Grandma Slice! Take a bite out of it!!
Josh L.

This pizza spot is simply delicious! My favorite is the Grandma slice. With four cheeses , a homemade plum tomato sauce, topped with fresh basil , and a perfect crisp crust ~ this pie is next level pizza and an exceptionally delicious Italian treat. Zevy's soups are homemade, everything is made with a taste for quality, yummy craftsmanship, consistency in deliciousness and Heart. You'll be Happy you ate at Zevy's! Get the Grandma!

I like their pizza but it's on the expensive side for my family. They constantly are busy so they are popular in town

Obviously premade and reheated, but not enough because it was cold. Doughy & mushy crust, not crispy. Overpriced. Pass.

Grumpy's Sourdough Pizza Co. 522 Saddle River Rd…read more Saddle Brook, NJ 07663 Hot Honey Heaven Grumpy's Triple Threat Multiple people have reached out to me and suggested I explore this locally owned pizzeria located in the heart of Saddle Brook. As I entered the parlor, it is a hole in the wall with minimal seating and no AC unit. Regardless that it wasn't fancy, I still had a very gut instinct the quality of their pies was going to be on the money. When I arrived a weekday afternoon to place my order, the cashier informed me there will be a 40 minute wait. For the fact that the wait is this long indicates there are in demand and their pizza is top quality. I also saw framed plaques along their table counter showing they received positive media recognition from The Record, northjersey.com, and bestofnj.com. Hot Honey Heaven: I was initially skeptical about the appearance of this pie because it looks kind of messy. However, I took a single bite and was immediately hooked. This pie was topped with pepperoni, crispy chicken, and ricotta cheese. Mike's Hot Honey was generously poured over the top. It has a combination of sweet and spiciness. I never anticipated honey would enhance the flavor of the pie; I wish I requested an extra cup! Grumpy's Triple Threat: Named after the restaurant, this pie is prepared with pesto, grandma sauce, and pink tomato sauce. The sprinkled parmigiano reggiano added a nice touch. I especially liked the artistic appearance. The three colors were visually appealing, especially with the swirls of pesto. All pies are prepared with their signature sourdough pizza crust. Each slice had a perfect undercarriage and a firm crunch. Customers have the option to bake the pies may light, medium, or well-done. I chose medium because a majority of the customer base prefers this style. As a bonus, Grumpy's offer complimentary crust upgrades. I opted to add garlic butter brush; the outer crust edge was literally brushed with hot, garlic-infused butter. While it is common to throw away the top portion of the pizza, the upgrade is definitely an incentive to eat the crust. San Marzano tomatoes are the primary ingredient for the sauce. It's not overly sweet and has a light tang. This pizzeria is geared for take out, but there are plenty of benches only minutes away at Saddle River County Park. You can enjoy your pie while admiring the beautiful scenery of the park. The parking lot has limited spaces, but you can easily find a spot on the street. Grumpy's may be a hole in the wall, but the pizza was outstanding. I'm really exuberant that I had a pristine experience exploring sourdough crust for the first time! I was far from "grumpy" after dining here! #grumpys #grumpyssourdoughpizzaco #grumpystriplethreat #hothoneyheaven

A heads-up if you're driving: parking can be a little difficult. There's a sign pointing to parking in the rear, but the lot is pretty small. You may be better off parking on a side street and walking over. I went just before the lunch hour, and the line was already out the door. They were also getting plenty of phone calls, so they definitely seem to have a busy business going. As for the pizza, the taste was good overall. The dough was a little tough and seemed possibly overdone, and the type of cheese they use made the pizza feel a bit greasy. That said, I'd be willing to try it again. Next time, I might skip the personal pie and try a different size or style to see if that makes a difference. Staff were very kind!!!! * I didn't see any slices on display, but people were ordering by the slice.

A good pizza with very gracious customer service. I ordered 3 pizzas from here before, a plain,…read morebuffalo chicken, and chicken cutlet. I would say the buffalo chicken was the favorite, especially since it is different from buffalo chicken pizzas I've had from other pizza places. Here, it was a creamy buffalo sauce that replaced a traditional plain tomato sauce and not just hot sauce drizzled over a regular chicken pizza like in other pizza places, and it tasted pretty good. Plain and chicken cutlet were pretty good but not outstanding. To quote another reviewer here, I am no pizza expert, so I cannot offer a more detailed critique. That being said, even their plain is a bit different from many other pizza places and it may even be to the preference of some, so credit must be given where it is due, and I believe it is due to their sauce and crust mainly. To taste a bit of a different pizza is refreshing and enjoyable. And the owner of the restaurant (at least who I presume the guy behind the counter to be) seemed very nice to me also, so I believe they are worth giving a shot. In conclusion, Two Guys is an underrated pizza place that is quite deserving of the business it gets.

Nice place, good pizza and a fun place to go with friends…read more I had a lunch meeting here the other day and we enjoyed the good service, and a great sausage pizza. It was nicely cooked with a thin crust and the right amount of char on it. We ordered iced teas with it, no alcohol because it was a work day, but everything was good and our waiter was quick to refill our glasses. Glasses. She was extremely pleasant and checked in with us often. This was a good place to go on a rainy day and enjoy some time out. I think it's a good place for groups who want to get together for pizza. I'm not usually a chain fan but this was pretty good.

Went to Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza in Fairlawn (actually meant to head to the Wayne location --…read morewrong address in the GPS, but ended up here) and had a pretty disappointing experience at the outdoor bar. We asked to change the TV from a Spanish-language soccer broadcast to something else since none of us could follow along. Simple request, but the manager seemed put off by it. He handed the remote to a young bartender, who struggled with it for a while before handing it back to him. Instead of just asking what we'd actually want to watch, he put on baseball -- never asked, never checked in, just picked something and moved on to chat with what looked like regulars at the bar. It came across like our comfort wasn't really a concern once he'd "handled" it. Service issues aside, the real letdown was the attitude. As I was leaving and pushing in my barstool, a waiter dropped a can and some silverware near my feet. I told him not to worry about it, nothing got on me -- and the manager, who was nearby chatting with another regular, chimed in with a dismissive "no harm, no foul." Not exactly the tone you want from someone managing customer relationships. The food is fine, but the way this manager handled two small, easily fixable moments left a bad taste. A little more attentiveness and basic customer service awareness would go a long way here.
