I came across this spot for lunch and placed my order via phone with a very nice man. I ordered the shrimp fra diavolo with linguini. When I arrived I parked in the plaza parking lot. I walked in and was greeted. My food was ready, I paid and left. When I got in I ate and the meal wasn't bad at all. I expected the sauce to be more spicy but it wasn't. All in all I had a decent experience.

    Plain slice, pepperoni slice. Delicious!

Asparagus salad and eggplant parm are the best here! Pizza is solid, haven't found a favorite yet.

Would have appreciated more seasoning and vodka sauce. Barely any sauce. The Churros were good. I would have preferred the chocolate sauce on the side to dip. Pretty pricey for the pie $35 and churros were $12.

So for the last few months I've been conducting my own personal search for the best buffalo chicken…read morepizza in Wayne and I think I found it ::insert fanfare!:: Ok so what's so good about it?? Unlike other spots in town Pizza One uses buffalo sauce as the base on the pizza, which is the only way go! Topped with mozz and buffalo chicken it's simple and so so good! Other places in town use a red sauce as their base which does not make sense to me. Another spot in town uses buff sauce but drowns their dough in it and that is just too much sauce, man. Pizza One has figured out the right sauce/cheese/chicken ratio. Their regular cheese pie is a winner too. They do a really nice thin but not too thin crust here which works for a plain pie but also is a nice base for loading up with the toppings too. I also have to talk about their garlic knots. Also the best that I've found in town (so far anyway..). They are big, fluffy and loaded with garlic. They are served w/ marinara but if you've got an extra buck I'd suggest you spring for the vodka sauce - it's sooooo good w/ the knots. No complaints re: service or wait times for pies. Pizza One is just a super solid spot in town to get food. Bonus -- if you order online they've always got some sort of deal going on - ie: a large cheese pie and 12 wings for $26 or 3 large pies for $42. We often order the pizza/wing combo (when I'm not insisting on ordering the aforementioned buffalo chicken pizza..) and when you compare to other spots you're saving at least $5 which is not nothin'.

It's plant-based, made with coconut milk and brown sugar, and topped with coconut flakes. The portion was easily enough for four people and absolutely delicious--super fresh and flavorful. Our server, Tara, was wonderful--so sweet and attentive. She checked in often, kept our drinks filled, and made sure we enjoyed everything from the food to dessert. Guy seemed overwhelmed and reluctantly took my order. I showed up 30 min later and no one had any record of my order. I recognized the guy's voice and told him he took my order. He was pissed and got into a shouting match with me with 3 other customers around. Came back with the order and the pie had full toppings. Small nit but annoying. 3rd time: I called at 6pm on a Thursday. No one picked up. Opted to place order on their website and got the same item as last time. Showed up at and the same miserable guy asked for my name and order... and then said he didn't have any order. I told him I placed an order on the website... and he said "You should have called." with an awful (only a mother can love) grin. I showed him my email confirming 6:20pm pickup time and he said he had no order... before pulling a pie with my name on it. I asked if it had half pepperoni and it didn't. Full toppings AGAIN. Clearly, their website is not equipped to actually take half toppings orders. Pizza is OK but not worth the headache or poor service here.

Hands down the BEST 00-Style Wood-Fired Pizza in New Jersey…read moreyou're anywhere near Fairfield, stop what you're doing and get to Double Zero Pizza. I'm honestly shocked this place isn't packed wall-to-wall every night -- this is the kind of pizza you expect to find in Naples . From the second you walk in, you know they take their craft seriously. Stacks of real wood, the authentic Pavesi Italian oven, and trays of perfectly risen dough balls -- it's the real deal. No shortcuts, no gimmicks. Just craftsmanship. I ordered two pies: White Pie with Mushrooms & Olives Incredible. The crust has that perfect leopard-spotted char, blistered just right, crispy on the outside but still soft and airy inside. The ricotta and mozzarella are super fresh, the mushrooms taste like they were sliced minutes before hitting the oven, and the olives add the perfect salty punch. Every bite tasted like it was straight out of a wood-fired pizza boutique. Classic Margherita One word: unreal. The sauce is bright and fresh, the cheese melts into little pools of heaven, and the basil actually survives the oven without turning bitter. Balanced, clean, and addictive. The crust is truly the star -- you can tell they use high-quality "00" flour and slow fermentation. Light, airy, not heavy at all. The kind of crust you want to eat all of, even the charred ends. The owner Mike clearly cares about every detail -- from the dough to the toppings to the oven temperature. This isn't "pizza shop pizza," this is artisanal, handcrafted, authentic wood-fired pizza done right. Prices are super fair for this quality. Cash-only but totally worth it. If you love real Neapolitan wood-fired pizza, put this place on your list immediately. Easily one of the best pies I've had in NJ -- maybe the best. I'll definitely be back .

I stood by the counter and no one looked at me. Finally one of the kids asked me if he could help me. Picked up my meatball parm and went home. Paid two extra dollars for garlic bread, and two extra dollars for extra cheese. I do not believe there was extra cheese, and for two dollars, I should have NO doubts there was extra cheese. There wasn't really even enough cheese on it for there to have been a regular parmesan sandwich. So that 13 dollar sandwich became a 17 dollar sandwich. I do not think that was a good deal. And I do not believe that it was served on garlic bread. I've had lots of garlic bread, and I can always tell it's garlic bread, mostly because it tastes like garlic. I actually forgot we ordered it on garlic bread until my last bite, which was all bread, and I noticed the distinct lack of garlic. Also missing were some meatballs. There were perhaps four or maybe five small meatballs on this 10 inch roll. It was very sparse. The sauce was good. Overall, not very impressed with this place. It was a poor first impression. I suggest training the people who work there to greet customers as soon as they walk in. Just have someone yell "Hello, we'll be right with you!". Or give a smile and a nod toward the counter. or SOMETHING. I know margins are slim at a restaurant, but maybe put an extra meatball in the sandwich, and some extra cheese on if you're going to charge two dollars for extra cheese. Don't think I'll be going back.
