I do like the food here and the portion sizes are great but the service unfortunately is very slow. We had to remind our water several times about our check. Otherwise, good, low key place.

Stopped in today and tried their chicken parm on a garlic knot. I opted for the sliders and they were nice enough to 2 with marinara and 2 with vodka sauce. I tried the vodka sauce one first and wow! I'm not sure I can eat chicken parm sandwich on regular bread again. I'm not even a garlic knot fan but the flavors and the soft garlic know were perfect. The marinara kne was also very good but the vodka sauce outshined it for sure. Next time I'm going to ask if they can do it Brooklyn style and add some pepperoni. I also tried a white slice and I gotta say it's up there in best white slices I've had. The employees were kind and attentive. Seems like a nice day night restaurant also. Will be back.

Came here with some friends after seeing a reel on Instagram. Objective was to try their garlic knot sandwich (spoiler- get it), although we also really enjoyed the rest of the food. This seems to be a family friendly spots- lots of people with kids inside. We chose to sit outside, which was nice and didn't see a knock on service- they were still pretty attentive. Garlic know sandwich: giant garlic knot cut in half with chicken parm and vodka sauce. Get this. It's ridiculously good. Rigatoni with Ricotta: I chose to substitute the sauce with vodka sauce and am so happy I did- their vodka sauce is addicting. Pasta was perfectly cooked. Stuffed shells: my friend got this and also subbed for vodka sauce. Sooo cheesy and delicious. Cannoli: pretty big and delicious. We shared it among the 3 of us. Perfect sweet touch to end the meal! I'll absolutely be back.

Stopped by Positano in Wayne, NJ and had one of the best meals I've had in a while. I ordered the garlic knot chicken parm and it was seriously amazing. The chicken was cooked perfectly, and using garlic knots instead of a regular roll was such a great twist -- flavorful, fresh, and just the right amount of indulgent. What really stood out, though, was the owner. He was incredibly friendly and made us feel like regulars, even though it was our first time there. You can tell he really cares about both the food and the people walking through the door. The place had a laid-back, welcoming vibe and you could see that everyone working there took pride in what they do. If you're in the area and haven't been yet, definitely check it out. It's one of those spots you'll be glad you found.

We're no strangers, to Positano. Although we've visited many eateries over the years, we still love this little place. Food: Very nice selection, staying clearly within the "make fewer things but do it right" dictum. We found almost all items to be a but pricier than other, similar eateries, especially the appetizers. The clams oreganata was delicious, made with the whole clam, not canned, minced. The eggplant rollatini was excellent, sitting in a fresh tasting sauce and without the thick blanket of cheese found in other places. Service: Attentive, but given the few people dining at the time, we found service a bit slow. Positano is comfortable, without the carnuvL ambiance so often seen in Iralian places.

I've been coming here with my family forever and it's always been so good. It's a cute little Italian restaurant in a strip mall with really amazing food. I always get the penne arribiata. What's nice about the pasta is that they have full orders and half size orders for when you aren't feeling as hungry. They also have the best salad dressing ever, it's so so good. Service is always fast and everyone that works there is super nice. Highly recommend!

Amazing food. Chicken parm in Vodka sauce is exceptional. Hidden gem in a nondescript strip mall. Huge menu and quality food and service.

Mussels with a Vino bianco, herbs and filone toast for the appetizer and the Ricotta Cavatelli (alla mema) with broken meatballs and sausage sugo. Good grief the vino bianco/herb cream sauce on the mussels was incredible! Really! I could not get enough of it. I don't believe we've ever seen mussels on their menu, but man! These were phenomenal! The only complaint would be that there were not enough of the mussels. The ricotta cavatelli was also amazing... as are all of Viaggio's pasta dishes and sauces. Gelato stawberry/maple gelato was maybe the best gelato I've ever had. Not sure if they have this on their 'normal' menu, but if they do, I'm going to need some more. Sadly, once we 'dove' into the food... we forgot to take pictures. :-( Maybe next time! Just go. You won't be disappointed.

Stefano's is an Italian restaurant located in Wayne, New Jersey. I've passed by this restaurant…read moremany times but this is the first time I stopped. After a quick search on the internet, I noticed the restaurant got mixed reviews. Most customers complaining about the owner, service and prices. I also noticed that Stefano's serves pizza, cannoli, gelato and a variety of Italian entrees. Always willing to try a cannoli and gelato, I stopped for a quick treat. Wow, they had so many varieties of cannoli and gelato to choose from. The cannoli I selected was delicious with a crispy tasty shell and sweat ricotta filling. They claim that the cannoli are made fresh everyday, I would not argue with that. They are reasonably priced at $4.50. The gelato flavors were tempting and on my next stop I'll have to try their gelato. I took the cannoli out to my truck, turned on some music, chilled out and enjoyed my treat. Sometimes I enjoy my truck more than sitting in a restaurant. I never met the owner nor experienced the service. In my opinion the restaurant could use some interior refreshing.

They do not pride themselves on hospitality, it's more like hostility and indifference. Originally made the point that life is too short to suffer at a place like this, given the wide variety of Italian restaurants in the area with better food, prices, service and most importantly, owners that genuinely treat customers fairly, even (and especially) when the establishment is clearly in the wrong. Read through all the reviews and see the common theme throughout many people's experiences with the same shock at the unregulated anger the owner directs toward a customer that expresses when the slightest problem with food quality, slow service, or overcharging. There was absolutely nothing personal about the original review, and nothing fake - good money was wasted on mediocre food and terrible service on too many occasions with an angry owner, and the review was just an honest assessment of a string of horrible experiences. That's how reviews work - they relate the good as well as the bad elements of an establishment and share these honest reactions with the community. What's truly disheartening is to see the owners attempting to pontificate after the fact that the review is somehow fabricated because they can't accept the reality that they're being called out (as they should be) for mistreating customers disrespectfully in a regular basis. I would never try to speak up in the moment at this place, as we've witnessed the owner literally berating customers and ruining an evening out for even mildly complaining on more occasions than I'd like to remember. At this place, their motto is "the customer is always wrong." It truly took a lot to have to write the original review and now to follow up to the owner's response, because they're anything but receptive to customer feedback. It's truly incredulous that the owner responded in this manner just because they want to promote their business. Smart diners will see through this. So take their advice if you dare, go ahead, make your own decision as they try to suggest, and work up the courage to try it out and ignore this and every other negative review ... but brace yourself, and as it's said, "buyer beware!" Just don't say you haven't been warned.
