Cute flowers on one of the tables.

My soulmate and I continued our 7 year anniversary by having brunch at this cute restaurant on Sunday, 5/31. For those that like to dine outside, they have beautiful outdoor seating. There are only 6 to 7 spaces in the parking lot, so you might want to find a spot up the road at the mini mart. The decor is very nice on the inside, too, but the chairs are situated very close together. The staff is amazing. They answered all of our questions about the menu, and they delivered our drinks and dishes with a smile every time. Most importantly, the food is delicious. My soulmate is not a fan of salad, but he really enjoyed the apple and pear salad. I ordered the Mac and Cheese, and we both agreed, it was the best we ever had. He was raving about the burger with the mozzarella cheese and roasted peppers. I was lucky he shared a quarter of his burger with me. We did not have any room for dessert. We'll be back for more!

Beautiful Memorial Day brunch with the family! This new addition to the brunch scene in Allendale offers plenty of parking and a tidy, well-run operation. First of all, the service was very attentive--everyone was smiling and checking in on our table's needs. We ordered salmon Benedict, ricotta lemon pancakes, truffle mushroom omelette, French toast, and egg with steak. Everything was 5/5.

My $19 breakfast special: steak omelet.

The first time I went and had breakfast here, I couldn't wait to come back and eat again: the food was phenomenon! And so, after arriving from Denver to New Jersey this past week, I insisted that we come and eat here again. What a disappointment meal my family and I had, and I will not set my foot in this restaurant again. The staff were very nice and friendly. As we were seated, we were given the daily specials along with their regular menu. To start our meals, we decided to try their lemon flavor doughnut. For $11 and just six donut holes, I would skip this starter item. Although there's nothing wrong with these donut holes, I thought the price for them was way too much for 6 holes, and it wasn't worth the money that we paid. Next, other than the kids pancakes, we three diners decided to order their specials: steak omelette, the brisket breakfast, and the pumpkin pancakes. My steak omelette started with some good bites, but the more I ate, the more I wanted some sort of sauce (salsa maybe?) to balance the plain and lack of/no flavored omelette. Talking about flavors, my daughter gave me a piece the brisket from her order, and it was so bland that my son-in-law had to add salt in order to give the brisket some "savory" flavor. What we liked the most was the pumpkin pancakes. We thought they did a great job with this dish. However, there wasn't anything special about it because you can get this dish anywhere and it would be good, according to my son-in-law who orders this dish a lot. I also ordered the cappuccino, and that drink failed. I only sipped 1/3 of this coffee and couldn't force myself to drink anymore. Overall, I was let down by the people who cooked our dishes today. For 3 main entrées, pancakes for a toddler, a starter of 6 donut holes, 2 coffees and one black iced tea, the total including tax and tip was almost $150. I don't mind paying for good food, but as I mentioned, this restaurant disappointed me so much that I had to write this review. I wonder what other diners thought of their food this morning here, because the place was 95% packed. And so, the atmosphere was filled with people talking and eating. I wonder though: were they really enjoying their food? Or, were they just going through the motion and eat just because it's there? This one reviewer will probably know the answer.

Nice place for breakfast in a cute downtown area with 2 hour parking for free. Thank you Allendale! You're supporting your downtown businesses. I had a cappuccino, egg white power bowl that came with potatoes and a salad We sat on the outside patio which is set back from the sidewalk so less noise from the street Inside looked very nice too. Would definitely come back again

Lovely new brunch spot! Toddler friendly, great food, attentive service. The restaurant decor is super cute - perfect for a ladies brunch. We had the Tex Mex, Caprese sandwich, and Turkey BLT and everything was delicious. The lemon ricotta bites are not to be missed! Super fluffy and yummy. I would love to come back for pancakes and the rest of the menu.

We were first timers to Morning Bloom. The place is so cute. Love the decor! It is a casual place. The was pretty good. Our party had a mix between brunch items and dessert. The service was good, the only downfall was that I believe she entered my order in wrong that our entire table of food came and I was almost given something I didn't order then had to wait for my meal to be made. By the time my food came out everyone was basically done with their food. The apple croissant dessert is delicious. It is similar to a small apple pie.

Adorable restaurant with outdoor seating available. Great for girls and family brunch. Plenty to choose from on the menu. Portions are on the smaller side, we left satisfied but not overstuffed. The servers are very nice and payed careful attention to our long list of adjustments we requested to menu items. I ordered the salad with apples and pears. It was missing the cranberries and had about a teaspoon or so of farro in the salad and there were Barely any walnuts and pears. Although the dish was very fresh, the chicken I added was tender and the dressing was delicious. They just need to put more toppings that were described to make it excellent. Overall, great Mother's Day brunch for the 6 of us. Reservations are a must.

Very big on brunch places and this has got to be a place you definitely want to try. The food was exceptional, but the service is what made this place over top on my list of places for brunch. The owner has two other restaurants across the street from what I was told. All of them amazing restaurants, Mezza and Allendale steakhouse which we frequent there quite often. They all have private parking which is great because when Allendale gets busy at night during dinner hours, you'll have a hard time finding parking. The ambiance of Morning Bloom is nicely and elegantly decorated like the other restaurants. There's a huge cherry blossom in the middle of the dining area and tables surrounding. Nice touch. There's not a lot of tables inside, however, if you don't mind the weather there's ample seats outside the restaurant. The host got a table inside right away with my party of 10. The waitress was friendly and accommodating knowing that half of our table consisted of children. She knew to get us kid cups with kids which is a nice touch.

Nice interior and easy parking out front. Wasn't a huuuge fan of my meal but my wife liked hers. Coffee was good and the service was good although it was a weekday morning. Will be back to try other menu options.

We came here for a birthday brunch. We frequently visited the location when it was the old allendale steakhouse spot. They did a great job with the decor and inside, it is very bright and welcoming. I liked how they boxed in the front waiting area with glass. We made a reservation for a Saturday brunch. The place is BYOB. They have a very large menu with lots of breakfast and lunch items, there is something for everyone! We all enjoyed our meals and it is a great local brunch spot.

I cannot say enough good things about Morning Bloom. My brother and I went on a Sunday morning and were instantly greeted. The staff is very pleasant and attentive. The ambiance is perfect for a casual breakfast or even a fun brunch. It is beautiful inside! I got the salmon Benedict that was fabulous. Overall I had an amazing experience and will be back!

A very cute spot to go to with my work team. It was super busy for a Tuesday, so it took some extra time to get someone to come to our table. I would definitely come back but to make a friendly suggestion, have the waitress check in with the table every now and then. We had to signal someone a few times to come when it was taking too long.

The food was fresh (how did they find a flawless avocado in the middle of winter???) and the flavors delicious. Don't go too far, because somehow they're able to move the tables without making folks feel rushed. Each person we encountered -- the host, the folks at the counter, our server -- was nicer than the last. I got a bowl that had slightly cooked spinach, poached eggs, sweet potatoes and that GOHgeous avocado I mentioned above. One thing I really liked about this bowl is that it didn't have rice in it -- something that would've made it too overwhelming. This was the perfect combo and portion size. Someone else in our small group got the avocado toast (more avocado!!) and also said it was excellent. Definitely plan to return!

The citrus scented wild rice was excellent too. ++++ Truffle Burger - Honestly, one of the BEST burgers I've had in a longggggg, longgggg time. Everything was perfect about it - the caramelized onions, gruyere on top, bacon, truffle aioli, and, of course, the burger itself. The patty was dripppping with juices with every single bite and cooked to medium excellence. Oh, and those truffle fries that came with it? To die for! Loved the thinness of them and there was PLENTY of it to go around. ++++ Kids Macaroni & Cheese with Fruit - Relatively simple, but the creamy kind of mac and cheese. Kids absolutely loved it. I suggest you head towards the houses, away from town, if you can't find a spot. I've been anxious to try this place as the pictures look solid enough and reviewers thus far seem content. My wife and I entered with plans to have beer and apps. We ended up getting Guinness, onion rings, fried calamari and the Cooper's Burger. You can't beat a 22oz Guinness for $8. The prices on their website also match what you'll see inside. Lately I find so many restaurants are charging more than they advertise online. Service was great, friendly and very attentive. I was also surprised to see how well they clean tables between customers. Spray, wipe table, wipe lamp, shakers, etc. It's totally clean for the next customer. There are only 8 or so tables in here, plus bar seating. We enjoyed some comfy seats at a high top table for two. The onion rings were great - crisp and battered nicely so they hold together. While almost a little overcooked, they were still good and better than I had at the last high end steakhouse I went to. The fried calamari was fairly priced and a good portion. It had a light crispness, though bigger pieces would've been nicer. They were mostly small, but certainly a lot of it. The accompanying marinara was good and plentiful. We got the Cooper's Burger cooked medium and it came out medium. It's a simple burger that comes with lettuce and tomato. Some red onion wouldn't been nice. They charge extra for all sorts of stuff you can get on top - fried mushrooms, fried onions, eggs, etc. It also comes with fries, which were good. Overall, it was a nice cozy time. Several middle aged couples ate here that night and a couple small groups. No loud bar crowds as they're all on central avenue. In fact, I was surprised how nice the acoustics were inside. You can hear people at your table no problem, can hear the music inside at the right level and don't hear a lot of background chatter or noise. I'd most certainly return if in the mood for pub food.
