Five Stars for this Super Solid one of a kind business that's owned and operated by a really cool old school type guy who runs this cash-only spot right on Rt 46w. Pretty sure they call this place Double Zero because your eyes will literally pop wide open like two "00" at first sight of this perfectly baked incredibly delicious wood fired Pizza. Then all you have to do is try to control the urge to instantly bite into this amazing looking piping hot deliciousness. Otherwise your mouth will be doing one of these "0" Just be patient and let things cool down a bit okay. And then. .  and then. .  your H00KED!! Don't fight it, just bite it. And know that you're enjoying one of the Best Wood Fired Neapolitan Style Pizzas Ar00und!! Come And Get Your Munch On!!

Fantastic pizza and great service. Had the margherita and porcini pizzas: so good and authentic. Seating was a little limited, or we came too late to sit in the dining room.

10000/10 on the pizza. This place looks like such a hole in the wall, and it really is when you go inside to pick up the food but boy is it good! The owner is sweet, efficient, and after ordering for pick up he had my order ready in like 15 minutes. The arugula/parmesan/red onion salad also tasted delicious and came in a huge portion. Like everybody in the reviews says, the crust is to die for! Can't wait to come back and try all the other pizzas :)

Mom's Delight and Pistachio Pesto pies. You need these!!

Still a 5 star experience. Wish I lived closer so I could visit all the time. Found out that it's called Double Zero because that's the flour type they use to make the amazing thin crust. Had the Pinnochi sausage pie minus the pesto this time...OMG!! So good and the chef is a sweetheart. Reminds me of what my favorite Italian uncle would be like if I had one

Not much to look at but looks are deceiving.

Not much curb appeal or interior appeal for that matter but ever since Covid, this place has primarily turned into a take-out joint and that's a damn shame. The owner is old-school friendly and takes pride in his craft. Pies are all made to order and he aims to please. The real star here is the double zero crust. Those who know, know. Carbs be damned!

Popeye Pizza! Ricotta, roasted garlic, crumbled chorizo and of course spinach!

I've been hearing about this place for a long time. A few people I trust with good food also recommended it. They were right! Thin, crispy crust, fresh tasting San Marzano tomato sauce and whole milk mozzarella. I watched the pizza maker finish it off with a sprinkle of parmesan and a drizzle of olive oil. On the small side. I could definitely eat one by myself! But no worries, I ordered three! Two pepperoni and the Popeye pizza. Ricotta, spinach, roasted garlic, crumbled chorizo and San Marzano tomatoes. Both were over the top delicious! I plan on eventually trying them all! No delivery, cash only. There are two tables for four so we sat and had ours straight out of the oven! Brought the other two home. The owner was very nice and takes pride in his pizza. I could tell he appreciated my compliments.

    New place for me!

Since I'm always on the lookout for new pizzerias, I decided to stop in at Double Zero for lunch today. This place is a little different. There are no shelves with assorted varieties of pies on display. They make personal pies and have a wide variety of sandwiches and hot food. Fortunately, they will serve a plain slice which I had today. The slice was delicious! As I was paying, however, the woman at the counter showed me a sandwich in the oven. Wow! That's the star of this show. Next time I come back (and it won't be long) I'm getting one of those! The owners of this restaurant were extremely friendly and appreciative of the business. Parking is easy and prices reasonable. Looking forward to coming back for a sandwich and doing another review!

Genuinely one of the best pizzas I've ever put in my face. So good that it's even worth dealing with the cash-only policy

Lots of kale, but was light and the combination of all of the ingredients were perfect. Red wine vinaigrette was perfect too, not too heavy. ++++ Shroom Pie, Pesto Chicken Pie - Absolutely phenomenal!!!! Some of the best pizza I've had in NJ! So much flavor in both pies. The pies were personal in size, 12", and perfect for 1 person. ++++ Kids Plain Pie - This 12" pie might have been the greatest kids pizza I've everrrrrr, eveerrrrrr had. There was so much flavor in the cheese and pie. It was tangy and the tomato sauce's flavor definitely hit me in allllll of the right spots! ++++ Kids Mac and Cheese - Verrrry, verrrry good as well. Cheese was gooey and it was topped with bread crumbs. It was served in a skillet and didn't come out piping hot, which we appreciated since it was for the kids. + Supppper spacious restaurant with LOTS of tables, including a bar with counter seats. + Waitress was personally friendly and quick. + Large private parking lot. The restaurant was extremely busy on the February Saturday evening that we went. We were here from 5:30-7:00 PM and it was bustling with many groups/families. CONCLUSION --------------------

The interior is nicely decorated with a cozy Italian vibe that makes it a great place to sit back and enjoy a few pies. If you follow Barstool, you might remember that Portnoy gave this place an 8.8 -- and it's well deserved. I can personally attest to that score. We started with a plain pizza, just like Portnoy did, and he absolutely nailed it. The crust was perfectly thin and crispy, with great flavor and not greasy at all. Next up was the Easy on the Pizzi -- vodka sauce base, crispy cup pepperoni, mozzarella, fresh burrata, basil, and a drizzle of Mike's Hot Honey. The combination of rich, savory, and slightly sweet flavors worked perfectly together. We also tried The Nicky Newarker, topped with thinly sliced sausage and onions on that signature thinny-thin crust. Another great choice. The pictures really don't do these pizzas justice, though they'll definitely make your mouth water. Our server was fantastic -- friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better. I'm already looking forward to going back to try more of their specialty pies. If you love thin-crust pizza and you're in the area, this spot is absolutely worth checking out.

I sat at the bar because the wait for a table was long, and the service was excellent. Each of the bartenders was friendly and attentive. Although I sat at the bar, I had a peach iced tea and one of their seasonal mocktails. Both tasted fantastic, and I didn't even miss the alcohol. For dinner, I had the Bader Sting pizza, which featured soppressata, mozzarella, tomato sauce, and hot honey. It was fantastic. My mate had the grandma pizza (mozzarella, pecorino romano, pesto, garlic, tomato sauce, oregano), and it was equally delicious. Since we were served bread before the meal, we could've shared one pizza since it had 6 slices, but I was glad I had leftovers. All in all, I had a great experience at Woodstack and look forward to trying their wings since I saw so many orders coming out. We couldn't get a table as walk-ins, but the bar high-tops were totally fine. The staff was attentive, and for a busy Sunday we were able to place our order pretty quickly. We tried the eggplant pizza, citrus olives, and the beet salad. The pizza was super fresh and came straight out of the wood oven, but honestly the standout parts of the meal were the house-made marinated citrus olives and the warm bread they slice and serve as soon as you sit down. Those olives are a must-order. The rest of the meal was solid, though the beet salad was just okay--it could have used more volume and toppings to make it feel more balanced. Service was friendly, but they did linger a bit and stopped by our table more than I would've preferred, I'm talking the server, busser, and food runner? and some other random employees? Love how willing they are to make sure you're having a good dining experience but it was quite disruptive to the actual meal.
