Juniors pizza is a hidden gem. Ok it's on the Main Street so it's not that hidden. This place has an old school vibe & decor. The girls at the front desk were very accommodating. The pizza was reasonably priced & came out quick. They had a great selection of pizza and Italian dinners. The margarita pizza was just right. It folded nicely, was easy to eat, had the right of sauce & cheese. If you're in the area and looking for pizza, they're better than their competitors. read more

The food is always absolutely amazing and everything is so fresh. Not only is every single staff member the sweetest, they remember their regulars and I really appreciate that. I am welcomed with my name when they see me and it's just such a warming feeling knowing that they know who you are. This is my absolute favorite restaurant to get subs. The service is excellent, the counter girls work hard and are never afraid to assist. The delivery drivers are also willing to help out all customers, even thought it isn't their job to do so. The owners are humble and go above and beyond because they actually value their customers. I've always enjoyed Juniors, but recently, I had my most fulfilling experience with the place. After ordering pizza on a random Thursday night, as one does, a bird entered my house as I grabbed the food from the delivery person. I hold no resentment to this person, in fact I appreciate what followed. This bird flew around my house, perching on various different objects. It was from this moment that I began a fierce battle against this bird. We were evenly matched: it could fly and I could think. After this battle raged on for thirty minutes, I managed to get it to the top floor of my home. There, I could reach the ceiling and anything it could perch on. After stealthily creeping up on it, I managed to trap it inside a crate, then seal it, all with the bird unharmed. From this moment forth, after taking several victory videos, I brought it outside and it refused to fly away. To honor this bird for its effort in our battle I grabbed a slice and threw it a tiny piece. This story ends with the bird and I sharing a slice of Juniors pizza. The coppacola was slice like steaks.. thick sliced.. the salami (or what appeared to be that) was loaded. with so much fat and sliced thick also that I pulled it off ...the roll was definitely old...not completely stale but plastic bag stored. Came here with a large family group of 9 on a quiet Tuesday night. The staff was very pleasant and set up a large table. They were easy going and accommodating to our special requests. The food was great. We had many different items - carbonara, sausage & porcini mushrooms, shrimp Cesar salad, anti pasta, pizza etc. portions were generous and everyone enjoyed their meals. I wish I could give this place a zero star rating. My family, and I made a quick stop to grab food before we headed back on the road. My mom asked for her burger to be medium rare, and she received a burger that was overcooked, dry, and lacked any taste. My brother ordered chicken nuggets and fries, but he opened the container to reveal burnt rock hard nuggets and fries so over cooked you would think the potato had evaporated only leaving the taste of old oil. I had eggplant parmesan with spaghetti that was overcooked and under seasoned. I had not eaten all day, and none of us could even finish our food. Gross. Subs are always messy, and if you get the hot ones they are ALWAYS way too greasy. And the quality of the pizza is about as good as Pizza Hut. But my biggest complaint is that the delivery service is atrocious. I was told on the phone on a Wednesday night that it would take one hour for an order that was about $25, so obviously, I would probably expect it any time between 45 minutes to up to 1 hour and 15 minutes. I waited an hour 45 and the pizza was cold and messed up to say the least. I ordered a BBQ chicken pie and the sauce was splattered everywhere, that's disgusting. I guess people just go here because many Oakland residents remain loyal to Juniors, but it seems like that number is dwindling by the day. read more

First time I went to this place was in 1990 and I remember it looked awesome back then it has evolved a great deal. It used to have a 50s American classic look to it with posters and everything. they had a pinball machine and one of my friends used to work there. Its a family owned business the foods pretty good it's not the best Italian food in the world but the people who work there always are nice and the food is pretty decent as far as the taste and the sauce. Usually the place did very well from what I remember because it was close to a high school so a lot of the students would go there for pizza after school. Oh and this was the first time that I saw a jolt cola for sale. But overall the food is decent it doesn't have a ton of taste but it's very just season the meat balls as well. It's very good for a quick meal or a grab and go. Also I heard they have new hours and some nights they're open very late and may deliver at that time to. read more

The food is a regular generic Italian place with gyros for regular daily kind of food. The people working there are amazing. I asked for falafels and now they have falafels. Had our whole family (5 of us) and looking for a cheap lunch on a road trip. Nobody was disappointed! My 5 year old got a slice, BLT sub my daughter had was loaded with bacon. In a area with a lot of competition for pizzerias, Juniors stands as the cheapest and the weakest. I'll never forget the lasagna I got that was just a plate of ground beef and sauce with slices of cheese melted on top. After a minute my plate of lasagna was now a plate of ground beef and sauce. Order from here if your ordering for a party and u need a lot of food for cheap, but if your trying to treat yourself look elsewhere.
