two slices of cheese pizza on a paper plate
Ivette V.

There was plenty of parking out front and seating inside. They were half an hour shy of closing and welcomed us upon entering. They didn't have many options available so I ordered two cheese slices. This is a thin crust style pizza. The sauce has a nice flavor and ample cheese to meet your pizza craving. This isn't the BEST pizza I have had but if you are in the mood for pizza and don't mind a thin crust this is a decent option. There were several people walking in to pick up orders while I was there so this seems to be a well frequented place. I would return for more pizza and to try the wings.

Good thin slice plain pizza in a no frills, casual environment. Think pictures of little leagues and "thank you's" from the locals on the wall, a good menu, and fair prices. Nothing fancy, but very tasty. Duck in here for a quick slice while you are running your errands, and you won't be disappointed.

XL plain pie extra crispy

Love this place so much! Absolute Fair Lawn destination for pizza. They make a perfect crispy pie every time. The service is always quick and friendly ! The dining area is always clean and organized and all around a great place to be! 10/10 recommend, pizza is amazing and all the entrees are top notch as well. My favorite thin pizza around! Go try it!

Bruschetta pizza

Brushetta pizza absolutely delicious Linguini with clam sauce needed a littlr more garlic and other seasonings. But a LOT of clams so yummy

Asked for a well done pizza. We paid $16 for a raw pizza that was not in fact well done. As a loyal customer to Ness pizza for many years, I am severely disappointed with this past order. Ness was always my go to pizzeria but that may have to change due to this poor experience

Dry reheated pizza close up!

This place used to be really good. I just picked up 2 pies and they were terrible. 1 was definitely reheated! No longer my go to pizza place in Fair Lawn.

two slices of pizza on paper plates

Used to be a lot better than what it is now. Pizza has become overly greasy and very thin, also a pretty pricy. Cheese slices are pretty greasy and the cheese comes right off. Ordered a buffalo chicken slice and the chicken tasted old and the pizza tasted reheated. Pretty fast service, but not really worth it.

Waay cheesy and greasy

Best pizza around! Their Italian sub is better than some local deli's. We order from Ness at least twice a month.

The menu isn't massive, but they cover every category with extreme precision and do it really well. Seafood, pasta, veal, chicken, and all the classic appetizers you can think of from stuffed artichokes, zucchini blossoms, and house-made burrata. The ambiance is old-school Italian in the best way: timeless, romantic, and cozy. It works just as well for an intimate date night as it does for a small group dinner. Bonus points for being BYOB. We ordered the veal marsala and the seafood pomodoro. The veal was pounded to perfection and swimming in a ridiculously addictive sauce. The seafood pasta was cooked perfectly and loaded with fresh shrimp, clams, and mussels and you can taste the quality and care put in the food. Meals are served with a salad to start, and you can expect to spend around $35 per entrée, which feels more than fair for the quality. We were genuinely impressed and were treated with a lot of attention throughout the meal. The concept of the restaurant being run by two italian twins was honestly so sweet. Highly recommend if you're looking for classic Italian done right without trekking into the city.

I felt a little like Ray Liotta in "Goodfellas". The service was excellent and our waiter rattled off an extensive list of daily specials and they all sounded wonderful. We settled on burrata and a fried vegetable appetizer. The burrata was good but the fried thing was even better. I wish I could remember what it was because it was so good. I guess that's what I get for writing my reviews 2 months later. It was some kind of vegetable stuffed with cheese, battered and fried. It wasn't too oily and all the flavors and textures went well together. For our entrees we went with linguini in clam sauce and cavatelli, broccoli rabe, & sausage. The linguini was a solid plate of pasta. Linguini, clams, sauce. It tasted exactly how you expect it would and the pasta was cooked well. The cavatelli was much more interesting to me. The different textures and flavors really made it a joy to eat. The pasta was al dente while some of the sausage had some crispy bits to it. And the broccoli rabe kind of made me feeling like I was eating somewhat healthy The ambiance was nice if not a little dated. Not bad though, it was cozy. I'd come back, but not too often. It's pricey.

The dining area is one room adorned with attractive art decor and a glass wall overlooking the main road. The Caesar salad was a light, yet satisfying starter. The romaine lettuce, croutons and house made dressing blended the perfect trio! If you are looking for an appetizer with a touch of sweet and spice, the sausage & broccoli rabe will do the trick. The protein and vegetable blended well together with some diced tomatoes thrown on top. As always, I can never visit any Italian establishment without trying the Chicken Parmesan. For the most part, it did not disappoint. My sole critique is the excess amount of moisture beneath the linguini. I also used any extra mozzarella cheese as a topping for the pasta and table bread. Named after its restaurant, the chicken ciao bella was breaded and pan fried. The lemon butter sauce definitely added flavor to the cutlets and the side vegetables were just as "bella" as the main entree. The coffee flavored dessert was paradise. The taste as so rich and pure in flavor, you definitely didn't need coffee either this final course. I highly recommend this location if you want a decent meal at reasonable price. Great italian bread with an amazing olive oil for dipping. Olive oil is nicely spiced and includes a shaved cheese. Fried calamari was perfectly done. They offer mild or spicy marinara and we were able to get both for the table. Yummy! Great marinara!! Complimentary salad is a nice plus especially these days. Huge serving. Classic salad ingredients except topped with minced italian meats and cheese. A light italian dressing. De-lious. Chicken parm entree was thinly sliced and perfectly fried, lots of cheese in a wonderful marinara sauce, side of pasta included. Pork braciole over homemade gnocchi was amazing. Pork was fork tender and expertly stuffed and seasoned. Gnocchi were soft and fluffy. Another huge portion. I had it for 3 meals. Crispy salmon over mushroom risotto was perfection. Salmon was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Risotto was beautiful made with lots of mushrooms. So creamy! Just a bit too much finishing olive oil for our taste. Cappuccino was delicious with a big whipped cream top. Tartufo ice cream is traditional and delicious. A wonderful restaurant.
