Went for the first time and it was a great dining experience. We knew Pazza was there but a neighbor suggested the restaurant. The service was great and Stephanie was our waitress and she was awesome. The menu had something for anyone along with the drink menu was outstanding. My family went to Pazza for the first time. The place has a pick up area, bar, and two dining spaces. It was busy and a little dark, yet suitable for families. We didn't have reservation and ended up eating outside. We also weren't prepare for the weather, it was a little chilly. Our food came quickly. It was delicious and flavorful. It was also plentiful and very good value for the price. The pizza was outstanding!! I love a quality pizza bread/crust. The staff was attentive and worked efficiently. I think they knew we were cold and wanted to get out. We finished dining in less than an hour. I want to return (with reservations this time), dine inside, and try other dishes. Lastly, I want to commend the manager/owner in the kitchen from the pick up area. I witnessed him stopping a patron from driving. He informed the patron to stay a little longer because he had been drinking. The patron did not show any sign of intoxication and I believed he obliged. It's not often you see an establishment care for the safety of their customers and others. I was leaving with my family of four (2 young girls). I hope the patron made it home safely. read more

Urban feel, well appointed cavernous restaurant with a full bar & good food. Two store fronts merged with the main restaurant on one side and a bar and tables with a loungy feel on the other. I have eaten in the restaurant once before and thought it was good, but I will not order takeout again Here is their description of the hog pizza:Fresh Mozzarella, tomato sauce, roasted onions, bread crumbs, homemade sausage, parsley. Why am I discovering this place just now when I'm moving out of Jersey 4/5 hotty totty shrimp, like the name and loved the shrimps. Cooked to perfection Squid ink linguine 3.5/5 it was good different, again the shrimps were the show stealers! Salmon 2/5 what was that! Celebrated my dad's birthday the other night and had a great time. The restaurant, was decorated beautifully for the holidays and was very busy on a Saturday night. For dinner, I ordered the Not Your Mama's Lasagna which was mafaldine pasta, fresh ricotta, and bolognese sauce. My dish was delicious and super filling. I had leftovers for the next day. I also split some fried calamari with my mom which was nice and crispy. They recently obtained a liquor license but I wish they still had BYOB. I had an espresso martini after dinner which was also very good. The prices are pretty reasonable considering the area. The wait staff was very nice and service was prompt. Overall I would reccommend PAZZA and look forward to returning soon. read more

This lovely little gem is located in a shopping center. The service is lovely, while our waiter was new, he had plenty of support. The restaurant is quite large, but fills up quickly. So I recommend going off hours or calling ahead. It is a byob. The food overall was delicious. My one complaint was the short rib ragu was just something. The sauce felt like it was more corn starch than sauce. Just wasn't my jam. read more

I love pazza, they're pretty flexible for a gluten intolerant person such as myself. I've had their cacio e Pepe pasta dish and their cauliflower crust pizza. NOT BYOB Anymore :-( A couple of dings on our most recent dining experience. Cavatelli with beans and sausage. Previously there were large pieces of sausage. Today there were small "nuggets" of sausage. A scant amount was used in the dish. More of a bean dish. "Not your Mama's lasagna" is right. They shouldn't use the word lasagna at all. It is a pasta dish with what eats like a vodka sauce with small bits of meat which they describe as a bolognese sauce...NOT. Ordered espresso which was only 3 sips. Half of what is usually served. Service was off tonight which is unusual. Waiting for drinks. One was served after our meal was over. Had to go the the main desk to ask for forks to eat dessert. They are pleasant, just not prompt. Short rib dinner and the Queen pizza was as good as usual, A disappointing night. I am a bit worried about future quality of meals. They have a new fancy bar area. Very pretty. Hope they don't skimp on the dinner quantity and quality. We will see. read more

My phone changed corking to caulking, I am sure that has never happened to you. On Tuesday, we made a reservation for Friday. Hostess never said anything about a corking fee. We were there two weeks ago and it never was mentioned. There was nothing on your website or posted on your door as we entered. Server said it had just started the night before. The correct thing would be to be gracious and say next time, you will be charged corking fee. And yikes, $15 corking fee plus tax and then you want us to pay tip on top of the $15. Since you opened (almost 7 years ago), you encouraged BYOB with no charge. Your pettiness in your response taking a jab at a typo makes me understand why 513 next door no longer worked with you. And now you have their liquor license! Go you! I did not berate any servers. I spoke to the hostess, she was to take it off. After we figured out the total bill with over 20% tip, the corking fee was back on with a credit card fee, tax and expecting a tip on top. We would not take it out on the server's tip and always give at least 20% (usually cash). You did that by adding it back on trying to punish us. What you did was hurt a hard working college kid. Just as you have a right to charge a corking fee, we have a right to not come back to Pazza. You obviously do not care but you lost two couples (and there will be more) that frequent Pazza at least once a month. read more

I made reservations here for a Friday night while passing through the area. The staff were able to seat us early, which was great since we were driving several hours that night. Something to note: when we visited, they were BYOB. Several tables had their own beer and wine as they did not have their liquor license yet We were greeted warmly by the server, who told us about the daily specials. Their menu is extensive and whether you're a fan of pizza, pasta or classic Italian entrees, you're bound to find several things to choose from. We started with an order of the Wood Fired Wings, which had a Chipotle adobo marinade. They were sticky, sweet and delicious. Definitely a great starter! For our entrees, we split the Chicken Milanese and an order of Penne a la Vodka. The chicken was perfectly cooked and not oily at all. The vodka sauce was so creamy - definitely one of my favorite pasta dishes. I wish I had room for dessert because their list of homemade desserts sounded incredible. Went to Pazza for lunch on a Wednesday. It is located in a strip of restaurants/shops with a shared parking lot. We made a reservation ahead of time but there appeared to be plenty of tables if you walked in. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable of the menu items. This is some of the worst food we've ever had. First, the owners attitude is nasty arrogant and obnoxious. It's an attitude that they are doing the customer a favor by allowing patrons to pay them for... let's be honest - simply awful food and service. Examples: The lemon sole smelled very fishy. Not your mammas lasagna was NOT lasagna - just overcooked ribbon noodles with dry overcooked old meat sauce, as was the Rigatoni bolognese. Grilled chicken was obviously reheated we suspect left over from the day or more before. It wasn't busy so even that unacceptable excuse can't be considered. Franklin Lakes deserves much better restaurants, this one is a -15 on the 10 point scale. Do not waste your money at this establishment. read more

We have been going to Pazza for a couple of years now and always enjoyed their pizza, dishes and the fact that it's BYOB. I walked in with my bottle of wine recently and was told that they are not BYOB anymore and handed me a drink menu. First thing I saw was $15 for a glass of wine which I would spend in a nicer restaurant but we were just looking for a quick casual dinner with my bottle of wine. I decided to leave and find a restaurant where I could drink my bottle of wine as there are many nice places in the area that offer that.
