    Porcini pizza

Fantastic pizza and great service. Had the margherita and porcini pizzas: so good and authentic. Seating was a little limited, or we came too late to sit in the dining room.

10000/10 on the pizza. This place looks like such a hole in the wall, and it really is when you go inside to pick up the food but boy is it good! The owner is sweet, efficient, and after ordering for pick up he had my order ready in like 15 minutes. The arugula/parmesan/red onion salad also tasted delicious and came in a huge portion. Like everybody in the reviews says, the crust is to die for! Can't wait to come back and try all the other pizzas :)

Mom's Delight and Pistachio Pesto pies. You need these!!

Still a 5 star experience. Wish I lived closer so I could visit all the time. Found out that it's called Double Zero because that's the flour type they use to make the amazing thin crust. Had the Pinnochi sausage pie minus the pesto this time...OMG!! So good and the chef is a sweetheart. Reminds me of what my favorite Italian uncle would be like if I had one

Not much to look at but looks are deceiving.

Not much curb appeal or interior appeal for that matter but ever since Covid, this place has primarily turned into a take-out joint and that's a damn shame. The owner is old-school friendly and takes pride in his craft. Pies are all made to order and he aims to please. The real star here is the double zero crust. Those who know, know. Carbs be damned!

Popeye Pizza! Ricotta, roasted garlic, crumbled chorizo and of course spinach!

I've been hearing about this place for a long time. A few people I trust with good food also recommended it. They were right! Thin, crispy crust, fresh tasting San Marzano tomato sauce and whole milk mozzarella. I watched the pizza maker finish it off with a sprinkle of parmesan and a drizzle of olive oil. On the small side. I could definitely eat one by myself! But no worries, I ordered three! Two pepperoni and the Popeye pizza. Ricotta, spinach, roasted garlic, crumbled chorizo and San Marzano tomatoes. Both were over the top delicious! I plan on eventually trying them all! No delivery, cash only. There are two tables for four so we sat and had ours straight out of the oven! Brought the other two home. The owner was very nice and takes pride in his pizza. I could tell he appreciated my compliments.

    New place for me!

What a great little place. If you are looking for authentic Neapolitan pizza this is the place. And the owner is such a nice person.

Genuinely one of the best pizzas I've ever put in my face. So good that it's even worth dealing with the cash-only policy

I had my back to the bar, but from what I was able to see this is a very cozy place. Service was quick and attentive, and we did not feel rushed and were able to enjoy a pleasant time chatting. Drinks: the black walnut Manhattan, Fig jam old fashioned, wine , beer and port. Drinks were all excellent, i tasted the Manhattan and enjoyed it over the Fig Jam. For apps: Clams oreganato (the couple with us enjoyed this), flat bread (was much more like pizza than flat bread, but still tasty, per my husband), and on the special New England Clam Chowder which was very good, not too thick and decent and fresh clams in it. Entrees: Shrimp Risotto scampi, very flavorful Risotto cooked perfectly. Two of us ordered the Cajun Mahi Mahi, over spinach with mashed, and 2 shrimp. the Cajun sauce was tasty with the perfect amount of heat, shrimp and mahi-mahi fresh and cooked perfectly. Rigatoni Bolognese which my husband enjoyed and said it was almost as good as my Italian mother's (like a good son-in-law) lol Dessert: Crème Brûlée - Brûlée was perfect, the crème was a little too thick for me. I ate it and enjoyed it, but not the best I've had. My husband ordered the key Lime Pie happy that it did not include nuts in the crust as some do, he thought it was good. Overall we had an enjoyable albeit pricy meal with good service. I would come back if other's wanted to go but it would not be my go to place.

Don't order and then leave to wander around outside like I did because 6 minutes means 6 minutes. Good salty mozz, chewy thin crust. And he's right, you need to eat it hot. The rest of the pizza was not so great cold and reheated, those thin slices are a joy of the moment thing not to be revisited. But on the upside, I view the thin slices as really like eating half a standard regular slice, so go for as many as you can manage. This is one of the Jersey greats that is rarely mentioned, try it out.

The pizza is limited to a square pie, cut into small squares. Very thin, very crunchy, quite flavorful. This restaurant is mid sized with about 15 tables, seems to be able to accommodate very easily small and large groups. Also BYOB. Beyond their pizza, the full Italian menu pretty complete., very reasonable pricing. An inexpensive night out for a group of four. Conveniently located just behind the Red Roof Inn, it's an accessible hidden gem. Also plenty of parking. Very casual dining, in an old-school setting. I also noticed they are have a back room equipped for large parties. They also take reservations on busy nights.

They also have a full bar, craft beer and offer much more than just pizza, including vegan options, a great selection of appetizers, salads, handcrafted pastas, plus fish and steak dishes. The menu is really well done. We decided to share a few pizzas since the brick oven was calling our name: Margherita - fresh mozzarella, tomato sauce, and basil Pesto Chicken - wood-fired chicken, fresh basil, mozzarella, Fontina, and basil pesto Smokey the Pig - smoked mozzarella, baked prosciutto, field mushrooms, fresh garlic, and EVOO For dessert, we shared the coconut cake. It's plant-based, made with coconut milk and brown sugar, and topped with coconut flakes. The portion was easily enough for four people and absolutely delicious--super fresh and flavorful. Our server, Tara, was wonderful--so sweet and attentive. She checked in often, kept our drinks filled, and made sure we enjoyed everything from the food to dessert. I'll definitely be back to try more dishes!

Sometimes bad things happen to good people. I could also be very dramatic about things but I don't think I am. One of the bathroom stalls I locked and when I locked it I felt something on my thumb. IT WAS BROWN!!!!!!!! I came out of there and washed my hands until my thumb was raw! My whole hands were red. I don't even know how many times I washed them! This tiny dot of .... Let's not be coy but SHIT literally makes me even more afraid to use a public bathroom!! when I fucking hate them to begin with! I don't know how often a restaurant is supposed to check on stuff like this but God knows how long this was there for or who did it in the first place! People are fucking disgusting! it was in the handicap stall because one stall had pee on the seat which I also hate, and the other stall had no toilet paper. I'm not sure if this review is supposed to defer you from eating here. My food was really good. But this really freaked me out.
