Citrus Chicken Wrap expectation vs reality.
Michelle K.

I wish you could give 1/2 stars, because this rating would be 2.5 stars. My fiancé ordered the teriyaki wrap and I got the citrus chicken. Both of our wraps had a tiny amount of "meat". I have attached a picture of what is shown on their website and what I actually received. It's almost comical how much less "chicken" they actually give you. This is the second time I've received a skimpy wrap and I gave them another try to see if maybe it was just a bad day. Nope, they really just pack that wrap full of lettuce and a tiny taste of "chicken". The small amount you do get tastes really good though. I just think think it's crazy to spend over $7 on a lettuce filled wrap. We also ordered the veggie wonton soup. It was alright until I chomped down on a big ol' piece of ginger. That was extremely unpleasant. Overall, I'm going to stop being lazy and just cook for myself until Veggie Heaven decides to open another restaurant closer to Fair Lawn.

Came here for a quick lunch with my sister b/c we were running errands in the area and I've been wanting to try this place out. Its a cute little shop with a lot of healthy options. Definitely a peaceful environment. They have two tables or so to eat in. My sister and I both ordered the chicken teriyaki wrap made with veggie chicken.. I enjoyed it but I do wish there were more chicken pieces in it. I think this is a good place to go if you are trying to be health conscious.

Natural Way Cafe was a interesting surprise with super fresh chicken and fresh taste of broccoli. Perfect for a light dinner. The workers here are very friendly and will update you with whatever you need. There are tons of foods and snacks to buy in the store inside. The location is very easy to find. Parking is not too bad either, just don't go there expecting to get your parking on a busy st of Broadway.

Farbia and Mami - They are the healthy choice!

its shops like this that I hope never go out of business, I absolutely love it here. Vegan, Gluten Free and Health conscious. The owners are so sweet and helpful. You can tell they enjoy their business and are happy to see people eating healthy. They have great drinks, smoothies, teas, coffee, wheat grass shots, etc. Its all organic and fresh! The wraps, the platters, the sushi etc. It's all good and healthy and a fun knock off of meat and fish. You will be pleasantly surprised by this store/deli. its a very fun place to check out esp if you are a health nut. Go in there if your hungry, go in there if your just interested, go in there if you don't feel good. tell Farbia why you're there and he will recommend the best meal, or supplement, or whatever for you. he will also perform free accu-pressure, and will show you how to do it on yourself. Where do you get this kind of service? Another really great thing I just found out he is going to offer is meal planning. So if you are diabetic, or looking to lose weight, unhealthy, etc. - he will create a personal meal plan for you to help to create balance in your life. He is doing some really great things, someone came as far as Boston, to meet with him directly while I was there. Very cool things are going on in this shop! It's not your typical deli/store. and the owners, well you will never meet kinder people in your life! Trust me - pay a visit! Tell em Mary sent ya.

There's noway I could give this place less than 5 stars! It's so very rare to find a place that puts a lot of love and time into their food and service, so when I find a gem like this, I can't wait to gush about it! Upon entering I had an instant good vibe, not to mention I was greeted by a really friendly guy. They have so many natural products all around the shop. I ended up buying Pangu salt for the bath, granola, trail mix and these AMAZING Cocoa Covered Almonds...wow, almost ate the entire container. Besides my take home purchases, I did order the Chicken Teriyaki Sandwich for lunch. It was really delicious and tasted fresh and healthy. I can't wait to try the other menu items! There is a tiny section of the store to sit down and eat. They play calming nature music in the background. It was a very zen experience to say the least!

#19 eating healthy maaaaaaan

This is my first vegan food store; I enjoyed my experience here (you can tell from the pics I uploaded). I love Chinese food and I'm all for eating healthy as long as it tastes food. But we all know food that's good for you rarely tastes good. The food and the snacks here were all delish, my fav was the candied nuts! The noodle dish (#19) was good but it was a too salty for my taste. The faux chicken was very nostalgic for me. My grandma owns a Buddhist temple so faux meat was readily available to me but my fam wouldn't let me eat too much/too often because I was still "growing" and it wasn't nutritious enough when I was younger. But eating it now just brought back so many childhood memories. I'm prbly one of the very few ppl that loves tofu, amongst my friends anyways since none of them is Asian or they are all Americanized. I will come back again because I do wanna eat more healthy. It doesn't hurt to get back to my Asian roots either! :)

This is by far my favorite vegan, organic, gluten free spot in the area... the owners (I wouldn't even call them just that, they are like family are absolutely wonderful, they will really help guide you to a healthier lifestyle). I absolutely love their dishes that come with organic brown rice. The mushroom dish and the spicy vegetables are amazing. I always ask for tofu and the oblige. Mama's Mama Sandwich is SO tasty. It's healthy yet hearty. Farbio's oils are the best homemade in the area, try the love and the sleep... I get all my cooking supplies and oil/aromatherapy goodies here! I love it here. It's like home

Shao Bing Sandwich with Citrus Chicken added, The Booster Juice

I really wish I could've gave this 5 stars. The place is so cute, the employee I met so knowledgable and nice, and the items they sell so varied and look extremely appetizing. Cute little seating area for lunch break as well. I got The Shao Bing Sandwich with Citrus Chicken added and The Booster Juice. The sandwich was absolutely DELICIOUS. Tasted like real Chinese food. The bread was flaky and like nothing I've ever had before. So light and filling. Asked for ginger sauce on the side- salty but great as well. I was so excited to have a juice and feel refreshed- but it was so unpleasant I could hardly drink it. Perhaps it was because I've never had wheatgrass? Anyway, I'll definitely return and keep trying. Highly suggest.

Veggie lover wrap
Alexis A.

On my quest for more delicious vegan food, I found this little gem on Broadway after a trip to the mall. It's right next to a nail salon on the corner and parking wasn't difficult. Growing up around vegetarians meant that there were many trips to health food stores throughout my childhood so this place felt like home to me. It doubles as a cafe and a health food store that provides juices, supplements, healthy snacks, gluten free products, etc. They've got a pretty decent food menu and the people working the counter were very nice. I decided to order a veggie lover wrap which comes on whole wheat and includes romaine lettuce, avocado, alfalfa sprouts, red pepper, onion, and tomato. Although I enjoyed the wrap, my only complaint is that it was a little dry at times so I wish it came with some kind of dressing but It definitely was still enjoyable. I took my food to go, but they have a little section in which you were able to sit and eat. Their prices were reasonable to me and on par with what I'd expect from a health food store/cafe. I would love to return and try out some more of their vegan dishes.

Tofu Dumplings
Nick C.

Most of the location is taken up by a health food store, but they do serve vegetarian/vegan food. I'm not vegan or vegetarian, and neither was the woman working the counter when I visited. I tried out the tofu dumplings anyway. They're a bit pricey at 4 for nearly $6, but they are were very tasty. They also serve juices, sandwiches, and wraps at better prices.

Sandra M.

Great place for a yummy snack - I had a wrap that apparently had a chicken substitute that they said their customers claimed it tasted better than chicken. It was definitely yummy! I also ended up getting some pangu salt here and some oil of oregano. Killed 2 birds with one stone here. They also have those salt lamps here and some device that makes drinks out of wheat grass...? I'm not into that, but good if you don't want to pay for shipping for said device.

Curry chicken, miso soup, and the beauty drink with a cold and sinus blaster boost.

They offered two little slips to each customer - one for a savory crepe and one for a sweet and you can build you own. Great concept but it would be beneficial if the server confirmed the order because we asked for nutella, banana, strawberry, and ice cream and got 2/4. We were in a rush to leave so forgot to check the receipt to see if we were charged for the others; however it was $48 (w/o tip) for 1 panini, 1 crepe and 1 latte so a bit overpriced for the quality of food, in my opinion. The sandwich and crepe were both just okay, nothing to rave about. The drink was aesthetically pleasing with the iced Bear and tasted great. We asked for whipped cream on the latte but our server forgot that too. She also forgot to provide us water until we asked and it came at the end of the meal.  Outside dining was not optimal as it's right next to the railroad tracks and quite loud. There is a kids play area which I thought was a nice addition to the space, but I do wish it was gated off for the younger kids as it's so close to the road! Overall, I found that it was a bit overrated and underwhelming... there are so many restaurants to choose from in the area that I wouldn't opt to come back here.

A Hidden Gem You Can't Miss!…read more I stumbled upon this adorable local café by accident, and I'm so glad I did. It's a truly special spot that feels like a breath of fresh air compared to the usual chain coffee shops. The coffee is outstanding. Their cortado and flat white are perfectly crafted and some of the best I've had. We also tried the cold matcha with a squirt of strawberry syrup, which was absolutely delicious a perfect refreshing treat. The pastries are a highlight too; they are homemade and baked fresh on a "need-to-basis," so you know everything is made with care and never sits around. What really sets this place apart is the atmosphere. It is incredibly dog-friendly, which was a huge plus for us since we brought our furbaby along. He absolutely loved his "pupachino"! We were lucky enough to enjoy the beautiful weather on their outside seating area, which added to the lovely vibe. We even got to meet the owner, who was kind, warm, and welcoming, and the staff is equally friendly. It's rare to find a place with such genuine hospitality. Definitely make this your go-to spot before heading to Starbucks or Dunkin' Donuts. You won't regret supporting this wonderful local business!

Once you sit down you scan a QR Code to order your food and drinks. I was pretty hungry that day so we ended up ordering a ton of food. The drinks were pretty good and they were served in Le Creuset mugs. Not the biggest deal, but I can appreciate some nice drinkware. The bowl of Kimchi Fried rice came out first. It was a generous portion and the rice was cooked well, but I feel like it could've used some more kimchi. The eggs on top were cooked perfectly and added good texture to the dish. The next dish to come out was the HK French toast. The bread was nice and fluffy which paired well with a nice generous drizzle of condensed milk. I enjoyed this a lot. We also ordered scallion pancake, pork barbecue, and bossam baos. These were ok, I would probably pass on a return visit. I felt like the meat in the baos was a little tough though they did have decent flavor. The last entree was the smoked salmon and avocado croissant; I really enjoyed this. It had a generous helping of smoked salmon and avocado as well. The saltiness of the salmon paired well with the creamy and fatty avocado. The croissant was also nice and flaky. It was also served with a house salad which had a nice drizzle of dressing on it too. For dessert we ordered a Black Sesame Souffle Pancake. This was SO good. A few months ago I visited a place in Princeton that specialized in these Japanese-style pancakes and Tasty Junction's version was so much more enjoyable. I loved that it was served with a healthy scoop of ice cream. The pancake was airy and had a bounce to it. Each bite was so good and made even better with the ice cream. I'd definitely come back just for the pancakes. All in all Tasty Junction is a great spot tucked away in Glen Rock

It was busy when I ran in today around 12:45p on a Sunday and that's always a good sign. It looks clean and the drinks I saw looked appetizing. The food menu sounds fantastic. The guy who helped me with my order was super nice. But I actually went in there on the hunt for something specific. It's the 2nd time I went in since they moved to the space across the street from where they were. The first time I stopped in quickly and saw they had what I was looking for but very few so I didn't buy anything. l had done a very difficult and time intensive Google search for Macaron Cafe macarons. They wholesale out of NYC and they're the best macarons ever. There are probably 6-7 places in Ridgewood that sell macarons, some that make them fresh baked. And none are as good as the ones from Macaron Cafe. Pre-covid I could find them locally pretty easily. But now, it's really hard. Most of the places that sell them put up a menu of the flavors that's very easily identifiable, and they carry the full line. By googling a photo of the menu I was able to find them in Fort Lee and American Dream and those are both too far. I'd gone into every single place that sells macarons in downtown Ridgewood except RCC and none of them have them. I finally made it into Ridgewood when RCC is open (we usually end up in Ridgewood after dinner and they're closed) and imagine my joy in seeing the macarons there. I can tell it's them instantly. Except - they only have like eight of the flavors! They don't advertise them. They don't have the menu up either, so they only way I could tell there might be a chance of them being there was an old photo of their counter from Yelp or Google. So, I didn't have any drinks or food. I just bought some macarons. And I would've bought more except that they didn't really have the flavors I wanted. There are generally around 28-32 flavors and they change/add/take away every few months/holidays, etc. My knocking a star is ONLY for the lack of flavors of these amazing macarons and only having a tease amount of flavors of them. And they should advertise their baked goods/desserts better, like in photos on instagram. They don't post enough of all their food. I had to just take a chance and come in from an old photo. I know I don't want to have to drive to American Dream mall for these macarons. And I know the girls behind me in line today were talking about how they came in for tiramisu.

They've only been open for a year or so, but have been very successful! I've visited a few times and have never been disappointed. The interior is cozy and chic, with Argentinian-inspired decor like navy blue accents, lush greenery, wooden tones, leather couches, and wall art of Buenos Aires. There are two floors with seating and lounge areas. It truly feels like you're in someone's comfy living room! The cafe is part of an apartment building that used to be a bank, so there are high ceilings and arched windows. The owner, Jeremias, added thoughtful touches to make the cafe a welcoming and inviting space for customers. They have free wifi, outlets, dog treats, and crayons for kids! The menu offers your classic espresso beverages as well as seasonal and specialty drinks. My all-time favorite is the dulce de leche latte. I've had it hot and iced. They both taste amazing, but I prefer it hot. The steamed milk froth is the perfect texture - silky and creamy with micro foam bubbles. They have a machine that prints out cute messages/latte art on the surface :) The drink itself has a good balance between espresso, steamed milk, and dulce de leche sauce. If you need that strong cup of coffee that will keep you energized, you came to the right spot. The espresso is bold, rich, smooth, and well balanced with the caramelized, milky sweetness of the dulce de leche. They have a variety of popular Argentinian pastries like medialunas, vigilantes, bolas, sacramentos, margarita pasteleras, empanadas, and more. Everything is baked with love, freshly made in-house, and delicious! You cannot go wrong with trying any of them. The dough is flaky, buttery, and fluffy. Nothing is overly sweet. If you're a fan of dulce de leche (caramelized milk jam), you're in the right place because many of the pastries are filled with it. And if you've never tried it before... you must!!! Don't forget to grab an empanada, especially the beef! The dough is flaky, tender, and stuffed with a ton of meat. The filling consists of ground beef, onions, bell peppers, hard-boiled eggs, and spices (cumin, paprika, oregano). The beef is juicy, savory, and seasoned with warm spices for a touch of heat. The staff are always welcoming, friendly, and personable. They have a lot of loyal/regular customers (rightfully so) and there's a genuine sense of community here. This is the type of spot that will remember your face, name, and order. It's not easy to find great customer service nowadays. Drinks crafted with care, fresh pastries, warm service, and a cozy environment? Now that's the type of cafe that I will keep coming back to over and over again.
