From Long Island and when in "Rome" gotta stop here and have a great lunch! Soup, food, service all super friendly and great tasting. Nice and casual and truly a great spot.

Great breakfast in the heart of Ramsey. Service was friendly and super fast. Coffee is diner style coffee. Had the breakfast quesadilla which you don't see on a lot of menus. The portion was large and everything tastes great. Looking forward to stopping in for lunch and dinner too!

    Alpine Omelet. Huge portion!

I've been here a few times since they remodeled after the kitchen fire. Menu is a bit different for example several of the omelettes they used to have aren't there anymore. Totally fine because there's still enough for any pallet. Food is just as good as it always was. What I really love is the updated inside. Previously they only had dark booths and there was an outdated appearance throughout. Now everything is bright and open and there are tables for four on the outside and tables for two in the inside. This maximizes their space. Think Joanna Gaines. Definitely still a favorite for breakfast.

Delish. My table ordered the loaded hot dog, buffalo wings, chicken gyro and short stack French toast. Ordered take out but stayed when we saw there was out door dining (COVID). Tables were kept at a safe distance. Our fur baby also enjoyed staying at the table with us and even shared some chicken. Overall, we would come back here for sure.

Not necessary as three two tops were available. My wife and I took one, then each ordered one of their specialty coffee drinks. The presentation was excellent and taste was great. Such a nice start. Brunch foodies will love the menu choices. Sweet or savory, meat or veggie, cold or hot. Many dishes with a tasty side salad. Everything was fresh and expertly prepared. Decent portions and priced reasonably given the quality, location and ambiance. Five stars for sure. We will be back!

I headed over around 10:30, when I got there I thought the place was full but there is additional parking in the back. I sat down at the bar since I was by myself and was helped the promptly. The people who work there were all very friendly and I had ordered the braised beef hash. The food came out fairly quickly and it was perfectly cooked. The egg had the yolk runny but the white was fully cooked which is a perfect egg for me. The beef was tender and tasty. Overall a pretty good breakfast. The prices are a little high for breakfast, but when you consider their farm to table style I think it's actually reasonable. If you were looking for a good place to stop for breakfast or lunch, I don't think you would be disappointed. The food was pretty high quality. The service was good and fast. What else could you ask for from a breakfast place.

They offered two little slips to each customer - one for a savory crepe and one for a sweet and you can build you own. Great concept but it would be beneficial if the server confirmed the order because we asked for nutella, banana, strawberry, and ice cream and got 2/4. We were in a rush to leave so forgot to check the receipt to see if we were charged for the others; however it was $48 (w/o tip) for 1 panini, 1 crepe and 1 latte so a bit overpriced for the quality of food, in my opinion. The sandwich and crepe were both just okay, nothing to rave about. The drink was aesthetically pleasing with the iced Bear and tasted great. We asked for whipped cream on the latte but our server forgot that too. She also forgot to provide us water until we asked and it came at the end of the meal.  Outside dining was not optimal as it's right next to the railroad tracks and quite loud. There is a kids play area which I thought was a nice addition to the space, but I do wish it was gated off for the younger kids as it's so close to the road! Overall, I found that it was a bit overrated and underwhelming... there are so many restaurants to choose from in the area that I wouldn't opt to come back here.

(Reservations are not that easy to make last minute.) The restaurant is big and open but always busy. Kids get wax craft sticks to play with and bend into cool shapes, which I find very unique and cool. I feel like there is a difference between a diner and a true brunch place. A diner, of which there are numerous in New Jersey, is a establishment that churns out inexpensive, and potentially excellent, but very standard breakfast food - omelettes, pancakes, benedicts and the like. A true brunch place, on the other hand, offers things like lemon ricotta pancakes, cacio e pepe scrambles, mushroom thyme omelettes and shakshuka. Willow & Whisk is that kind of brunch place, and which is rare in New Jersey. The food options are varied, very tasty, and with good portion sizes. I love the shakshuka and the mushroom thyme omelette. Oh gosh, when is our next reservation again?

At the register, it was a little confusing as there was no line that had formed. There were people standing in front of the register and the young employee would just shout "next customer" and someone would decide to go next. In my opinion, I think the back room should have a door or curtain just for the employees privacy. I would not want customers seeing me eating or on my phone while I'm on a break. I'm sure most people know it's a break room, but for those who don't would be wondering why there are people sitting when the front of the store has customers waiting for their order to be taken. Back to the food... I got a panini with mozzarella, tomato, basil and chicken (additional $4.50). And I also go the Clean Green smoothie. They gave me a numbered placard so that someone could deliver my food to my table. The panini was good, but unfortunately the chicken was very dry and the ends of the bread was soggy. For something that was just made, the bread should not be soggy like it had been sitting in a liquid for a while. The smoothie was ok. I think they put too much vanilla extract in it because that was the only thing I could really taste. I think the banana needed to ripen for another day. Also, there was a grainy texture and I can't figure out why as there was no powder added to it. According to the menu, the ingredients are coconut water, banana, cucumber, spinach, dates, and vanilla extract. The total for my sandwich and drink was $31. This is an ok but overpriced lunch. I might come back to try something else in the future.

The food was fresh (how did they find a flawless avocado in the middle of winter???) and the flavors delicious. Don't go too far, because somehow they're able to move the tables without making folks feel rushed. Each person we encountered -- the host, the folks at the counter, our server -- was nicer than the last. I got a bowl that had slightly cooked spinach, poached eggs, sweet potatoes and that GOHgeous avocado I mentioned above. One thing I really liked about this bowl is that it didn't have rice in it -- something that would've made it too overwhelming. This was the perfect combo and portion size. Someone else in our small group got the avocado toast (more avocado!!) and also said it was excellent. Definitely plan to return!
