What is going on here? It's like there's no quality control anymore. The last 2 times we got the Sicilian pie were pure letdowns. Added mushrooms were not spread out. Seemed like the person just dumped a half handful onto the center of the pizza which. All the water from the mushrooms created a super wet (NOT AT ALL crusty) crust. Another time, a good 2 inches from the entire border was cheeseless. WTH? will probably give Natale's one more chance. read more

This is the second Christmas that we ordered catering from Natales. It was so good and we received so many compliments from our guests. The meatballs were delicious as was the eggplant rolantini. We also ordered the cavatelli with broccoli and the number one hit was the tray of assorted Stromboli! Everything was delicious. They help me carry the trays to my car and were so helpful on the phone. They also included instructions on how to heat the Stromboli. We order from Natales at least once a week off the regular menu as well. We are already talking about what to order for the best event. read more

Still my go-to pizza spot but I'm a little disappointed the last couple of times I ordered a Sicilian pie they were incredibly lazy with the sauce and cheese and missed a pretty significant amount of real estate on the pie. In fact tonight's had three slices that were 2/3 or worse without any sauce or cheese. It's a little hard to tell from the photos here but look at where the cuts are so you can get an idea of size of the slice and just how little sauce and cheese there is. I decided to go to Natales to pick up an eggplant, Parm hero, when I got home and went to eat the sandwich , it was horrible!!!The sauce had no flavor . Tasted like a can of tomato paste with no seasoning. The eggplant was oily With no flavor and there was hardly any mozzarella cheese on it at all. I was starving I didn't have lunch and I was waiting to eat my dinner right after work when I got home. I will never go back there again. I ordered a pizza to be picked up this past Saturday night at 6:30. I placed the order for a full pie, well done with black olives on half at 5:30 for the 6:30 pick up. Went to pick up the pie at 6:30 and they said that they were backed up and will have it out in 10 minutes. The pizza came out 20 minutes later, and was not well done as requested and a grand total of 5 olives on it. How I haven't reviewed this place already is mind blowing. This is the pizza place I grew up with and every other pizza judgment revolves around this and Nellie's, depending on style. The cheese when eaten fresh and crust when still hot are virtually impossible to beat. The key to whether you like Natale's Pizza or not is whether you like the sauce or not because people do have preferences in this area. For me when hot, the sauce is perfect, although it does not reheat as well as some people would like and may be thicker than most people would like. Though not nearly as much quantity, the physical consistency of the sauce is more along the lines of a Chicago deep dish. The speed is the same as it has been for the last 25+ years even though the prices like every pizza joint have risen. The service turns over quite a bit, though my experience last week was of the highest quality. The quality of sandwiches and other items can vary year over year as well, even though the pizza is about as consistent as you can possibly be over multiple decades. This is a borderline 5 for me, even though I could see why people who go for other sandwiches could disagree. There are many other Italian options in the area, some of which have better stombolis and calzones and for that reason I give four stars. read more

Small pizzeria with 3 small circular tables that sit 3 and a small counter that sits 3. Definitely a take out joint because there is obviously very limited stool seating with no atmosphere. Almost everything including entrees is under $11 with subs around $6. Big selection of can/bottle soda. $7.10 for 10in Veal parm sub and can of soda is a good bang for the $ unfortunately the veal quality lacked, seems like premade frozen breaded pattie. The sauce was good. They don't use fresh mozzarella boo. The staff is friendly, no bathroom. OK for a quick cheap bite, but I'd say check out one of the other dozen or so restaurants within walking distance and pass on Nat's. read more

What my wife and I usually order from the place are wings. The wings are good size and sauces are decent. But the amount of sauce you get depends on who makes the wings. Sometimes the wings will be drenched in sauce and sometimes the sauces will be inconsistently spread on the wings. They need a way to coat the wings properly with the sauce. There is a wings and sub shop close by called Ike's that's more expensive but the taste is the same. Other food here such as wraps, subs, and pastas are decent.
