I really enjoyed the food and service here. It wasn't pricey, and the quality of everything felt really high. My friend and I agreed that it was the best falafel we've ever had and the owners were incredibly kind!

Absolutely delicious amazing experience every time we come to this charming middle eastern cafe. I highly recommend the mixed meze plate to start. The falafel and baba were some of the best I've ever had. Everyone at the table liked the Shepard's salad, even people who don't eat salad. Very flavorful and herb-y. Loved! The entrees and wraps were all great, too. The wraps are great and filling for dinner. Comes with fries or a salad. I love the chicken and the falafel. The food is really tops but it's the warm, wonderful, welcoming service that keeps us coming back.

This is a down to earth neighborhood joint with a Mediterranean flair. The inside is small with some tables and a counter...old fashioned vibe. It's a family run business, Dad and son made sure we had what we needed. I had Shaksuka: poached eggs over tomatoes and cheese, served with pita. It was delish. Hubby had the french toast which he said was very good.

We went for the first time and really enjoyed the food. It is BYO drinks and a liquor store is right next door. We had falafel, hummus, and burek for starters. As main course we had moussaka, beef shawarma and Gyros sandwiches. Our Son said it was the best gyros he's ever had. And that's a big statement for him. But I must agree, it was really good. Probably also my favorite from the dinner. Moussaka was different than I am used to so I was not amazed by that. prefer baked layers of eggplant and other vegetables to their version. But it's OK. We will be definitely back.

Three women, after having to leave the beach too early before the thunderstorms came, wanted a…read morelovely dinner after we got back up to Bergen County. One had eaten and taken out from here before and liked it, so we called, didn't need a reservation, off we went. At about 5:15, give or take, we were the first patrons there. It's a lovely large space, warmly decorated with tables and some banquettes. We chose a 4-top kind of right in the center! Comfy chairs, btw. The menu isn't strictly Greek or Lebanese or Turkish, kind of a combo of good choices from those cuisines. We started with an appetizer called Tinos Artichoke. Very interesting, served with small warm fresh wedges of pita plus a cup of deliciously seasoned pita chips. It's a dip of mashed artichokes with Greek yogurt, sun dried tomatoes, parsley, garlic, feta. S tasty! It's a great portion to share among several people. My friends each ordered the chicken soup with vegetables for appetizers. Quite a nice sized bowl for the price; I love avgolemono, if that's what it was (I didn't taste it), just didn't feel like having soup. They both liked it very much and then they were pretty full! I ordered two appetizers for my meal - Symi Shrimp and Grilled Halloumi. Excellent choices, and they worked really well together as a meal! The 2 slabs of perfectly cooked halloumi are served on a bed of romaine lettuce and some threads of carrot. The shrimp are small, very lightly breaded and deliciously seasoned; menu says garlic, lemon, but they were reddish so I suspect maybe paprika as well or cayenne + paprika (not hot but not bland), shredded feta sprinkled liberally on top. I'm a big eater, but after the appetizer I wasn't able to finish my meal; today I reheated in the toaster oven for a lunch treat! One friend had just the Symi shrimp as her meal; the soup had filled her up and she also took some home. Our other friend had the chicken shish. This came as a really well-balanced plate, with plenty of cubes of chicken, rice, and veggies. We ALL had to-go bags! Appetizer portions, just based on the appetizers we were served, are ample for sharing. Didn't stay for dessert, as I had a train to catch back into the City. When I'm out in Bergen County again, I'll think about coming back. If you live in the area, GO, It's very good and not exorbitantly priced.

Atlantis is still my favorite restaurant. Cozy atmosphere, friendly service, fresh tasty food, BYOB…read more(my favorite four letters), no credit card fee. I leave happy every time. Tino's Artichoke is a tasty start - an artichoke dip with feta and sun-dried tomatoes served with pita chips. We'll usually get the mixed grill (but subbing lamb in for the beef, way more flavor). Or, a mix of grilled octopus, grilled calamari and a salad. Everything is very flavorful and goes great with the pita bread. Our calamari was a little chewy this last visit, which surprised me. It's never like that. Octopus is always tender and comes with tasty charred onions, peppers, caperberries. Other delicious dishes here - chicken shish, the steak, gyro, grilled shrimp, lamb shish. Lately they've been decorating tables with fresh flowers - nice touch and complements the candles.

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with "Welcome home" and seated. Bobby was our waiter and he was knowledgeable, polite, and offered my guests choices and recommendations on our orders. And in true Savini tradition, our Specials Menu had been prepared with a Happy Birthday notation on top of the page for my special guest! The Filet Mignon Crostini, a special on the menu, was fantastic! Each of our entrees was perfectly prepared and delicious. Desserts were also wonderful. The service at Savini is always exceptional, as it was last evening. This is my favorite restaurant, especially if we have a special occasion to celebrate! Grateful!!!

They truly…read moretreat you like family the moment you walk through the door, and I couldn't imagine celebrating my 40th birthday anywhere else. The service was, as always, impeccable. They have a way of making a special night feel even more significant, balancing professional excellence with genuine warmth. They even made a personalized Specials Menu for the celebration! And the food? It's consistently fantastic. We started with a spread of appetizers that set the bar high: the Stuffed Figs and Meatball specials were standout hits, and you can't go wrong with their perfectly crisp Caesar Salad or the Escargot Scampi in that delicious puff pastry. For the main course, the Filet Mignon Oscar and Veal Imperial specials were prepared to perfection - decadent and incredibly fresh. The Cacio e Pepe was authentic and flavorful, and the Capellini special was light, but OH SO satisfying. They topped off the night with a beautiful birthday surprise -- Crème Brûlée (complete with a "Happy Birthday" chocolate sign and candle!) along with the Mixed Berries with Biscotti (can't go wrong with perfection!). Thank you to the entire team at Savini's for making my 40th Birthday Extravaganza so memorable. Whether it's a casual dinner or a life milestone, this place remains our "steady ground" and our favorite tradition. Can't wait for the next visit!
