A classic NJ pie. We especially loved the grandma's pie. They hosted 13 kids for an early pizza "party" with a smile for a 6th birthday, and we were so grateful to have a local spot to celebrate. The owner let us bring in a balloons and cupcakes to sing happy birthday, which we greatly appreciated! So many guests said they'll be ordering from here now because of the hospitality! I typically hate any Anthony Francos but growing up in Butler this one was decent. My brother offered to grab pizza before coming by to watch a game and i cringed when he said Anthony Francos but not wanting to be difficult I rolled with it. He brought over a plain pie, a margarita pie and a large antipasto. The antipasto was perfect with delicious dressing and the margarita pie was light and delicious. I'm not exactly running back to the other locations closer to my house, but would definitely try this location again. read more

Stopped in for the first time. My boyfriend raves about this place and I was eager to try it out. There are so many pizza options - you won't know what to choose! We ordered two buffalo chicken slices and meat lovers slice. Both were amazing. They are more of a deep dish style, which I love. The buffalo chicken is full of flavor - the mix of hot sauce with marina was perfect. It is on the spicer side, but I really enjoyed it. Kept finding myself eating more and more. The meat lovers is also very delicious. That option has honey mustard on it which I'm a fan of. Both were very filling!! Found myself still full hours later. I really loved all the choices they had. I stumbled upon this pizza place after coming out of shoprite (this place is right next store). My job is about 10 minutes from here, and I have not tried, until recently. I must say right off the bat I enjoyed it so much, that I came back the following week, lol. I have tried a total of 4 different pizza slices. And each one was delicious. First, the slices are made on thick crust pizza. I enjoy alot of crust when I eat pizza, so this was a great plus for me. My first visit I had a meat lovers pizza slice and a buffalo chicken pizza slice. Between these two, I enjoyed the buffalo chicken one more, but thats only because I love buffalo chicken. It was perfectly made. They use lots of chicken and hotsauce, which works so well. However, the meat lovers was also loaded with toppings, which is another plus for me. I love lots of toppings on a pizza slice. Thats why this place is great. They load each pizza with toppings. When I came back, I ordered a BBQ chicken slice and a chicken delight slice. I have a weakness for chicken on pizza. Again, both of these slices were so good. The bbq one was nice and tangy, and just went down so fast. Their chicken delight slice is special as they put honey mustand on it. Bith very delicious. No complaints on anything here. I just noticed this place. The parking shares the same lot as ShopRite, so I deducted one star because it's very hard to get a parking spot close. The menu is extensive and so is the selection of slices. I purchased the baked ziti slice. This was different than most. It was thicker so you can actually pick it up with one hand and not have it flop down. You didn't need to use a knife and fork. Pizza should never be eaten with a knife and fork. The cheese was tasty and so was the sauce. Next time I'll just get a regular slice. The beverage selection was also good. I will be back to try other slices. This is a close second to my favorite spot in Livingston. But hands down, I think they are first with these ziti pies. read more

Ordered online after 1.5 hrs of waiting we called to check on status they said the calzone just went in the oven. We ordered 1 chicken sandwich, 1 calzone and 1 order of fries. Yikes! I ordered dinner from there tonight as we've usually been doing on Friday nights and man was it BAD. Most of the time we get pizza and it's consistently good but tonight we wanted to switch it up so I got a tortellini en broda soup and ordered a cold wrap with eggplant, roasted peppers, fresh mozz and balsamic. The soup I got was pretty good although kind of oily which was a bit odd... Then I took a bit of my wrap and it was just so so disgusting. The eggplant was not sliced thin, not bitter and crispy... instead it was inedible, slimy, thick cut and tasted so bitter. I took one bite and spit it out. What a shame! The wrap was like ten bucks and it went directly into the garbage. I know how to make eggplant and this was just sloppy and gross. Normally food we get is good here not sure if it was an off night or if this is seriously how they make eggplant... normally their hot eggplant parm is thin and breaded, this was just nasty. I literally crave this local pizza shop every time I am out of town haha. The pizza is phenomenal even if it is $3.50 per slice haha but it is soo worth it! The staff is a hit or miss. My husband and I have lived in WO for over a year, we ordered from this location in Livingston for the first time about a year ago and was told I live to far and they will not deliver to me again. Fast forward to the pandemic March 2020, I decided to try again. Obviously due to the shut down and loss of business they had no issue with delivering to WO. I gave them my business once a week for the last 5 months. I've been loyal to them and gave them business when they needed it most. Now that the restrictions have been lightened and business is picking up for them they say they will not deliver to my home any longer. I go to Shoprite all the time so finally decided to stop in today. Staff very friendly and accommodating. We got the chicken Francese and a small thin crust pizza. The Francese was amazing! Only thing I'd say is a little more garlic in the sauce. The pizza, however, was not my favorite. The crust tasted different - dry I think. The pizza overall just didn't have much flavor. Really decent pizza joint located in a Shoprite strip mall in Livingston. used to go for kid's birthday party pick ups and tried the pizza. It's not fancy but its good and they have a multitude of toppings. The sauasage is excellent as is the buffalo chicken. From traditional to funky they do it all. Subs are also good here. I moved to Texas 4 years ago and every time I visit my hometown, the first thing I do is swing for two slices of Anthony Francos delicious pizzas. Between their Italian selections such as Eggplant Florentine and Vodka Marinara Special and their non-traditional pies like Taco Pizza and Honey Chicken Bacon Deluxe, there is always something to enjoy. And when I get a bunch of my friends over, you can bet we order 4 pies that are gone within 30 minutes of delivery. An excellent place for excellent pizza. read more

I give this review of one star only for this time I've been eating at this restaurant for many many years but last night I ordered a meal that was $75. My wife is a simple eater. All she wanted was a calzone with cheese in it. Mozzarella cheese Only No Ricotta in it it arrived at the house. Everything was looking good until she cut into it and it was stuffed with ricotta cheese. I called the restaurant and said there was a mistake made. They said they can make me a new one. Then they called me back after I told him yes OK make a new one. They called me back a total of three times, each time saying that they were not at fault. Meanwhile this the receipt says no ricotta then they said well they would have to charge me for a new one and the delivery for their fuck up. That was unacceptable to me. I was always nice to the girl on the phone. She's very nice. I was very nice but I could hear her employer in the background pretty much tell me to go F myself. read more

I'm surprised I haven't written a review here yet. I've been going to Anthony Franco's for years and it is always good. Whenever I'm hungry for pizza, this is my go to place for pickup or delivery. Whenever anyone goes here they usually order the pizza-which is amazing- but they also have sandwiches and dinner meals. The chicken parm dinner is HUGE and it comes with a side of pasta with their delicious sauce. It is big enough for two people. Also, their chicken milanese is delicious. In the past I have catered from there and it is also great. This is definitely the place to go for a quick bite, a meal for many people, or for catering. read more

My job has ordered from this place for the past decade . More recently within the past year each time we order we are told a different price per slice. One day it's $3.50 and another day $4.00 (this is at PICK UP) . We normally will go to pick up but sometimes we have it delivered. We ALWAYS TIP . Today when we asked for salad we were told you have to dine in to eat their salad because we don't tip! Not only is this rude to say but it is completely false. We are a local business in LIvingston that has been purchasing pizza from Anthony Francos for years, and I cannot believe that after all the loyalty, we noticed disgusting MOLD in the Pizza after half the staff already have eaten the pizza, so we called and the MANAGER named Brian and the minute we were on the phone he did not apologize, or offer anything he just denied and said it was impossible because they make the food fresh every day. I told him I did not care if you made it fresh because the cheese had mold in it and I was disgusted that we all ate some of it. He then sent a driver to the store to pick the pizza up to give the credit of a measly $14 and the driver said he had to have the entire pizza, and we told him we did not notice it, UNFORTUNATELY AFTER MOST OF IT WAS EATEN, and we are all disgusted. Then the driver put the Manager Brian on the phone and I could not believe what I was hearing from a MANAGER...He actually had the nerve to accuse us of trying to get a free pizza because the entire pizza wasn't there! TRUST ME WISH WE CAUGHT IT SOONER! I cannot believe after all of the years of the staff supporting Anthony Franco's Pizza by purchasing, in my opinion, this nasty disgusting pizza that's RAW half the time, and bland, and I personally have had better pizza out of a box. However, the staff still purchased with no complaints, and as a matter of fact when the staff was eating the pizza I looked at it and asked them how they could eat such bland unappealing pizza knowing that there are several other pizza places in town that are much better. As I was saying this and they were eating it is when the employee was eating in and noticed the MOLD, and almost puked! I immediately called Anthony Franco's Manager Brian and he had the nerve to tell me and my staff on the phone, even after his deliver driver told him on the phone it was MOLD, that it was too bad, and since the pizza was mostly gone, he was not going to credit us the pizza. I could not believe what I was hearing, and that the owner would actually think for one second that we were trying to get our $14 back and told us we were lying! Insane! I don't know what was more DISGUSTING- the PIzza with Mold or how horrible this Manager was, and how he treated a local business that has been supporting them for years! Still love this place's pizza, but I don't understand why the quality of the in-pizzeria plain pies and the take-out pies differ so vastly. The plain slice they serve when you eat in house is super delish with a thin and crispy crust. If you order a plain pie for pick up or delivery... the pie is always on the doughy/thicker side, more closely resembling the thickness of the dough on their specialty pies. Bums me out :( Love their specialty pies (esp: eggplant rollatini, buffalo chicken, margherita), but because of this I now choose to order elsewhere in town for plain pies when I'm getting takeout. -1 star for the consistent inconsistency. read more
