"Harvest" margarita minus a few ingredients and that was the way it was served. 2/3 full.

Heard good things about this place so decided to check it out. Order the Harvest Margarita that was supposed to come with a brown sugar rim, cinnamon stick, Casamigos, apple cider and lemon juice. The drink came 2/3 full. It only tasted like tequila and lemon juice. It was missing the cinnamon stick, the brown sugar rim and the apple cider. The waiter said the bartender was old school, but if you're gonna have specials on the menu, then at least be able to make those. My husband had an old fashion that was okay but also very very small once you took out the ice and oranges. Not a place to get drinks unless you want small over priced ones. We ordered the steak sandwich which was delicious and the spicy crispy chicken sandwich, which was nothing great. There was no spice. We got a side of rice and a side of curry sauce ($3 just for the sauce). The cup of curry sauce was the size of a side of ketchup (kinda small). Despite the terrible drinks the server was super nice and very apologetic.

What a great place. Tons of TV's. Nice bar area. Great food. Excellent Staff. And the best thing it's lol is it's local. Get the awesome cheesesteak sliders.

This was "opening day." The service was slow and a bit dysfunctional but the place was really busy. We didn't get what we ordered either but... beer was cold and food was good. So given em a break and go cause at the end it was good! I bet when the dust settles it will be better than good.

Just had a 40th birthday at their Oakland location and everything was awesome. Food was good all our guests had nothing but good things to say. We did platters of sliders, potato kegs, veggie platter and chips and guacamole. It was all great for some apps and drinks. The service was on point. We had one attendant for our event and she was a rockstar. She handled everyone's drinks and keep checking in on me to make sure everything was good and I had a drink in hand. Sarah you're awesome :) and also to Bernice thank you for a memorable evening. Perfect way to celebrate a new decade.

The tater tots are magical! Crispy, fresh and golden. My husband makes fun of the fact that I order tater tots everywhere they're offered, but even he admits these are awesome. The restaurant definitely lives up to its name - there is an extensive and I mean EXTENSIVE beer list, and they are always adding new craft beers and selections from local breweries. The bourbon, whiskey and scotch list is pretty respectable too. There's always something happening here: trivia/bingo nights, a tapping event, or when UFC is on, so the variety in food and entertainment keeps things constantly interesting. The beer garden is open for the warm weather so you can dine outside as well. Service is great!

My coworker and I ate here twice during a single week. The place has a cool vibe, nice interior,…read moreand friendly staff. The reason for the 2 stars is because of this experience: On the first visit we ordered nachos. There was probably a tablespoon of pico de gallo on top. When we asked for some salsa, the server said that the pico de gallo should be enough, so basically she was saying, "No, you can't have any salsa." The nachos were extremely dry because of the small amount of cheese and pico de gallo. We asked again if we could have any salsa and this time her reply was, "We only make salsa on Thursdays." What the heck? You have nachos on the menu but only have salsa on one day of the week? She eventually did bring us one of those small plastic cups filled with about another 2 tablespoons of pico de gallo, but definitely not enough for a tray of nachos. On the second visit, one of the employees overheard my coworker say that she was going to order the impossible burger. He proceeded to go on and on (and I really do mean go on and on) about how awful the impossible burger is at this place. Opinions are fine but there's no need to make someone feel bad about what they want to order.

All of the food including Irish Beef Stew, a Dublin Burger, Fish & Chips, Bangers & Mash, Philly Cheesesteak, French Dip, a Sliced Steak Sandwich, & a Grilled Chicken Italian Sandwich were delicious. We had some appetizers, as well- French Onion Soup, Chicken Noodle Soup & Buffalo Fingers-all good. Many of us brought home part of the meals because of the generous portion sizes. Our server, Samantha, kept our glasses filled & was very attentive. She went above and beyond by bringing the birthday cake out with lighted candles and then cutting the cake into individual pieces-thanks Samantha! I recommend the Grasshopper without hesitation.

The au jus sauce tasted like soup out of a can - very salty, too. The French Fries were old and tasteless. The pickle was old, and the cole slaw was nothing but a teeny, tiny plastic cup of water with tiny bits of cabbage floating on top. I have never, ever been more disappointed in a restaurant. The server got several bills mixed up at the end of the meal. Fortunately for me, I paid in cash; but others who paid with credit cards had a terrible time. We drove there from West Milford. When we first walked in, we could smell bleach!

We stopped in mid-week for a family dinner after work and even on a Wednesday the place was buzzing. The restaurant itself is pretty tiny, which makes for a cozy atmosphere but also means tables are very close together. If you can, I'd definitely recommend making a reservation. The menu is somewhat minimal, but the food overall was good. I eat gluten-free and noticed the options were a bit limited, which made ordering slightly challenging. I ended up going with the sea scallops. They were nicely cooked, but the portion was smaller than I expected--five small scallops with some vegetables. For the price, I do wish the portion had been a bit more generous. I have to admit I left still a little hungry. My dad ordered the short rib grilled cheese and really enjoyed it. That was probably the standout dish at our table. My sister ordered the honey bourbon chicken and said it was okay, but afterward she mentioned she probably should have gone with the short rib grilled cheese instead. One surprise of the night was live music on a Wednesday. I usually enjoy live music, but since we were hoping to catch up as a family it made conversation a little difficult. The music was fairly loud for such a small space. Service was friendly and attentive throughout the meal. They also have a rewards program, which worked out nicely--my dad received a complimentary dessert for his birthday. I ordered the crème brûlée, which was a great way to end the meal. A couple practical tips: parking in Ridgewood can be tricky. The restaurant advertises valet parking, though we didn't use or see it during our visit. If you find street parking, make sure to feed the meter because the town is known for giving out tickets. In warmer months they do offer some outdoor sidewalk seating, though it looks fairly limited. It also appears they have a happy hour, though we didn't arrive in time to try it. Overall, I'd recommend checking out Steel Wheel Tavern--just be mindful of the timing of your visit, especially if you're hoping for a quieter dinner.
