Though not huge, their menu is plant based with an assortment of brunch/lunch items like bowls, salads and interesting sushi, as well as smoothies and other drinks. If you're open to vegan food and uncommon items in a western diet, you'll enjoy it. The pad thai slaw and sushirito were delicious and well made and everything on the menu was inviting. The teas were lovely and I really enjoyed being able to select a blend of herbs for my tea mug. There was some herbal water available, and a selection of desserts on the counter and in the fridge - chocolatey delights like "snickers" bars. We found a corner next to the stage with two armchairs and a coffee table which was the coziest corner to sit and chat. Though it was Friday afternoon at lunch time and there were several other small groups, it never felt crowded and we were able to stay for a few hours enjoying our tea and meal. Staff were very friendly and accommodating, and non-intrusive. You order at the counter and then sit down, and we were not disturbed at all besides our meal being brought to us when it was ready. Parking is limited but at least they have a lot. It's a short walk into the main part of the town. They also occasionally host events. Looking forward to returning!

To be fair, all she orders is the chicken salad sandwich and she has order nothing else. Today, that changed as we ordered the Apple Cranberry Crisp à la mode along with her Chicken Salad sandwich and that dessert was delicious! It wasn't too sweet and it had me thinking "what kind of apples do they use for this?" It even got reactions from everyone who dined nearby us in the restaurant. So the ambiance was very friendly as while it appeared like they were regulars, they were not because they've never seen the Apple Cranberry Crisp in person. We took our four month old infant and the place was accommodating to that as well. The decor was very traditional but very clean, like you were in the dining room of the golden age of your grandma's house (I hope that makes sense like it does for me). Anyway, I had the NJ Sloppy Joe and that was also delicious - especially with the sweet potato salad that came with it. I also had the cappuccino and the affogato because I had no coffee yet by this point of the day and I had to double down on my espresso intake lol. The Rolling Pin looks like it's been around for the past 75 years and I hope it sticks around for ever. Please give this place a try if you're nearby looking for lunch. You won't forget it!

Not enough words can describe the amazing food here…read more I didn't know what to expect when stumbling into Country MKT diner, and you shouldn't too. Take those expectations and throw them out the window, and open your taste buds and mind to new flavors to homemade dishes that will blow you away. I heavily recommend the mozzarella sticks which are more like bricks of cheese dipped in seasoned coatings that will make other mozzarella sticks think of a new name when these melt in your mouth and pull apart perfectly. The homerun of a sandwich is the Bun Jovi which is a honey Sriracha chicken schnitzel slathered with swiss cheese, pickles, pastrami, and coleslaw. And this dream of a sandwich delivers. The blue seating booths make the diner fun , with high backs they provide comfort and some privacy to your conversations. The staff is beyond freindly and each make sure you are having the best dining experience. To many positives about Country MKT Dinner to name, but each will create a core memory.

You have to dine in to see what I mean. Parking is a little tricky, but street parking is available and could be free depending on the time of day you arrive but be prepared to walk or circle a bit before being able to secure your spot. Also highly recommend a reservation for a weekend as it was packed. In addition to the regular menu, they also had specials which our fabulous waiter took us through. We got a bunch of appetizers for the table to split and each got our own entrée. For a group of 4 we ordered more than enough and everything was fabulous. For starters, we had a trio of dips with pita, the pear arugula salad, crab cakes and the crispy cauliflower. The hummus was so creamy. Baba ghanoush, not too heavy on garlic and tzatziki bright and creamy. We ended up asking for extras of the pita as it was also good. The salad was beautiful and refreshing and the cauliflower appetizer, wow I could eat this all day every day. Crab cakes also delicious. For dinner we had one of the specials - scallops over risotto. Also did the Bronzino, Mediterranean skewer and leg of duck. Again, everything was cooked perfectly and seasoned so well. The hanger steak in the skewers with the chimichurri was so tender. The duck was falling off the bone tender. For dessert, we had the equivalent of a lava cake which we shared amongst the 4 of us. One of the best dinners I've had in a long time thanks to the vibe, our fabulous waiter and delicious food.

Don't go there hungry because you have to wait a very long time, even if the place is empty. They don't give you complimentary nothing, not even bread or pita. I can only imagine how much they're trying to save inside the kitchen. The place screams cheap! Some of the lighting doesn't work, our candles were never lit even though it was nighttime so our area was too dark. The waitress will switch on you without you knowing and they will not get your order right. The place setup is super sketchy, I think the chef brings the finished plate to a little closet near the bathroom and I looked inside the closet, it was filthy. The process is questionable and risky in terms of hygiene. They took forever to make the soufflé, even though we asked ahead and wanted it to come out after dinner. The soufflé was too pricey and it was not made well. On top of that, the ac stopped working during the scorching heatwave and they didn't offer anything to compensate and instead provided a terrible experience. I don't see this place lasting very long. Terrible!!!

They have both indoor and outdoor seating, making it a great option year-round. The menu is extensive, so there's something for just about everyone. As someone who has to eat gluten-free, I do wish they offered a few more GF options. That said, I really appreciate that they have gluten-free bread and wraps. My go-to order is the grilled chicken pesto wrap on a gluten-free wrap, and during the colder months, I love pairing a meal with one of their soups. I just wish there were more gluten-free side options besides a salad. They also have a nice selection of non-caffeinated iced teas, which is always a bonus when you're looking for something different to drink. Service can be on the slower side, especially during busy lunch or dinner hours, so it's best not to come if you're in a rush. The restaurant has a few TVs that are usually showing sports, giving it a relaxed neighborhood feel, and the bathrooms have consistently been clean whenever I've visited. If you pay with cash, you'll avoid the credit card service fee. One thing to know before you go: parking in downtown Westwood can be a bit of a headache. Pay attention to the parking signs and meters. Although, I would love to see the farmhouse expand their gluten-free menu, it is a reliable local spot with good food, a welcoming atmosphere, and enough variety to keep us coming back.
