I always promised myself to review this place, and after some time --- here's the review! I saw Spinachio's on my FYP for a while, especially during Lent, and I knew I needed to try them - especially on those Lenten Fridays. I called-in my order for 1 Spinachio's Pizza - what their known for, which "features fresh spinach marinated in garlic and extra virgin olive oil, combined with our secret Spinachio mix, pecorino romano cheese, and mozzarella for a rich, flavorful bite. " The woman told me to pick it up in 20-min., and I arrived at the 20-minute-mark, I saw my pizza being taken out of the oven! What a sight! The inside of the restaurant is charming and unassuming, yet welcoming. The two ladies (owners?) were very kind in showing me the pie, and then with payment afterwards. Taste? Amazing. If you're a fan of hot spinach dips for appetizers, then this is not too far off --- in pizza-form, dare I saw, the superior form! I can see why they are recommended and highly rated. I've been dying to try this spinach pizza that's been on my mind the first time I ever laid eyes on it on instagram. It totally lives up to the hype! When that crunchy bite of spinach and cheese first hit my mouth, I think I saw heaven. This pizza is crispy, light, slightly garlicky and perfectly melted. If you're not into spinach, the rigatoni vodka pizza was another major winner in my book. It was carb loaded in the best way! The mosaic pizza is perfect for a group with all different taste buds. You can actually choose from seven of their specialty pizzas to create this beautiful masterpiece. Don't even think about sleeping on the meatballs! They were so tender and comforting! Of course, we ended with their fluffy golden Zeppoles! Major shout out to the lovely ladies that own and operate Spinachio. Proving that women can run great pizzerias too! The whole staff was just so friendly and welcoming. The pizzeria has a handful of booths with neat murals adorning the restaurant. Making it a fun casual spot to hangout and eat. I was visiting from west coast to see family. Grew up in NJ and was craving the pizza flavors I grew up eating. We got take out. One plain pie and one with 1/2 mushroom 1/2 onions and bell peppers. Both pizzas were delicious but the stand out was the Chicken Francese with lemon sauce and pasta. Outstanding! Very tender chicken cutlet and the sauce was a winner. Prices reasonable too! 3% Credit Card fee The Spinachio pizza is the best slice to get here! Or at least it was my favorite out of the 3 I tried. I also had the square vodka and a plain. It was about $10 for the spinachio and vodka slices and the plain was over $3. All slices have a very thin crust so the pizza is not too doughy. I didn't love the sauce on plain slice, a bit on the sweeter side for me, but still a solid slice. I was happy that all the slices were very hot when I went to eat them! I tend to find pizza places never get the slices warm enough. There are several tables inside and outside for dining in. Even though the tables outside were in the sun I'm not sure if it's cooler sitting outside or inside on a warm day. Overall I'm glad I took the time to travel to try this place! read more

We finally gave this a try for some takeout last night and we were definitely impressed with the quality of the food. Definitely not generic pizzeria food.. We started with the Mediterranean salad, which was very very good with a nice mix of green olives, cucumbers, and tomatoes with some feta cheese. It was crisp and refreshing. We then had the muscles marinara which were some of the best muscles that we've had recently we have to tend to get them everywhere we go and a lot of the times were disappointed, but these were absolutely delicious. The sauce was amazing. We got the thin pizza. It was a little bit doughy for my liking. I thought it was gonna be a little bit Thinner and a little more cooked but it was pretty good. I think next time we would just ask for it cooked a little bit more. We are definitely gonna be going here again. They were also very nice when we called and when we went to pick up the food. read more

We've come here a few times for different pies and every pizza has been amazing but the Burrata pizza we got last night has been by far the best we've had. I haven't tried anything other than pizza so I cannot speak on other items but I'm sure it's all delicious. All the workers have also been very nice every time we've gone. Food: The pizza is great! But personally, I have to say the spicy rigatoni is the best. I stumbled upon this dish one night and now I cant stop coming back for it! They are kind enough to sell me the vodka sauce in the container which allows me to serve my addiction while still being affordable. You can tell they use fresh ingredients in all their food. I've had pizza, pasta, rice balls, salads.. all have been wonderful. This is definitely a popular spot in town and its typically quite busy. Atmosphere: The place is clean and updated with about 10 tables on the inside. They also have outdoor seating which is a nice alternative. Parking is no problem as there is a large lot. Just your typically pizza place really, nothing crazy going on. Service: The ladies that own this place or I always see working there are so nice! If they can, they will always accompany any requests (like my quart of spicy vodka sauce). I have never had any issues when calling in an order, and pick-up times are always under 30 min which is great. read more

Someone recommended Spinachio's to me so I gave it a shot. I ordered a chicken parm slice to eat there and a spinach slice to go. The slices are huge! One slice is enough for a meal. The chicken parm slice was ok. The spinach slice was fantastic and I will be back for that. I will say the spinach slices from Vinnie's in Wayne are very comparable in taste. Really 3 1/2 stars. Heard about how great the pizza was so ordered from them. Their red sauce is really tasty, but my grandma pizza was burnt on the edges and it wasn't as thin as expected. Spinach pizza was just okay. I'll probably try this place again and maybe try something else. read more

Went for dinner last night with my son. Had the thin crust cheese pie and buffalo pie. One of the best pies I have had. Cheese pizza was very crispy and had great flavor. Buffalo pizza was loaded with chicken and nice and crispy. Grew up in North Haledon and this is the best pizza by far the town has had. Very friendly service as well. I love Grande cheese mozzarella cheese on pizza. Only a few pizzerias in NJ use this cheese one is Deluca in Raritan. Dave portnoy gave Deluca 9+. This pizza at Spinachios is one of the best old style pies in the tri state area. The crust is crunchy on the outside chewy on the inside on the thin side but not a traditional thin pie. The sauce spicy with a great flavor. I am going back. I need more from this restaurant. read more

Flavors were distinct and ingredients felt fresh and not stale like most pizza places. Crust is nice lots of air pockets and not burnt, good amount of oil, melty stringy cheese, and the slice holds its shape for the bite without compromising the bite. I stand behind my previous review. If I want a margarita pie or some wings, I'm not coming here. But, if I'm just getting pizza.... They have the best cheese pizza around! The crust, sauce and cheese are all perfect! Their pizza is consistent. The crust is just right! They're not stingy with the sauce and the cheese is nice and browned. They use a better pepperoni than everybody else and it shows. Check the picture, see how the pepperoni is little slices? I've been having my friends over for football Sunday's and we tried a few different places. Everybody overwhelmingly wants their plain and pepperoni pizzas every week. I will say the pizza is great. But i was disappointed both times we went with the men at the register. One of them asked me if i wanted my change back which i feel is inappropriate and puts the customer on the spot. It's also tacky. And then the other man the next time was wearing a glove at the register handling money, and then picked up the pizza with the same glove. Please do better read more

This place is a hidden gem. The pizza is delicious and the folks that work here are friendly and passionate. Crust was delicious and the sauce was flavorful but not too salty. Ordered on Superbowl Sunday in the snow for delivery, and it only took about 45 min which was amazing in my opinion. The pizza was amazing, had cup pepperoni ( my favorite) the cheese was so flavorful, and it was thin crispy crust that I thought was cooked to perfection! I also ordered an order of mild wings, these definitely were not my favorite they seemed very seasoned and herby and then the sauce was put on top giving them a weird taste. Delicious pizza and great service. Can tell they use quality ingredients and cheeses. Pizza is baked perfectly, crispy crust. After trying all the local spots, we previously had one favorite pizza place for the last 6 years that became the only one we would ever order from. Decided to give this place a shot and we now have a new favorite. Have since ordered pizzas from here for work and the staff loved it as well. I've come here several times and this has become my new favorite pizza joint. Mussels Marinara (ask for extra sauce), calamari, pizza... everything i've had was excellent! Wings are basic, nothing special but crispy. Margherita Pizza was the best I can remember having. Crust is always cooked perfectly on all the pizza. Spinachio Pizza really did name their best pie after them, The Spinachio! It is absolutely drool worthy. White pies are hit or a miss in my family, and rest assured, this restaurant has unanimously won 'best overall white pie' in our household! It's our number one, go-to pizza spot for white pies. Don't get me wrong, I've tried their other pies and their pizza is overall delicious, but something about their Spinachio pie has you day dreaming and craving their white cheesy goodness. It has a medium thickness in dough, so don't expect a super thin crust and they don't hesitate on their toppings; I'd say they are even a bit heavy handed (YES PLEASE). No one likes a stingy topping pizza joint! Their fried calamari also impressed me. I hate when pizza places put this on the menu and then just buy junk they toss into their frier and serve up. Melany and I visited this place for the first time. I had a penne vodka pasta and a slice of white pizza with ricotta. I have to say the slice was really good, and the bread was also enjoyable. I wanted a second slice but had to save some room for penne vodka. The penne vodka was not too salty but perfect for me. Melany had baked ziti and thought it was not so bad but liked the pizza slice more than the pasta she had. We might come again some other day to try their other pizza. Good pizza spot. read more
