get to carlsbad. I checked the tracking and they did not get the parcel to the post office until three days after I dropped it off. I guess they don't know it was scanned upon arrival. I asked why and was told that they wait until there is enough mail to make the trip worth it. Never again. read more

I have been using this location to send out all of my loan documents for about 5 years now. I have NEVER had a package that I sent out from their location not get to its destination. Alex and Victor help me with my receipts and supplies. I always get the best service. They scan my loan documents straight to my email. Which makes it easier for me to do my job. I just moved to San Diego for a job and I went there today for a Livescan Fingerprint service after I received an e-mail from my agency telling me to get it done by today or tomorrow. I wanted to get it out of the way, so I went on the on the DOJ website and looked up for the cheapest service. BIG MISTAKE. The service--or lack thereof--is not worth the $14.99 advertised price. Before I go on, I must admit I was at fault for overlooking the detail of bringing the Livescan request form (yes, a rookie mistake), but I was hoping the people working there could at least direct me to the nearest Library or business that provided Internet and printing services. No one knew where I could find those services. I didn't want to drive back to National City without getting the services I needed. With under an hour left before closing time, I figured I had enough time to print out the form at a library and go back to get my fingerprints processed. So I looked up the closest library on my phone, and found one a mile down the street. I went to that branch, signed up for a card, and used their Internet and printer. I went back to the Postal Annex and arrived there at about 5:35--about 25 minutes before closing time. When I came up from the line, the man was very dismissive of me and told me to come back tomorrow because it would take him AT LEAST 30 MINUTES to do the service. I tried to tell him that I went through a bunch of trouble just to have this done. But he wouldn't even entertain me! He just left me standing there and told the female attendant that he was going to pick up something from the store. I was IRATE! So I went back on the DOJ site on my phone to see if I could find another place that was open. I wanted to get this service done so I wouldn't feel as if all of my efforts were in vain. I ended up finding a better place in Chula Vista that was open until 7pm. It took me less than 10 minutes to have my information, fingerprints, and payment method processed. He informed me that this man didn't know what he was doing if he claimed that it would take 30 minutes. I suggest if you live in the South Bay or 15-20 minutes away from the older part of Chula Vista, go to AAA Livescan on 126 Broadway. He knows exactly what he is doing and will NOT waste your time. read more

Charging one dollar per page for copy??????? Their pricing is outrageous. Don't they get checked?

I would not normally take to this app to write such a review but I feel compelled to warn the public about this establishment. Do not come here for a Postal box, package handling or anything other then maybe buy a pack of gum from this place. I was new to the area and at first glance this was a place I wanted to give my business to. A business that looked like it was at least friendly. The key to my mailbox never worked for the first two months of my service and despite my consistent remarks about it to the staff, the issue was never resolved until I finally made a bigger issue of it. I am a disabled veteran and making trips to the mailbox is not a daily routine for me and is certainly difficult to do. I have had packages missing that I have delivery confirmation of delivery to the Annex. To be honest I have had financial issues and some unexpected hardships which have drained me financially and just yesterday I was in the Postal Annex to pick up an important package, my service dogs renewal credentials and I was told that my mailbox renewal fee was overdue and that I could not get my package until I pay my fee. I wish I had my mailbox fee right not not only so I could get my package but so that I could also transfer my mailbox to a place that is at least trying to give some customer service, but I cannot pay it right now and I thought with all the issues I have had they would at least allow me to pick up such an important package.
